Chapter 92

Ambrosia POV:

His eyes looked wild but hollowed out, skin was pale, dark circles under his eyes like he hasn't slept in months. "Well we knew your dad would spill our plan so we made another one after I cut your mom's link off." Pythia replied, tilting her head to the side. "The collar is a nice touch. Perfect for a mutt like you." I said, making him look at me. "It is a shame your child still breathes. That's alright, all things must come to an end." Tyler replied with a smirk. "Yes, they do. Like your mothers life. It is a shame I wasn't there to watch her fall lifeless to the ground." I replied, winking at him. He jumped off the ground and ran towards me but I didn't flinch. There wasn't an ounce in him that scared me. "Do not talk about her." Tyler growled and I laughed. "Oh, I can and I will, you see when her link was cut off do you know what it did to her? Let me tell you how she fell to the ground screaming in pain, bleeding because she wasn't strong enough to withstand the pain. Weak. Just like you." I replied, stepping closer to the door. His face was changing colors and it was fun to see. He was so busy focusing on me that he didn't see the needle stabbing him in the neck. He stumbled back feeling where Pythia had injected him. "What the hell have you done?!" Tyler roared before his body started to sway.

We all watched him hit the ground hard and I smiled. "Where is Leia?" I asked, looking around. "She is trying to figure out how to pull his wolf from him but needs to figure out if his wolf is sane or not." Alley replied. "Alright well let's go and check on the others and see what Julie has to say. They will be out for a while." Pythia said, finally looking away from Tyler. I felt her hand rest on my shoulder before we were teleported inside of the hospital. I looked around to see Trevor staring out of the window. I walked over to him and stood beside him. "How is she?" I asked. "She is okay, in a coma. The doctor said to wait for the witch queen to get here because it is magical." Trevor replied. I could hear the sadness in his voice. "Well then I guess it is a good thing we came together." Pythia replied, making us turn around. "It is nice to meet you Trevor, I'm Pythia." She added with a small smile. Trevor bowed his head, "Thank you for coming. It is an honor to meet you." Trevor replied. "Let's go and have a look." Pythia said, walking towards the door. Ava and Starsha laid in beds next to each other. "I've done all I can. Vitals are good, no internal wounds or anything but he spoke about the warning blast and I thought it would be best to wait for you." Julie said. "I can feel it rolling off of them. Thank you Julie." Pythia replied.

She walked over and sat on the edge of the bed before she placed a hand on Avas forehead. "She is a powerful young thing. She used more of her magic so Starsha wouldn't be as bad." Pythia said, looking at us. She leaned down and started whispering a chant. The air shifted in the room, a slight wind brushed against my face and I noticed Pythias veins were turning black. "Pythia!" Lillith said, grabbing her before they disappeared. "What the hell was that.." I whispered before I heard Ava gasp and cough. Trevor ran to her side and I walked over to Starsha who just looked confused. "Where am I?" Ava asked. "You are safe, in the hospital my dear. How are you feeling?" I asked. "Confused, massive migraine." Ava replied. "And thirsty." Starsha added. "I'll get Julie." I replied standing up. "Where is she?" Tye asked looking frantic. "I don't know, Lillith showed up and took her somewhere. What is going on?" I asked. "When she pulls magic like that she becomes a ticking time bomb. I felt it rush through her." Tye replied, looking around. "Julie, they are awake." I called out grabbing Tye by the arm and pulling him in the room. "Let's just wait here for her or Lillith, I'm sure she is fine. What do you feel?" I asked. "Tense, frantic, relief." Tye replied, relaxing his shoulders. "Then that means she is fine." I whispered before Pythia and Lillith teleported back into the room.

Tye ran to her and wrapped his arms around her. "What happened?" I asked, looking at Lillith. "When we absorb too much magic at once we have to get far away to release it back into the ground. If we don't, we could hurt a lot of people." Lillith replied. "And you felt her taking the magic?" I asked. "We all can. Think of magic within the coven like one big link. She is our queen and our magic comes from her and the others, so when a surge like that happens we feel a lot of adrenaline. Only Pythia does it though." Lillth replied and I nodded my head. I thought I knew everything when it came to their magic but it seems I just learned something new today. "I'll give you a moment with them, I need to find Xander. Trevor, I will see you in a bit." I said smiling at them before I walked back out of the room. I'm sure the girls had a lot of questions and Julie didn't like when a bunch of us were crowding the room. I need to regroup with my guardians for the time being and make sure we are all still on the same page with everything.
