Chapter 197 A Man Called Ryder {3}

Chapter 197 A Man Called Ryder {3}
A knock racked on the door as I was getting ready to leave the house to the hospital where Ryder described where his body was. I glanced at the wall clock, it was almost noon, and I certainly wasn't expecting any visitor.

One quick peep through the peephole, my stomach churned violently. Reluctantly, I forced my hand to pull the door open. Travis, my ex boyfriend stared wide eyed at me. Although his feet shuffled, his eyes remained fixated on me.

"What are you doing here?" My lips blurted out before he was given a chance to utter a word.

"Your mum said you were on holiday. So I decided to drop by," he raised a package in his hand. I figured it was red wine, my favorite.

"My mum?" I wrinkled my brows. Maybe, I wasn't following. I knew how my mum adored Travis. She even believed my best friend, Rylee had placed a charm on him to swirl his heart from me. Though, she never indulged me with how much Travis had hurt me, she still believed Travis might return to me 'when his eyes opened'. That was how she had put it.

"May I come in, please?" His hazel eyes pleaded.

A bile rose to my throat, it was heavy yet full of hate for him. What have him the right to reach out to my mother and request for my schedule?

"I am going to a place that requires my presence," I said impatiently, rolling my eyes.

"I promise I won't take much of your time," he uttered, raising both hands frantically.

His hairs wisped around his temples as I allowed him entrance. I watched him take the armchair before I moved over to the couch.

"What do you want?" I asked him.

"I broke up with Rylee four days back," he started, clasping his hands together as his gaze lowered.

My eyes widened. How was that my business? Was that really why he was here? It would be hilarious to think that I would elicit an atom of sympathy if he was here for that. He hurt me, broke our commitment and he deserved everything coming his way.

"Congratulations, but how is that any of my business?" I shrugged.

"Mylar," he forced himself up, walked up the distance that separated us and brought his knees to the floor. "I didn't realize how much I'd hurt you until Rylee opened my eyes," he grabbed my hands.

The air that gushed in was too chilly to be true, it was summer yet the air bit into my ears like million ants. Ryder was here, was he watching this scene?

The windows rattled and the curtains flapped, a swirl of air moved around my exposed arms. "Travis, I do not understand why you're doing this," I pushed my hands out of his grip.

Was Ryder jealous that Travis was here? He knew about Travis, and seeing him here must be agitating. Travis grabbed my hands as quickly as I shoved his hands away.

"I regret ever hurting you, Mylar. I caught Rylee sleeping with a colleague of mine in my own house. I couldn't bear it_ I thought about you and_ I want you back Mylar," he stuttered, squeezing my hands as he pulled close to kiss me.

'Oh, this was exactly why he was here', I thought to myself. The windows shook and my hand flew out to smack him hard on his face.

My eyes widened, my lips parted. One look at my hand, I knew I hadn't intended to hit Travis on the face, I knew it was Ryder's doing. Travis' eyes watered when I shifted my gaze to him.

The bottle of wine which Travis had placed on the table dropped to the floor, its sound breaking our intense stare.

My heart lurch frantically as the wind whisked again. "You need to leave, Travis," I jumped to my feet, placing a hand to my chest.

Travis' eyes scooted to the broken bottle, then back to my face. Maybe, he really wasn't catching on that something was entirely wrong with my house.

"But I want you back, Mylar," he stepped forward, catching my hand.

My breath hitched as the tension in the room rose. What the hell was wrong with Travis? Why was he being such a touchy all of a sudden? I tried to sidestep him but his strong arm circled my hand forcing my body to jam into his.

I let out a gasp. My eyes flicked to that of Travis'. "You have always been mine, mine," his tone was hard and rough. He pressed forward, trying to fix his mouth on mine.

I snapped my head to the side. "What are you doing, Travis? Travis, let me go," I shoved my hands to push him away, but his grip was firm and unrelenting.

He gripped my chin, his breath burned into my face as he lowered his lips. Suddenly, a whirl of wind bigger the previous hurl Travis and smashed him against the far corner of the room.

My heart was beating so fast that I couldn't breathe. My legs felt weak to move. "Ryder, please, don't do anything to him," my eyes burned as I mumbled to the wind. Tears coursed down my cheeks as I stared at Travis' sprawled body.

The side of his head had a trickle of blood to it, and he looked almost _ was he dead? No, he shouldn't be, my legs took a step.

Travis groaned, moving his hands then his legs followed. I sighed, watching Travis scramble to his feet.

"Your house_" he stopped as the window rattled again, "Mylar, your house is cursed." He finished, glancing at the flapping curtains.

"Leave, Travis while I'm being nice." I found my voice, ignoring the splitted wound at the side of his face.

Travis place a hand to his face, moved past me and yanked the door open. "Travis?" I called, stopping him.

He swirled around to face me. "Do not ever reach out to my family again." I warned him.

As he left, the wind slowed then died. I let out another sigh, then sprinted to the table when I noticed the letter. It was the fastest I had ever seen.

'If it weren't for your silent plea, Mylar. I would have dashed his head harder against the wall. No one touches you like I do, no one,' it read.

My body trembled, my lips raced out to my moist lips. I raced to my room, hoping perhaps I would get a glimpse of him. Snapping the shutters shut till the room was pitch dark, I grabbed a flashlight and placed it at the far corner of the room.

Will he show up?

Will I see him?

Although I had seen him the previous night, and we had made love all through the night. I wanted to see him again. He made my breath catch in my chest, made my thighs clench tightly in anticipation of what he would do to me.

"Do you know how you look?" He breezed him. My heart danced to the sound of his voice but he wasn't in the mirror.

"Where are you?" I asked, holding my back not to snap around the round.

"Why did you let him in, Mylar?" His voice was calm yet demanding.

"I thought he had something serious to say," my voice was almost a whisper.

"Seriously, Mylar? You know how much I detest another man touching you?" The breeze crept in, scalding my cheeks.

My body trembled, my nipples turned hard like bricks. "Peel off your clothes." He commanded.

"Where are you? I want to see you?" I begged, my lips quivering.

"You don't need to see me," his voice held a tinge of fury. He was mad at me. "I need you to stand bare before the mirror."

Silently, I did what he asked of me. Even as my breath hitched, I was turned on by the more thought that my body was his antidote to his fury.

"Shove your pinky finger into your pussy," he commanded.

I didn't ask questions. I shoved the finger and watched how my nipples aggressively squeeze hard.

"Now taste the juice from your finger," he pressed on.

I moaned as the finger slipped out. Placing the finger into my mouth, I sucked on it gently. "Do you taste that milky taste, Mylar?"

I nodded in affirmative. "Yes." I whispered.

"As my fury burns, that's how much I want to eat that pussy of yours."

I moaned, sucking my lower lips as the words sunk into me. If a man like Ryder who was present yet could turn me on, what more do I ask for?

I clamped my thighs together as I felt the wind tease my body. He was here, he was here. "Will you make love to me, Ryder?"

"No," came his reply, harsh and bitter.

My eyes spread wide in surprise. "Why?"

"Go meet my family," he said.

Why didn't he want to make love to me? I was wet, and I wanted a release badly. My body needed his lips all over my body, his hands caressing and his dick, oh Lord, his dick.

That alone was a tool to be adored, he knew how to thrust every inch of that remarkable object into my body.

"Will you make love to me when I'm back?" I asked, hoping that he grant me that request, atleast.
