Wilfred POV

I felt my face burn in anger, I just can't believe that Myra would betray me for the second time, and I foolishly fell for it.

“Are you still hurt”, my best friend, Richard, asked beside me. We were on our way to the good moon park, alpha Damien has been dating me a lot. Recently he sent the dead bodies of ten of my guards to me.

I looked at him wryly as I couldn't tell him my innermost feelings. He would tell me bluntly that he warned me against Myra, but I refused to listen.

“I am fine, I said with a slightly choked voice. Let's focus on our mission”. I said, keeping my face solemn.

On getting to the good moon park, the atmosphere was Serene and the park house was filled with tons of guards. I scoffed mockingly. Was he expecting us already? This just confirmed that we did have a mole in my park

“Welcome alpha Damien”. He greeted me, Richard and my third in command, the gamma. The beta was left to tend to the affairs of my pack and to watch Myra closely.

The environment seemed more friendly, more like a trap, and I felt my hairs rising suspecting everyone. But I needed to be smart.

I signalled for my bodyguards to come closer. Where is your alpha? I asked with a bass tone.

“Alpha Damien had asked us to take care of your needs and after that, you should join him in his chambers where he is having a party”.

“A party”, I asked slightly raising my brows, this wasn't making sense.

“Yes Alpha”

I looked towards Richard and his facial expression showed he was also suspicious of them.

Okay then, take us to our rooms and after that to the party, I would love to know what he had in store for us.

“Yes Alpha”, the senior guard I assumed, took us through several labyrinths and then to our rooms.

“Do you think this is a good idea”, I heard my gamma whisper beside me, he made my blood boil.

“How there you question the actions of your alpha”, I roared menacingly, passing aggression towards him.

“I am so sorry, your majesty, his wolf purred in fear”.

We were soon taken to our rooms and I suggested we all stayed in one room in case of an emergency.

Richard and I entered into damien’s chambers. While I ordered the gamma to stay outside.

The party was booming, girls danced wearing scanty clothes and men used women as they pleased.

We soon sighted alpha Damien sitting with a bunch of scantily dressed women. He had a sly smile on his face as soon as he saw us.

“Well, well, well, who do we have here? To what do I owe this visit, Wilfred”. He dared call me by my mare name.

I felt my wolf start to become restless, he didn't like the disrespect. “Let's end this motherfucker right now”. He sneered.

I pushed him far away from my mind, I didn't want him taking over.

“We are not here to cause trouble, Damien, I retorted”.

“And who said I wanted trouble, Damien chortled. Let's just have some fun and then talk like two friends”.

I looked at him dead in the eyes. Damien is well known for his mischievousness, but anyway we must play by his rules in order for things to go as planned.

I looked at Richard and nodded at him, so he grabbed a few girls to have fun.

I on the other hand just wanted to be alone. Myra had not only broken my heart but had also taken my zeal to find other women attractive.

So I wanted nothing but a drink to burn my throat. I had taken five bottles already, when a blond lady suddenly came towards me.

“Hi alpha, why don't I entertain you a little”. She said, rubbing my shoulders.

I had wanted to throw her off me, but then again my wolf max needed something to bring his anger down.

So I dragged her on the impulse of my wolf.

“Whine”, I whispered to her ears. My wolf max almost takes over my voice.

What, she asked like a novice, and there was something familiar about her eyes.

“I want to see you whine against me. I repeated with a hoarse voice.

I noticed her eyes widened, and her breath hitched as I touched her breast, it was like she didn't expect me to easily give into her seduction.

I grabbed her tightly, feeling her scent of innocence.

Damien could be seen heaving furiously already, and I smiled mischievously at him.

“You really think you were sly, didn't you. I know how much you love Damien, and I saw the familiar pain in your eyes before you came to me.

“And I also know he sent you here”. You can't outsmart the smart. I whispered into her ears.

“What did he want”? I asked, sending shivers to her spine. And finally Damien couldn't take it anymore as he stood up.

“Seize him”. He ordered his guards at me, and I could only smirk at his foolishness.

I immediately brought out my dagger and placed the cold edges of my dagger at the lady’s neck. Richard had already ordered the gamma to bring in my warriors.

“Look around you, Damien, every corner has been surrounded. Let's call for a peace treaty”.

“You have never been so smart. If you knew me well, then you will never send a woman to me. Women are my special beings and I can easily navigate them”. I emphasized.

“Even if you killed my best warriors, let's stop fighting. I brought my hands forward, expecting him to gladly accept my proposal if he didn't want a grand massacre.

But his next word brought rage into the atmosphere.

“Never, Wilfred. you don't get to call for peace treaty now”.

“Not after you raped and killed my sister”.
