XAVIER'S POV

I was shocked that Aurora's spell didn't work on Christian.

"I'll be back for your heads" Aurora uttered as she shifted into a werewolf running off into the forest.

"Why do I have a feeling that you did something?" I uttered staring into Christian's eyes as I tried to hold his hands but he refused,

"What did I do?" He uttered, I knew he didn't want to have a word with me since he saw me doing this.

"I didn't do anything, I just did what was right with me and within myself... How would you be fucking her while her sister is out there searching for her child, if she was the one that caught you here what would you have done?" Christian had a point, only if he knew the reason why I did agree to fuck her.

"Well you don't know why I agreed to fuck her" I stuttered hating the fact.

"Whatever you say can't distance the actual fact that you slept with her" He stuttered in a mild tone, I didn't like the fact that people read indirect meanings to my actions. They never believe the true aims of my actions.

"Don't you know that the only way to get into a Witch's head is to get intimate with her. That was my true aim of letting myself agree to her sex demands" Christian understood my words but he had his own words.

"You know that Allison would never believe this crap even if it was the actual truth and Aurora isn't a witch, just because she learnt a few spells from the forbidden books doesn't make her a full witch" Christian hissed as he walked over to the counter, pulling out two cups of wine.

"She casts spells" I uttered as I gulped mine all at once trying to relieve myself of thoughts.

"Weak spells, her wolf wouldn't let her cast some spells and that is going to be our target when the time's right" He uttered, I was scared of a certain fact, the versatile knowledge of Christian made me suspicious about him.

"Where do you think Allison would be by this time?" I inquired, wondering if he would use the map.

"Well if she's with that map she would be close to the actual spot through the valley but without the map she would be in the human world right above the valley" he spoke so confidently.

"We should go after her" I suggested, wearing a smile on my face.

"We can't, we shouldn't go after her. She would be our only chance of them not knowing of our arrival... An element of surprise is the only way we can defeat this soldiers"

"You're right, when do we leave?"

"By dawn."

"Rally all the men, let them know that we're leaving by dawn. The war awaited is finally here," I smashed the cup on the window, I stormed into my room shocked to see a bird on my window.

Having a look at the bird, I knew it had a message tied to it's legs and the only way I could get to read that was to catch the bird.

"How do I get to catch this bird?"

"Don't startle it just make it feel attracted to something, I picked up a vase and placed it beside the bird, it walked into my room. Locking the window I caught the Bed.

"You should know that your wife is gentle and she loves you so much. She couldn't cheat on you but you're the opposite of her. You cheat like you don't have manners, you make her feel less of a woman. You hurt her really bad you'll pay for all you did to Allison"

"Whoever wrote this wouldn't have gone far"

"Let's find that which doesn't belong to us," I ordered as I rallied my men, saying the words that they were supposed to hear.

"Whoever finds him would have a chance at telling me what he or she wants... Let the search begin" I growled.

"You're making a grave mistake, you know your actions have consequences" I hated the fact that even my wolf was against my actions, it seemed I was more like a fool.

"Don't act so righteous, we're all in this together" I uttered knowing that we both were the orchestrators of this plan.

"I wasn't the one that allowed a witch to use it's cock, and I'm not the same man searching for an intruder in this forest" it laughed hysterically, I felt pained.

"My men are more than capable. They'll do a great job, you'll be proud of them"

"You act like you don't know this forest, you and I know that this forest has a lot of booty traps, now I'll count to five you'll be left with only me standing" my wolf chuckled.

Each number it counted, I listened to the screams of my soldiers. Some were crushed by trees, some were drowned in the sea while the rest were burnt into ashes by some fire plants.

I walked back home, staring at Christian as he stood in front of the door. He had his glasses on, making me feel a bit suspicious about the new dressing, the way he stood in the rain sent goosebumps all over my skin.

I knew something was definitely wrong, I had to find out what it was.

"What's happening Christian?"

"I don't really know, we're all here to die... I guess this might be the last day you get to see me close to you... The Queen is sitting on your father's throne, if I move an inch the mines would blow up, you know what I mean" tears rolled down my eyes, knowing that I couldn't do anything to save my Beta.

Taking him off the mines would surely get us both killed, I've got to stop the trigger from being turned on.

"Who the fuck...?" I was stopped with the edge of spear directly aimed at my nose, I fell to the ground staring at the man who sat on the throne.
