Chapter 10
Samantha's POV:
I heard the doorbell go off and quickly fixed my hair to go open it. I had no idea why I was feeling nervous in the first place. It was just a date with a guy. A guy who was making me feel all kinds of emotions that I have never felt before. I took a deep breath and walked towards my door.
"Okay, this is it. No turning back." I spoke to myself and opened the door to reveal a dashingly handsome Nate. He was wearing a freaking suit which looked like it was tailor-made for him and he had his hands at the back. I couldn't help but trail my eyes all over his body.
Dear lord, he was so damn hot.
"Wow... you look...Phew!" he breathed out, adjusting his neck tie a little. I was wearing a red sheath dress that reached till my thighs and wore minimal make-up. I couldn't help but blush at his comment.
Fuck me, I was blushing like a little girl.
"Come in," I rolled my eyes and held the door wide open. He stepped inside and I immediately shut the door behind him.
"What do you have in your hand?" I asked out of curiosity. I had no idea what he had planned for our date but I was excited already.
"Ummm...well...I got you some flowers. I wasn't sure if you liked them, but I got them anyway, and it's okay if you hate 'em, you can throw them away, but—" I placed my finger on his lips, shutting him up. He was so cute being all nervous just like me.
"You really do talk too much," I whispered, stepping closer and he held out the flowers to me.
White daises! Not a bad choice!
"Not my favorite but it's really pretty. Thank you," I laughed, taking it from his hands and smelling them.
"What's your favorite then?" he asked, scratching the back of his head.
"Tulips," I replied shyly, tucking my hair behind my ear and he smiled at me fondly.
"Duly noted, Ms. Perez."
"Let me take care of these." I pointed to the flowers and walked towards the kitchen to fill the vase with water. I tried to remember the last time someone ever got me flowers which was never.
A part of me was excited and happy at the way things were going but I was scared to be happy because it never really ends in a good way. I tried to fight my feelings for Nate and convinced myself that it was never going to happen but somehow that man worked his charm on me. I just wanted to let myself loose and give it a try for once.
"You were gone for a while," I felt him behind me and my heart started to race immediately. Before I could turn around and respond, he wrapped his arms around my waist and moved my hair to one side.
"I hope the date isn't in our apartment," I let out a nervous chuckle as my entire body was burning up with desire.
"No but that would have been a good idea," he murmured against my neck, making me bite my lips to hold back my moan.
Sweet Jesus!
"The night isn't over yet." I whispered, pushing my back against him and his hands ran all over my sides. I squeezed my thighs together as I felt the wetness pooling between my legs. He turned me around swiftly and pushed me against the counter.
"You have no idea what you do to me, baby girl," he spoke with our forehead touching, "As much as I want to take you right here right now, I also want to get to know you." he caressed my cheeks and a small smile crept on my face.
"Let's get going then," I smirked and pushed him away, earning a chuckle from him.
We were soon on the road and I still had no idea where he was taking me. My guess was some fancy restaurant because he was wearing a suit.
"Where are we going?" I asked for the millionth time and he shook his head.
"Patience, baby girl." he spoke, not taking his eyes off the road. I let out a huge sigh and looked outside the window.
"Ouch, are you feeling bored already?" he asked with a small chuckle, making me laugh.
"Not yet, Mr. Wilson, but I might be if you keep driving for another 20 minutes." I groaned, falling back on the seat and he gave me an amusing look.
"Such an impatient little thing you are, aren't you?" he shook his head with a small smile.
"Anyone would be," I scoffed and looked at him from the side. He had a beautiful face with that perfect jawline all the girls gushed about, along with the perfect beard, which was not too big nor too little, just the right amount. Even though we fucked each other already, I couldn't help but wonder how he would look without the suit.
If our drunken sex felt so fucking good, I wonder how good our sober sex would feel like.
"Are you listening?" he asked, interrupting my dirty thoughts.
"Huh?" I blinked, coming out of my trance.
"Ooohhh, were you checking me out?" He raised his eyebrows with a sly look on his face.
"What? No! Shut up," I muttered, peeling my gaze away from his stupid hot face.
"We are here. Come on," he laughed, unbuckling the seat belt. It was vividly dark outside and I noticed that we were in the middle of nowhere. I couldn't see any restaurants or buildings.
"Are you planning to kill me out here?" I joked as I got out of his car.
"Yup, that's the plan. Take my hand." he held out his hand and I quickly grabbed it. We started walking between a pathway and I could feel trees and plants hitting my arm. All I could see was darkness around us.
"Turn over here," he pointed to my right and we kept walking.
"Are we going hiking or something?" I whispered as the air around us was heavy with silence. I couldn't hear the traffic or the any other sound.
Oh god! Where was he talking me?
I'm going to die.
"Nate, I swear I'm going to kill you if this is some kind of a prank for being mean to you earlier." I hissed and he rumbled up in laughter.
"God, that would have been funny, but trust me, it's not a prank," he said through his laughter, and I believed him.
"And we are here," he moved aside and my jaw dropped to the floor at the sight in front of me.
Holy Fuck!
There was a wooden bench with a picnic basket and wine and some other stuff laid out on the table. The entire set up was next to a lake with fairy lights all around the place, taking my breath away. It was beautiful and thoughtful. I couldn't believe he did all this for me.
Do guys even do this kind of stuff nowadays?
"Did you do all this?" I asked in shock and surprise.
"Yeah, I was wondering what a girl like you might like, and I know that restaurants can be really boring. Then, I thought of arranging like a little picnic," he pulled me closer, gazing at me, "Here, without any distraction and out in the wild. Kind of rustic," he explained with a smile. I was speechless and tried to process everything. This was so perfect. I do like the quiet and serene atmosphere. It looked so romantic and intimate.
"Nate, this is beautiful." I finally opened my mouth to spoke and he let out the breath that I didn't know he was holding.
"Oh, thank god. I was really worried," he breathed out.
"Well, I love it." I giggled and walked towards our little picnic, with him following me closely behind.
"So, Ms. Perez, is it safe for me to assume that I have impressed the hell out of you?" he called out, making me turn around. He looked so handsome under the fairy lights that all I wanted to do was pull and kiss him so badly. Even though our date was yet to start, I was sure of one thing.
I was in deep trouble!
