Chapter 129: The Bra is a Deadly Weapon

Chapter 129: The Bra is a Deadly Weapon

The head nurse looked scary as hell, but what was even worse was her freakish strength.

Emily got blindsided and knocked flat on her back by the force. She slipped and crashed behind the door. The head nurse, with her blood-stained mouth, let out this crazy howl. Her hands clamped down on Emily's shoulders, and even though her head was tilted, she still found a way to feed from another angle.

A folding chair was jammed between them.

"Stay back! Get away! Get away, you damn monster!"

Emily kicked like mad on the ground, struggling like her life depended on it, her face twisted in fear.

This close call, both in terms of shock and the brush with death, was way worse than when she hid in the closet.

She heard chaotic noises from the next room and the sound of the door getting pounded on.

The zombies in rooms 21 and 20 sensed a living person. They were hyped and wanted to feast, but couldn't get through the door that was tied shut with stockings.

The head nurse's chest pressed against Emily through the back of the folding chair, her hands tearing at Emily's clothes. Emily used all her strength to grab the head nurse's hair with her left hand and yank it hard to the side.

It was the only thing she could do to keep the nurse's teeth off her.

But the head nurse was too strong, and Emily had no clue how long she could hold out.

Her breath was rank, the strong smell of blood was unbearable for Emily.

And it wasn't just that.

At this moment, Emily finally got why the head nurse always wore a mask.

Damn it, it wasn't some medical cleanliness thing; it was because this woman loved to eat stinky foods. The nasty smells coming from her stomach were like a biochemical weapon, way worse than any virus.

The backpack was right next to her, just a head turn away.

But Emily couldn't free her hands to grab it.

"Help me out. Isabella, get out here, come help me!" Emily tried to move her body away from the head nurse's head, shouting hoarsely.

At this point, she couldn't care about much else. Even if her voice attracted other zombies, it was better than getting eaten alive by the head nurse.

"Isabella, did you hear me? Get out here and help me!" Emily felt her strength fading. Her only hope now was James and Isabella, especially the latter.

The closet door opened, and Isabella crawled out, stumbling into room 21.

Her hair was covered with cobwebs and dust. The buttons on her nurse's uniform were undone, showing a lot of her chest, making her look like she had just been assaulted.

"What, what should I do?" Isabella's face was full of panic. She really wanted to help, but her legs were shaking badly, and her hands were too nervous to control.

Emily's left hand gripped the head nurse's head tightly, her eyes bloodshot: "There's a knife in my bag. Take it out and chop off her head!"

She looked fierce now, like a butcher in a market. If she had a cigarette in her mouth, the image would be complete.

Isabella saw the backpack lying next to Emily.

The door and the folding chair blocked the way, and the head nurse, who was babbling incoherently, was lying on top of Emily. The backpack was inconveniently placed against the wall. Although Isabella heard Emily's words and knew what to do, looking at the blood-stained room and the head nurse, who was scarier than a violent lunatic, she couldn't move her feet.

"I, I can't reach it!"

Isabella cried as she reached for the backpack. But before her fingers could touch it, the ferocious head nurse scared her into pulling back.

Emily felt she was about to collapse. She cursed loudly and roared at Isabella: "Get the knife and chop off her head. What are you waiting for?"

Isabella started crying: "I, I can't reach it. I'm too scared!"

This kind of thing should be done by a man.

Women, especially girls of this age, should be lying in strong arms, enjoying safety and warmth.

"Damn it, I'm going to die! I'm going to die!"

Emily was almost driven mad.

She struggled to fend off the head nurse's attack, shouting roughly: "Help me. No matter what you do, just help me!"

There was only one zombie in the room.

To Emily, dealing with a nearly crippled zombie should be simple. Besides, she had the head nurse's head in her grip, so the nurse couldn't threaten Isabella. But this pretty girl from her dorm, despite her good looks, lacked brains and courage.

It seemed that the saying was true: some women really are all bust and no brains.

Damn it, am I really going to die here today?

Just when Emily thought all was lost, Isabella did something she couldn't understand.

She took off her nurse's uniform.

So, Isabella just shrugged her shoulders back, slipped her arms out of the loose nurse's uniform, and then, with a quick move, reached behind her back and unhooked her bra.

In a flash, her whole upper body was out there, exposed to the sunlight and air.

Emily's breath caught, and her eyes went wide.

What the hell was this chick trying to do?

Was she seriously thinking about doing that kind of thing with a zombie?

But that made zero sense! The head nurse was a woman, and even as a zombie, she didn't have the kind of equipment for that.

While Emily's brain was short-circuiting, Isabella had already slipped her nurse's uniform back on. She grabbed the straps of her bra with both hands, using one of the triangular pieces of fabric to tightly wrap around the head nurse's mouth. Then, she pulled the bra tight, quickly tying a knot behind the head nurse's head, and yanked hard, her left foot pressing against the nurse's back.

Emily heard a clear cracking sound from the head nurse's neck and saw her head twist backward at a freaky angle.

Her eyes turned completely white, and muffled howls came from her mouth, which was now tightly covered by the bra. Isabella had some serious strength, or maybe the head nurse's throat was already messed up. Either way, the final connection between the head and neck was completely severed, and the steel-like grip on Emily's shoulders slowly loosened.

Emily gasped for air and struggled to get up from the ground.

She grabbed the kukri knife from her backpack and hacked at the head nurse's head on the floor, splitting it in half like a watermelon.

Most people couldn't do that.

But the knife was sharp, and Emily had been holding in her rage for too long. She needed to let it out, and this strike was way stronger than usual.

Isabella hugged herself, shaking like a scared rabbit, crouching in the corner.

All of this was way beyond her normal understanding.

Besides, just a few seconds ago, she had torn off someone's head.

Emily glanced at Isabella's almost naked upper body, rummaged through the closet for a clean hospital gown, and tossed it over, saying calmly, "Put this on, and hurry up."

Isabella didn't like hospital gowns. She always felt that wearing those blue-striped clothes made her look like a prisoner. But now, she couldn't care less. She quickly changed and stuck close to Emily as they hurried out of the room.

The doors of the two adjacent rooms were still getting pounded on. The glass observation windows at the top of the doors were smeared with blood, and grotesque zombie faces kept popping up. Especially when the two girls walked by, the zombies went even crazier, slamming into the doors with more force.

Emily held Isabella's hand, skillfully hopping over the bloodstains on the floor. Even though Isabella's bra move to take down the head nurse was both hilarious and confusing, Emily felt that, for that alone, she should help Isabella get out of this mess.

She didn't ditch the backpack. There were still a lot of useful things inside.

Emily felt her body shaking badly. She quickly took out a few candies from her pocket, unwrapped them, and popped them into her mouth.

She hadn't eaten lunch. Maybe it was low blood sugar, or maybe her body had burned too much energy. She felt that if she didn't get some sugar soon, she might pass out.

Isabella looked fearfully at the shaking door of room 21, tugged on Emily's clothes, and asked shakily, "Emily, what do we do now?"

Emily took out her phone, glanced at the screen with no signal, and whispered, "Let's wait. James should be on his way. When he gets here, we'll leave together."

As she spoke, she looked around cautiously and muttered to herself, "You need a weapon."

This floor had fire hydrants but no fire axes. Emily remembered there was one at the stairwell on the floor above. But if they ran into a bunch of zombies there, it would be like walking into a trap.

Her eyes fell on the medical tools in the nurse's station cart.

Emily picked up a large pair of forceps and used tape to bind the two sides tightly together. From the side, it looked like a slender steel spike. She gripped the forceps, made a few practice thrusts in the air, and handed them to Isabella.

"Use this for now!"

Looking at Isabella, who was nervously gripping the forceps with both hands, Emily couldn't help but laugh: "At least this is better than your stockings and bra. Don't worry! We won't die."

James came rushing up the stairs as Emily and Isabella were discussing how to deal with the zombies in rooms 21 and 20.

They had been pounding on the doors non-stop.

"We need to get out of here quickly."

James was covered in blood. He had taken down a dozen zombies on his way up from the basement. Despite his skillful dodging, some of the dirty blood had splattered on him.
