Chapter 93
Pythia POV:
I was kneeling on my legs panting like a dying mammoth. "A little warning the next time, yeah?" Lillith said, making me look over my shoulder. ''It was unexpected." I muttered. "What happened?" Lillith asked. "She was in a coma, she used too much for the warning blast and her body couldn't handle it." I replied. "Isn't there another girl as well?" Lillith asked. "Yes, Ava started it and used it in a way so that Starsha wouldn't really be hurt by the aftermath of it all.'' I replied. "Mm, well let's get back and see how they are doing." Lillith said, placing a hand on my shoulder when I finally stood back to my feet. I blinked a few times and looked around before a pair of arms wrapped around me holding me tight. I breathed in his scent, it was calming and relaxing. "Are you okay?" Tye whispered. I stepped back and smiled at him. "I'm okay." I replied. "I'll give you a moment with them, I need to find Xander. Trevor, I will see you in a bit." Ambrosia said, gaining my attention. She smiled softly before she walked out of the room and I turned to see three pairs of eyes staring at me. "I'll let Julie look you both over and then you may ask me whatever you want." I said softly, stepping back to let Julie do what she needed to. "So what now?" Tye asked. "Well, I'm sure they have a lot of questions so I'll be here for a minute. Have you seen Brandon or Leia?" I asked. "Not since we were in the cells, I think they are trying to figure out what to do next. Alley has given them the right to choose both of their punishments." Tye replied.
I nodded my head, There was no doubt that death would be suited but Leia wants her revenge. "I see a fight happening." I said. "Me too, I think Elijah will suffer but I'm not exactly sure what they will have in mind for him. Leia will most definitely want to beat Tyler to death." Tye replied easily. "Can't say I blame her on that one. We all have gotten our revenge that way if you think about it but, it isn't so much revenge as it is redemption." I said softly thinking of my own battle that is yet to come. The more I thought about it the more it frustrated me. Ambrosia had to deal with their peasant for a king and I now have to deal with my mother but it made me wonder who Alley and Stephen would have to face. "Wait.." I whispered. "What? I know you are thinking about something." Tye replied. "It's all connected." I said quickly. "What is?" Tye asked. "Us and the people over sea, it's all connected to us. Go tell Ambrosia to really dig in to that guys life, anything and everything she can find." I said quickly. "Pythia, my queen what are you talking about?" Tye asked, resting his hands on my shoulders. "Think, you didn't realize any similarities to that guy and Ambrosia? Who does he remind you of? Really put some thought into it." I said, pushing him to think. It took me a minute to realize who he looked like and how Ambrosia hasn't thought about it shocks me. "Oh hell.." Tye muttered making the connection. "Where is Stephen's family? Have they found any of the cousins?" I asked. "Not that I know of. You don't think.." Tye replied trailing off. "I do, go tell them and tell them we need to meet at Alleys tonight and get Bobby to have the family tree for Ambrosia brought over as well." I said.
Tye kissed my forehead before he ran out of the door and I turned to the others. "They will be fine, whatever you did really helped the women. Good job on that. They still need to take it easy though." Julie said and I nodded my head. "Thank you, I will see you later." I replied. As soon as Julie was out of the room I looked over and smiled. "You think Hervoux is related to the queen." Trevor deadpanned. "I have my theory, we don't know anything just yet." I replied. "They do look a lot alike. I did hear about her challenge with her father, it sounded brutal." Trevor said. "Because it was brutal. What she went through and what she had to endure, was anyones worst nightmare. With that being said, all the anger that built up burst out. She discovered who she was always meant to be and with the help of her brother she got her redemption." I replied with a soft smile. "You all have had battles." Ava whispered. "Yes, we have. It wasn't easy and we all had to come together, learn from each other and trust each other and here we are today. One big family." I laughed. "We were always told you all were ruthless. The stories we were told were meant to keep us all away." Starsha said. "Well, Ambrosia was probably the worst out of all of us but we go about things in different ways. What did they tell you?" I asked curiously. "That Ambrosia was as hard as stone, there isn't a mercy bone in her body. She would kill without explanation and kill her whole family just to take her position as queen." Ava whispered.
I was watching her aura and it was a mixture of confusion and fright and I smiled. "Well, she was as hard as stone at one point and she didn't have mercy on those who didn't deserve it. She has a big heart and genuinely cares about her people. If she has to murder to protect us she will without a blink of an eye. She did once over me." I replied. "She did? What happened?" Starsha asked and I smiled wider. "Well, years ago our ways as witches were a bit old fashioned. We had elders that made the rules and when I went against those rules because I wanted a union with everyone after the first war there was some push back. One elder decided to threaten the life of me and Apollo and well she killed her on the spot. No room for apologies or anything. She takes protection very seriously." I replied and I watched their shocked expression freeze on their faces. "As a guardian Trevor, she has high expectations and her brother Xander who leads them has the same." I said more seriously. "Did you really kill your mother?" Starsha asked quickly. "I did, or I thought I did. The woman you saw over there with the boy.. We have discovered that she is my mother alive and well." I replied. "Makes sense, you guys look a lot alike. No offense or anything." Ava said. "None taken, I killed her once before and I'll do it again. This time it isn't so much about my redemption. It's more about my children." I replied. "Because she wants them dead? We overheard some things." Ava said.
