Chapter 144 Hundred And forty four
Chapter 144 Hundred And forty four
Rowan's POV
The moment the door closed, Julian's mouth found mine, slow and deliberate, months of careful restraint finally giving way to something unhurried but thorough, his hand cradling the back of my head with a tenderness that made my knees weaken despite the desperate want coiling through me.
"You've been driving me distracted for days," he murmured against my lips, "and you didn't say a word."
"I'm saying it now," I breathed, and felt his answering smile against my mouth.
Marcus's hands found my waist from behind, his mouth trailing warm, open kisses along the curve of my shoulder. I arched between them both, surrounded entirely by warmth and want and the particular, overwhelming sensation of being cherished from every direction at once.
"Careful with her," Julian murmured, though the words carried more warmth than warning, his eyes finding Marcus's over my shoulder.
"Always," Marcus said softly, his hands gentle as they found the ties at my back, patient despite the obvious heat building in his voice.
We made our way toward the bed together, unhurried despite the days of building want. I found myself, settling back against soft pillows, watching both of them with a hunger that felt entirely unfamiliar in its intensity, sharper and more insistent than anything I'd experienced before.
"You're staring," Marcus observed, a low, satisfied laugh in his voice as he settled beside me.
"I can't help it," I admitted. "Everything feels more intense lately. Every touch, every glance."
"Then let us give you exactly what you need," Julian said, settling on my other side, his hand finding my cheek, tilting my face toward his for another slow, deep kiss.
Marcus's mouth found my throat as Julian's continued its unhurried exploration. I gasped at the doubled sensation, every nerve alight with heightened awareness, the particular, overwhelming pleasure of being wanted from two directions at once feeling more intense than I remembered it ever feeling before.
"Is this alright?" Julian asked, pulling back just enough to search my face, concern threading gently beneath his obvious desire. "You're trembling."
"It's more than alright," I gasped, arching into Marcus's continued attention along my collarbone. "Everything just feels so much more. I don't know how else to explain it."
"Then let it," Marcus murmured against my skin. "Let yourself feel everything, exactly as intensely as it comes."
I did, surrendering fully to the heightened sensation building through me, every touch from both of them landing with doubled intensity, every murmured endearment sending fresh warmth curling through my chest alongside the building want.
Julian's hands slide through my body down to my pussy with renewed attention, careful of the curve of my stomach, reverent in a way that made tears prick unexpectedly behind my closed eyes.
"You're beautiful," he breathed, pressing a soft kiss against the swell of my belly before continuing his path upward. "Every part of you, exactly as you are right now."
"Julian—" His name broke on my lips as Marcus's hand found mine, threading our fingers together with steady warmth even as his mouth continued its slow, thorough exploration.
The room filled with nothing but heat and closeness, low murmured words and soft, satisfied sounds, both of them moving with careful, deliberate patience despite the obvious want thrumming beneath their touch, mindful in ways that made the intensity somehow deeper rather than diminished.
"Look at you," Marcus murmured at one point, pulling back just enough to watch my face, dark satisfaction evident in his expression at whatever he found there. "Falling apart already."
"Don't stop," I managed, and felt his answering laugh, low and warm, against my skin.
They moved together after that, unhurried and thorough, trading attention, overlapping, until the room held nothing but heat and my own ragged breathing and the particular, private sounds that belonged only to nights exactly like this one.
Julian's forehead pressed to mine at one point, his eyes locked on mine with a rawness that cut straight through the building intensity, and Marcus's hand found mine again, holding on like an anchor even as everything else built toward something overwhelming.
"I love you," I gasped, the words tumbling free without conscious thought, "both of you, completely, I don't know how else to say it—"
"We know," Julian breathed against my throat, and Marcus echoed the sentiment a moment later, rougher, closer to my ear, both of them holding me steady through the building wave of sensation that finally, overwhelmingly crested through every part of me at once.
I came back to myself slowly, boneless and warm, tangled between them both, their breathing still uneven against my skin, and felt a soft, disbelieving laugh escape me.
"That was..." I trailed off, unable to fully articulate the intensity of what had just happened.
"Intense," Marcus finished, a satisfied smile evident in his voice. "I think the healer's warning was rather understated."
"Considerably," Julian agreed, pressing a soft, lingering kiss against my temple.
We lay together for a long moment, comfortable and warm, before I felt the familiar heat beginning to build again, insistent despite everything we'd just shared.
"Oh," I said, surprise evident in my voice. "It's not finished, apparently."
Julian's low laugh rumbled against my shoulder. "The healer did mention it might happen more than once."
"Did she?" I said, a helpless smile spreading across my face despite my exhaustion. "How thoughtful of her to mention that detail."
"We're happy to help," Marcus said, already shifting closer again, his hand finding my hip with renewed, gentle warmth. "For however long tonight requires."
"I love you both so much," I murmured, pulling them closer, gratitude and want and overwhelming warmth tangling together into something I didn't have adequate words for.
"We love you too," Julian said softly, "exactly as you are, in every version of tonight you need us to be."
The night continued in slow, unhurried waves after that, each moment building and easing and building again, until exhaustion finally began pulling gently at all three of us. II found myself, sometime near dawn, curled contentedly between them both, utterly spent and thoroughly loved.
"Stay awake a little longer," Marcus murmured, echoing words from countless nights before, though this time carrying only warmth instead of the desperate weight of goodbye.
"I'm not going anywhere," I promised, exhaustion and contentment pulling gently at my consciousness.
"Good," Julian said, his voice already heavy with approaching sleep. "Because I suspect this particular development might continue for some time yet, and I intend to enjoy every moment of it."
"Promise," I murmured, already drifting.
"Promise," they both echoed, and I let sleep finally claim me, wrapped in warmth and certainty and the particular, precious knowledge that whatever came next, pain or joy or the particular, overwhelming intensity of carrying new life within me, I'd face it surrounded by exactly the love I'd once believed myself entirely unworthy of receiving.
