Russell’s P.O.V.
I had just about enough of Gilbert telling lies about Remy, it can ruin her reputation that she worked too hard on keeping intact. What with Harvey, Jerica and her father all going after her! I mean Harvey wanted to use my sister as a damn sex toy, no one disrespects my sister and gets away with it. That is why I had go over and say something to him and I can’t believe the new guy Tony, if it weren’t for Jess hiring him I would be firing him myself along with Gilbert.
“Oh, look Tony, it’s the big bad older brother to the rescue!” I took a hold of him, and I walked him to Jessica’s office. (Hopefully, my sister isn’t in here to hear what they have been saying about her.) {Mad, grab Tony and escort him to Jess’ office please!}
{Sure!}
As I burst through the door with him, my wish isn’t granted because there is my sister at her desk working. She looks up at me and noticing Gilbert she sighs.
“What did he do now?” She asked.
“Someone else is coming in for the party. Where’s Jessica?”
“Talking to her brother. Does this need her attention?”
“Most definitely!”
“I got him what are we going to do with these two? You didn’t bring Jericho in too?”
“Why was he in on this too?”
“I don’t know if he was in on it, but I heard the conversation that he was having with Jericho.”
“Text me the details.” Knowing why, he does what I asked of him and moments later I get a full paragraph of their conversation. “Remy, can you ask Jericho to come in here, contact Jess and find some work out on the floor to do, I don’t want you to have to hear this.”
“Ok.” She says a little bit confused on why I asked her to leave her own office. If I didn’t think it to be necessary I wouldn’t have asked her to leave at all. Jericho came in and coming over to Maddox and me, he started to speak.
“So, you needed to see me?”
“Yes, I want to know about your conversation with Gilbert.”
“Oh ok, he was ranting about how Remy cheated on him with Maddox right in front of him, and how he really did like her even tough he was in the middle of trying to get Candy to go home with him. He also called her a slut for doing so an that he would get her back for the humiliation that she caused him.”
“WHY YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SHIT, HOW DARE YOU TRY AND RUIN HER REPUTATION!” Maddox says as he goes over to Gilbert and starts to pound his fist into his face.”
“Maddox wait, this is where I come in. Wait till you hear what Gilbert and Tony was saying about her.”
“What is that?” He asked as he steps away from Gilbert to listen to what I have over heard.
“Tony was upset because you are going out with her now, so she isn’t on the market anymore for him to get a piece of her. Gilbert though convinced him that the still had a chance say that if she cheated on him with you then she will definitely cheat on Maddox with him!”
“WHY YOU!!!” Was all he said before he started to beat them, right at this moment Jessica walks in.
“ENOUGH!!! STOP RIGHT THERE!!! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?”
“Sorry Jess, they decided to try and ruin Remy’s reputation, so I decided to teach them a lesson.”
“why are they eve still doing here, why didn’t you fire them?”
“Because you hired both of them, so ii wasn’t sure if I could.”
“Yes you can. I may have hired Gillbert before you and your sister started here, but you run the floor meaning all bartenders answer to you. You do the hiring and the firing. I only hired Tony because you took a few days off after Remy left town. So, go ahead I will give you the honor of firing these two assholes!”
“THE BOTH OF ARE FIRED, GAHTER YOUR THINGS AND LEAVE YOUR UNIFORMS HERE! MADDOX AND JERICHO PLEASE ESCORT THESE TWO ASSHOLES OUT OF HERE! THE BOTH OF ARE NOT WELCOME BACK AND IF YOU DO WE WILL HAVE YOU ARRESTED.”
“BOY FUCKING OYUR SISTER SURE WASN’T WORTH ALL THIS HASTLE, NOW BECAUSE OF HER I AM OUT OF A JOB!!!” He yells at me and Jess.
“NO! YOU GOT YOURSELF FIRED! NOW GET OUT OF MY FACE BEFORE I LET MADDOX LOOSE ON YOU!!!” With that they both went quietly as they were escorted out of the office by Jericho and Maddox. The office door opens up, and Remy peaks her head in.
“Is it safe to come back in here?” She asked looking around only to find me and Jessica here.
“’Yes.” I answered her.
“Why did I have to leave anyway?”
“You asked her to leave her own office?” Jess questioned me.
“Yes, I didn’t want her to hear what was being said.
“I understand that, but she should have the right to know.” She says as she leaves the office.
“Where are you going?” I asked her.
“To tell Aston what went down tonight.” I nodded my head in acknowledgement.
“Well?”
“Ok, but you are not going to like it. Maddox, Jett and I over heard Gilbert talking shit about you, first to Jericho who just brushed it off, then to the new guy Tony. He had Tony convinced that since you cheated on him with Maddox that you would cheat on Maddox with Tony. It sounds like Tony has been wanting to get into your pant for a long-time sis. I fired them and right now Jericho and Maddox is escorting them out of the bar. They are no longer welcomed here and if you do see them call the cops.”
“Why does this keep happening to be Russ?”
“Well, Aston was really not that bad, he just loved you too much to the point where he became obsessed with you. Donavon he really loved you too but went about protecting you from his ex the wrong way, everyone is saying that he should have just killed her right there. We don’t even have to discuss Gilbert, but we will discuss that low life Clark who you went out with in college, now he was a prize worth having.”
“What do you mean?” Jess asked me.
“He was a lot like Gilbert, he asked her out, cheated on her the same day. She wouldn’t believe me when I told her, but he was her first boyfriend. He kept cheating on her and the day after she gave him what he wanted, which she was trying to hold out on till she was married, but he convinced her that he would propose to her and they would get married after college. Anyway, the next morning he had some other bitch pined up against the lockers and she finally caught him and found out what a real scum he was.”
