Chapter 184 She, I Want Her

Chapter 184 She, I Want Her

Under the lights, a young man walked slowly into the room.

His posture was upright, his appearance sunny and handsome.

Stella recognized him immediately as the young man who had draped clothes over her last time.

Mason Jones saw that Stella recognized him and smiled. "We meet again."

Mason looked clean and pure, harmless.

Yet an unfathomable aura surrounded him invisibly, carrying the commanding presence of someone in power.

He walked up to Stella, positioning himself in front of her, and looked at Richard, enunciating each word: "She's mine."

Richard's dark eyes locked coldly onto the young man before him, his aura sharp and icy. "Touch her and see what happens."

As soon as he finished speaking, several men rushed out from behind Mason.

They looked fierce and menacing, clearly capable fighters.

Mason raised his hand, his expression gentle. "This man is my brother-in-law. We're all family here—let's not hurt anyone."

Richard's brow furrowed tightly, his mind immediately going to Nicole. "You're Nicole's brother?"

Then it dawned on him. "Nicole kidnapped Stella?"

Mason stood before him, his eyes tender, his tone lazy and casual. "That's right. I'm Nicole's half-brother. She begged me to help her out, so I'm just doing her a small favor."

Mason's lips curved in a faint smile, looking gentle and harmless, yet the commanding aura he exuded was suffocating.

Richard's fists clenched tight, rage exploding in his eyes, his body radiating murderous intent, his voice cold as ice, filled with lethal fury.

"She's not yours to covet!"

Before he finished speaking, Richard moved suddenly, his fierce aura erupting as he reached out to forcibly take her away.

But Mason was faster, pressing a gun to his head.

His eyes were cold, though his lips held a faint smile. "Richard, don't be so impulsive. After all, this is my territory."

"Ah!" Stella had never experienced such a scene and screamed in fright.

Instinctively, she grabbed Mason's hand. "I'll go with you. Just let him go."

Hearing Stella's words, Mason's smile deepened. He stared at Richard. "You heard her? She's coming with me. So stop wasting your effort before you lose your life here."

Stella was afraid Mason's gun might go off, so she kept pulling at his sleeve. "Can you put the gun away? I'm scared."

Stella was genuinely afraid, so much so that her voice trembled, making it unbearably alluring to hear.

Mason didn't know why, but though he'd only met Stella twice, something about her quality was extraordinarily attractive.

Seeing she was truly frightened, he put the gun away without another word.

Then he reached out his callused hand to touch Stella's face.

The fear of recent days made Stella instinctively shrink back, her already fragile body trembling uncontrollably.

Mason's brow furrowed, feeling somewhat distressed.

These damned people had scared her like this.

His hand, suspended in mid-air, finally withdrew.

"Let's go."

Mason was about to leave with Stella.

The next second, Richard suddenly attacked Mason.

But before he could touch him, dozens of elite bodyguards in black rushed out from outside, moving swiftly and with military precision, instantly surrounding and restraining Richard.

Outnumbered, facing top-tier fighters, Richard was alone, exhausted from days of searching, and after several attempts to break free, he was ultimately overwhelmed.

Within seconds, he was firmly subdued, his arms locked tight, unable to move.

Murderous intent surged through him, rage rolled in his eyes, yet he was powerless to break free.

Stella was terrified something would happen to Richard. She immediately pleaded with Mason. "Let him go, please?"

Her eyes were red, like a frightened little rabbit.

Mason couldn't bear to see her like this. He immediately took her hand, saying gently, "Wait for me a moment."

With that, he walked forward slowly, standing before Richard, looking down at the man whose face was icy cold, eyes bloodshot with rage, his tone gentle yet carrying a cold warning.

"Richard, face reality."

"This is my territory, my rules. On this land, no one can take away someone I want to keep."

"Today I'm sparing your life, letting you leave safely—that's the greatest courtesy I can show."

"Don't let me see you approach her again. Otherwise, next time, I won't show mercy."

His gentle voice concealed a deadly threat.

Every word was crushing, every word a declaration.

Richard's chest heaved violently, his eyes filled with bloodshot veins, grinding his back teeth with force that nearly shattered them, his voice hoarse and sharp, carrying an unyielding obsession and determination.

"You can trap me, you can stop me, you can control everything here."

"But I'm telling you, Mason."

"My woman will never be handed over to anyone else in this lifetime."

"As long as I draw breath, I will never give up on her—no matter how long it takes, no matter how difficult, no matter who the opponent is, I will take her away."

Mason looked at the extreme obsession in his eyes and smiled faintly. "I've heard bits and pieces about your history with her. You hurt her heart over some lowly woman, and now you're putting on this act?"

"Richard, I'm telling you, she's not your woman anymore. I'm only releasing you out of consideration for her. Go back and marry my sister soon, understand?"

"In your dreams! I'd rather die than marry Nicole." Richard tried to break free, but these men were specially trained—he couldn't escape at all.

Stella was afraid Richard would get hurt. She instinctively stepped forward, but Mason blocked her. "What are you doing?"

Stella looked up. "Can I say a few words to him?"

Mason didn't release his hold.

"Please."

Her soft voice was impossible for Mason to resist. He let go and said, "Be quick. I don't have much patience."
