Chapter 64

CHAPTER 64

ALLISON'S POV

The thoughts of losing my hair actually had goose-bumps all over my skin, I couldn't see myself cutting off my hair, knowing how much I loved my hair.

"Is there another way around this?" I asked staring into the eyes of Will, I knew there was no way out of this, he had to make me look like a man in order to be able to enter the pack as traders, a woman being a trader is suspicious and sentinels have the rights for interrogation and that could lead to The Nurse getting to see my face, that would be the end of my days on earth.

"Come on we have to find a way around this mister?"

"The truth is if there was a way I would have suggested it by now and we don't have time, the moon light festival is in a week and our horses can't run for long, so we have to feed them and give them water to drink so I suggest we do this and head on"

"This is a sacrifice for your child"

"I accept it" I conceded to my wolf's words.

Will trimmed my hair to a man's style, he used the hair that fell off to form beards and wore them on my cheeks. It seemed like he had done this before so I had to ask him.

"Have you done this before?" I inquired staring at the look on her face.

"What exactly?" He was a bit confused with his words,

"Changing someone's looks" I sighed in a mild tone.

"Yes I usually do it for my late wife, she loved travelling with me, sometimes we go to trade in another pack, to avoid the eyes of any man she changed her looks because she loved me so much" he divulged, wondering why his wife would want to be a man and he would be cool with it.

"What happened to her?" wondering what must have killed his wife since he addressed her with the words late.

"She died of a disease that was incurable" He divulged sighing a bit, I guess he must have been missing her knowing that I asked after her.

"That's sad"

"I'm sorry that I had to bring back memories that were long forgotten"

"Watch out" I was shocked when the three soldiers saddled on their horses were shot down with arrows, they immediately turned to dust.

"Are we being attacked?" I whispered as we rolled into a thick bush, hiding there was kind of safe to me because it was hard for me to even look at who attacked us.

"Not really, they're on patrol so we have to stay put until they're out of sight and back to their lands" Will was sober staring at his soldiers turning into dust.

"This means that we're close to the valley" He divulged, wearing a smile on his face.

"What do you mean that we're close to the valley, how's that even possible?" I was confused knowing that he said that the valley was a journey of a week or more.

"These soldiers didn't even come far, they don't look like they've traveled for so long... It seems she's taking over the whole north side which is why it was easy for them to see them on their horses" I stuttered in a mild tone.

"She's really ready to take over the whole world of werewolves" I knew that was her motive from the onset, she wants to be the most powerful alpha of all time.

"That's not what she wants, she wants enough humans to be able to replace her lost clan and that would be her divine move. All the members of her clan all had powers and they were so evil that all other clan had to join forces to have them subdued and buried alive." I wondered how Will got to know so much about this whole event, I couldn't even discover what her actual plan is even if she was with us this whole time.

"She's replacing them with whoever she kills" he explained further, knowing that this was what her actual plan, I couldn't help but realize that I was making a mistake even accepting her and telling her all my problems. I even helped her plan to reach a stage that there was no fear of going back, she just had to go further.

"We have to stop her" I stuttered wearing a smile on my face.

"It's not in our hands we have to find your child first" I loved the fact that he cared about my well being and the main reason of this journey.

"Let's head out then" I tried to raise my head up, he quickly placed me down back and warned

"Hang on a little, once they're gone we'll have our chances and head down to the sentinels, I know a way to get around them but these soldiers are so strong that I'm not sure we can hold on to them even if we wanted to fight" he was right with his words.

We waited until they were done with whatever they were doing and then we got out of the bush and headed out to the road.

"We'll have to go fast, ready the horses" Will uttered as we saddled three horses to another direction so they could follow that way when they hear the neighing of horses.

We rode for more than five hours, making sure that we did whatever we're supposed to do. In a short while we're approaching the lands staring at the growling wolves.

I guess it was their leader that turned into human, walking towards our direction, he asked us to halt,

"What brings you to the Valley?" He inquired as he stared at us for a while I guess he was a little bit scared staring at the bags that we're holding on our horses.

"What brings you into another man's land?" I was a bit scared when Will answered his question with a question, I know how this attitude could get anyone's pissed and that wasn't our intention at this point in time, but it seemed Will was even happy with what he did.

"How dare you answer my question with a question?" He growled in anger, I held onto my beards, acting a bit weird.

"I'm sorry sir, we're here for business" He sighed in a mild tone.

"What business?" The leader was a bit too curious I must say, knowing that if we didn't give him all the details that he was looking for he could have us taken for interrogation.

"Trade, we sell our products and get our money once we're done we leave the valley," he chortled.

"Well we don't have any trade activities going on and the fact that you're here unannounced makes it a lot weird for me to just accept you to walk right through our borders... What's your name?" he asked as I turned to look at Will wondering if he was going to say his real name or come up with a fake name.

"My name's Will" He uttered willingly not even hiding his smile.

"What's his name?" he asked as we locked eyes together.

"His name's..." I was a bit perplexed when he was interrupted by the Guard.

"I never asked you" he uttered as Will continued his words.

"He's a deaf man, he's my brother and he's dead please can we let that slide so you don't insult him please" He stuttered, I was glad when he said the words.

"Oh that's sad, it's rare to meet a deaf person this days. Sorry that you have to live with this burden all your life" The Guard was accepting us as a fact, I was glad when he said the words that made me happy.

"He's my blood what would you have me do?" Will was good at keeping a conversation on track and making his partner say more words than himself.

"If I was in your shoes I would have abandoned him" I heaved up a deep sigh.

"The Sun's not good on his skin, it's making him sick" Will uttered as I leaned my head down on the horse holding on to the saddle.

"You're welcome, we'll keep an eye on your trade, once you're done, you'll leave as you promised, don't make us force you out cause it won't be nice" he warned, knowing that it would only take me a day or two to find my way around and then on the third I would find a way out of the valley.

"We'll be done in three days" I was surprised how Will calculated the days I would be spending in the Valley.

He signalled them to open the gates and at this point I was glad that this happened,

"Wait, wait, Wait" we had to stop the horses from moving, I was scared watching him run back to us.

"What exactly are you going to sell?"
