Chapter XXIV
**In the sands of time, days slip away,
Weeks turn to dust, a fleeting display,
Hours and minutes, they come and go,
But the pain within, it continues to grow.
Seconds tick by, like drops in a stream,
Yet the ache persists, a haunting theme,
For time cannot erase the wounds we bear,
It only serves as a reminder, unfair.
So let us rise above the hands of time,
Embrace our scars, let them be a sign,
That through the trials, we'll find our way,
To brighter days where pain will sway.**

Determined to uncover the truth and protect her heart from further pain, Seraphina devises a clever plan to confront Alexander about his infidelity.
Despite being his beloved, he was leaving her alone in their apartment every day, causing her great distress. She couldn't help but feel upset and neglected.
She curled up on the sofa, trying to make sense of what was happening and wondering who she could trust anymore.
The situation seemed bleak, Seraphina refused to let fear dictate her decisions or break her spirit.
Days went by, and Seraphine tried to confront him about it. About what she had saw.
Since that day that she followed him their day to day life has not been same.
The more Seraphina contemplated, the more she felt that staying silent about Alexander's infidelity was her best approach. Instead of revealing her knowledge, she would take matters into her own hands and exact her own revenge.
Every morning at breakfast, she would pry information from him about the guards and their routines. She only acted concerned for Lily as a means of appearing innocent and kind.
Alex, it feels like you haven't been near me since we got here and every day you seem to have gone somewhere. The classes haven't started yet, so where have you been going?
Alexander looked at her with a cold expression, his eyes turning away from hers almost immediately. "It's none of your concern, Seraphina," he replied stiffly. "I have some things I need to take care of."
Seraphina felt a wave of anger rising inside her. How dare he speak to her like that? She had given him everything, and this was how he repaid her? She clenched her fists, determined to make him pay for his betrayal.
"Well, I care, Alexander," she retorted, her voice sharp. "I care a lot. And I think you owe me an explanation. Where have you really been going?"
Alexander hesitated for a moment, his eyes flickering over her face. Then, with a sigh, he gave in. "Fine," he said, his voice low. "I'll tell you. But you won't like it."
He inhaled a long breath before beginning to talk. Seraphina felt her heart hurting and full of rage as she listened. I have been carrying out regal obligations from afar in order to fight the upcoming war. She knew he was lying. He had been doing other things to.
She smiled kindly and asked, "Can I join you next time? After all, I will be the Queen soon."
Alexander raised his eyebrows in surprise, clearly not expecting her to ask this. "I'm not sure if it's safe for you to come, Seraphina," he replied, his voice cautious. "The war could be dangerous, and I don't want you to get hurt."
Seraphina stood up from the sofa, her eyes blazing with determination. "I can take care of myself," she said firmly. "I want to be by your side, Alexander. Please let me go with you."
For a moment, Alexander looked unsure. Then, he nodded slowly. "All right," he said finally. "But you have to promise me that you'll stay close to me at all times. I won't let anything happen to you."
Seraphina smiled, feeling a sense of satisfaction as she realized that her plan was working. She would go with Alexander on his next trip, and she would make sure that he paid for his betrayal.
As Seraphina walked away, she felt a rush of excitement.
She had always been quick with her plans, but this time, she knew it would take more than that. It would require patience and careful planning to ensure that everything went according to her plan. Alexander would never know what hit him.
As the days went by, Seraphina and Alexander prepared for their trip.
They packed their bags and made the necessary arrangements for their journey. All the while, Seraphina was keeping a close eye on Alexander's every move, trying to find any clues that would betray his infidelity.
Finally, the day of their departure arrived. They boarded a carriage and set off on their journey. Seraphina watched as the landscape passed by, lost in her thoughts. She knew that this was her chance to get revenge on Alexander, but she also knew that it would be dangerous.
As they arrived at their destination, Seraphina felt her pulse quicken. She could see the fear in
Alexander's eyes, but she didn't let it distract her from her plan. They were led to a grand castle where they were greeted by the king and queen. Seraphina played her role as the future queen perfectly, smiling and nodding at all the right moments.
But as the night fell, Seraphina excused herself from the festivities, claiming fatigue. She headed to her room and waited until she was sure that Alexander was asleep before sneaking out of her room.
As she made her way down the dimly lit dark corridors, her footsteps echoing in the silence, a sense of unease and curiosity, her heart pounding with anticipation.
The air was thick with an intoxicating blend of ancient knowledge and enchantment.
She finally reached the end of the hall and found herself standing in front of a door that she knew led to Alexander's secret chamber.
She slowly opened the door, and her heart skipped a beat as she saw what was inside.
The room was filled with weapons and maps, and in the corner, she saw a chest. She hesitated for a moment before opening it.
With unsteady hands, she pushed open the heavy door, not knowing what to expect.
Her heart skipped a beat as she stepped into the hidden room, her eyes widening in both awe and concern at what lay before her.
Intrigued yet apprehensive, her mind raced with questions: A rush of excitement surged through her veins as she realized the magnitude of the secret that lay within this hidden chamber.
