Chapter 60 Throw the first punch
Lilian pov :
“Fifty-one… fifty- two… ah shit” I fell to the ground with a thund, my breathing could be heard from a metre away.
Seraphine stared at me without no emotion, she was in the boss mood so nothing I say would change her mind.
I grunted and continued with my push - up, I went on and on till, “ Eighty ahh…oh my god, jeez “ I said rolling on the floor with my chest heaving and my heart pumping fast.
Seraphine just clasp her two hands together and rubbed them,” that's good I'm going to give you a minute, here “
She passed me some water, I snatched it from her hands and muttered a little thank you.
I gulped the water down in anger and I think the idiot went down the wrong pipe and I started coughing.
“ The least you could do was drink the water gently but of course not, you love forcing things down, stand up let's go on with the combat training”
I looked up at her with my puppy eye's, “ Seraphine??”.
She grumbled then looked at me, “ yeah, out with it..”
“ I don't think I can go again my bones are aching me please”
“And I don't actually have a say in that ‘cause you need to see the training given to others, I'm actually going easy on you right now and you're still slagging”
I breathed out in defeat, “ Sorry “.
“ Stand up, C'mon now what we're going to do is that you would try to hit me “
I snorted at her suggestion, “ Well I don't think that's a great idea Seraphine, I don't want you to get hurt over nothing”
She laughed out at what I said and I stared at her, “ Well Lilian that's if you really do hit me yeah…so when I count to ten and you've not landed a hit, I would give you one hit and you must dodge or better still keep your face to get hit on”
“ you're just looking for a reason to hit me and you just found it “ I said turning my hands into a fist and getting ready for what I would face.
Seraphine smirked then rolled her neck and cracked her knuckles, “ That's more like it”
“ you actually look too excited for me to call this a training, if you want to beat me it's fine to say it okay”
Seraphine rolled her eyes, “ Come at me now !!”
I ran to her and threw a punch near her jaw and she drifted her face then it went on the air which almost made me to trip on a fucking air and I heard her snicker, oh she's loving this more than me.
“ C'mon Lilian give me your best is that all you've got “
I roared and ventured towards her with an angry scream and did as if I want to punch her but instead swang my elbow to hit her ribs, she was fast to see it then moved aside and my hand hit the wall beside me.
I think I scratched myself ‘cause this shit hurt like a bitch.
“Are you hurt..?”
“No, it's just a scratch.. I'm fine”
“Okay then, C'mon give me all you've got, learn how to not use full speed while coming at me and also keep your punch leveled, don't always stare at where you want to punch you already give the person idea of where you would land it, hear me”
I nodded my head and whipped out the sweats dripping from my face with my hands and wiped the remains off my clothes, “ Can I have some water please..”
Seraphine shook her head, “ No you can't, not until you throw a punch then you're free to have one”
“But I'm thirsty, I want to drink water please”
“Ah ah that's not going to work on me .. get your ass up right now and throw a punch, be fast Lilian!?”.
I stood up and wringled my wrist and stretched my legs, God I really need water.
I formed my hand into a punch and waited for the right time to throw it .
I stood at akimbo and stared at Seraphine while she just kept her hands at her back with an annoying looking smirk on her face.
She's just so annoying and a sadist too.
She raised her brow at me, “ you know I can hear your thoughts right ??”.
I rolled my eyes of course she does, she shook her head at me and I threw my first punch and she drifted aside making me throw it on the air instead.
I grumble and turned my hands into fist again, I'm getting dehydrated and I need some water but in other to get one I have to just hit her.
Easy to say but I can't even throw a punch which is started to get the best of me right now.
I threw another punch on her shoulder but she moved it aside with no extra strength just smooth moves.
“Seraphine you're cheating you're using your vampire strength and making me usey human strength to hit you, this is Soo unfair”
She puffed out an amused air and moved her hair aside, to think she wasn't even sweating where I'm here sweating like a pig over a single punch I haven't even landed.
“ I'm using my normal strength, you're just too slow and easy to read.. you move like a snail ”
“Did you just call me a snail, oh so you're bullying me”
“Don't even try to play the victim card right now, you bad - mouthed me first by saying I was cheating, that's rude “
I nodded, “ alright let's get on with it… and I've not heard you count out yet, “
“ well we are in your fourth punch I count based on how many punch you throw so if your punch get’s to ten and none hits me then it's my turn “
I swayed my hips and looked at her perfectly, before I would throw a punch would be really hard and not fast.
So if I want to do it I have to make sure she can't turn at all.
I threw I fist at her twice in a haste and she dodged it, the Impact made me to trip on my shoe, I didn't stand well and I fell face flat breathing hard, “ ah shit…”
Seraphine laughed at my posture, “ That's more like it !?”.
