Chapter Twenty-Seven
When we arrive back at his house, he hurriedly pulls me through the front door. God, what's with him?
Once the door is closed, he turns towards me, breathing deeply. "I can't take it anymore." He says quietly, his eyes looking down at me with his hands roaming his hair. He looks so stressed out. I cock my head, "Can't take any more of what?"
"You. I need you, Alice."
Oh my...
He looks at me with dark eyes, "And I will take you in any way I can. If you'll let me, that is."
I lick my dry lips and slowly nod. Why does he even have to ask? He knows how badly I want him.
"Come. We're going upstairs." He gestures towards the staircase and I follow him up. Once were at the top of the staircase, I turn down the hallway, towards my bedroom but I feel his strong grip around my wrist. When I turn to look at him, he is shaking his head. "My room. I want you in my room."
I follow him in the opposite direction towards his bedroom. Once were in, he pushes me onto his bed. Before I can say or do anything, he climbs on top of me, his lips latching onto my neck. I release a involuntary moan. He works his way down my neck, kissing and nibbling all the way, as he does this, I feel his hand work its way up the inside of my right thigh. God, he's good.
"You are so beautiful." He whispers and leans down, planting his lips on the inside skin of my thigh, just inches away from my knickers. I gasp and he looks up to meet my eyes. "Is this too much for you?"
"No." I whisper, "Don't stop."
He grins and skims his hand further up my leg. I lean back and enjoy the feel of his hands roaming over my skin, my body. Everywhere.
"Why do you have to be such a naughty girl?"
"Mmm...." I moan as his hand reaches behind my back, pushing my top up. Then, without warning he yanks my legs down the bed and he sits himself between them. He lays down in between my legs, our noses nearly touching. "Answer me."
"I...er..." I struggle. He reaches down and slides his hand into my knickers. "Oh, god. Ian!" I squeal.
"Why are you so naughty, Alice?"
"Because I like people knowing they can't control me." I confess in a life longing and honest sentence. "Well, I can and I will." Then, his hand is cupping me. "Oh god..." I moan breathlessly.
"I've been dying to touch you this way." He says huskily, his hand rubbing my core. "Aargh!" I yell in ecstasy. "Tell me how it feels."
I bite my lip and slowly release it, "It feels...good...!" I gasp and he removes his hand and presses his hard-on against my core. "This is what you do to me." He growls. In that instant I throw my head back, my mouth hanging open.
Ring....ring...!
Ring...ring...!
What? I feel Ian freeze on top of me, his legs straddling my body. My hands stop halfway down his chest, after roaming his body. I open my eyes and he's looking towards the bedroom door, the ringing echoing through the hallway walls. "It's coming from your room." He says softly and pushes himself off of me.
I quickly push myself up from his double bed and run down the hallway towards my room. I run into my room to find my mobile vibrating and circling around on top of the nightstand. I walk over to it and read the caller's name.
Miss Harrison calling...
FUCK!!
I clear my throat quickly and pick it up. "Hello?"
"Alice! Alice, is that you?!" Her voice is high and worried. I sigh, "Unfortunately. Yes."
"WHERE THE 'FUDDY DUDDY' HAVE YOU BEEN!?" 'Fuddy, duddy...' that's funny. I smirk. This is going to take some time...
I breathe and run my fingers through my hair, "It's not really something I can explain over the phone."
"Well, where are you!?"
"I'm at someone's house." I say hesitantly. "And before you say anything, it's not my fault! You didn't pay my bills or rent so I had to leave."
"So, who's house are you at!? Why didn't you at least tell me!?"
"I'm at my teacher's house. Chill out. I'm fine." I roll my eyes and she gasps, "A t-teacher's house!? What the hell do you think you're playing at young lady? Is it a man teacher!?"
"Yes, but-"
"Where is he, put me on the phone to him right now!" She shouts. "Miss Harrison-"
"No! Put. Him. On. The. Phone...NOW!"
"Jeeze..." I lower my mobile from my ear and shouts out into the hallway, "Ian!?"
"Yes?" He replies almost immediately, and I see his face pop out from his bedroom door. "It's Miss Harrison, the woman who lives next door to me. I told you about her."
"Oh, yes?"
"Well, she wants to speak to you." I purse my lips and hold my mobile out to him. He walks out from his bedroom and approaches me, his hand reaching out to take my mobile. Our hands brush for a split second he takes it from out of my hand. "Hello, Miss Harrison?" He addresses in a formal and polite voice.
"Yes...I know...yes. Well...Yeah..." He speaks. "Alice is staying with me for a bit. I've agreed to take care of her."
He pauses as Miss Harrison speaks. I can't hear what she is saying but whatever she is saying is not good. I rub my forehead and stare up at him. He looks back down at me and gives me a reassuring smile. "Yes, well as soon as I get my money for my teaching, I'm willing to pay off the debt that Alice is obviously in." What? He never told me that. God, I don't expect him to pay my rent off for me. That's not what I asked from him. He nods a few times and says, "Ok."
"Yes, Ok. I'll leave you with my address. You are very free to pop over and see her." He says, "Miss Harrison, I can assure you that Alice is very safe with me." Within a few more minutes the conversation ends, and he lay the phone back into my hand. "Sorted." He smiles. "She may pop round about nine-ish tonight, she's very concerned."
"Ok." I breathe.
"She said she's been calling and calling." He muses and glances down at my phone. I swipe unlock on my phone and see I have twelve missed calls. Jesus, I've got some explaining to do.
Ian goes downstairs and decides to cook some food. As I think of him pottering around in a kitchen, I remember the chocolate pancake he cooked me early this morning. As he whispered sweet Italian words into my ear. Now, that did turn me on.
"Alice!?" He calls from downstairs.
"Yeah!?"
"Do you by any chance, like Bolognese?
"Bolognese?" I repeat. I make my way down the stairs and he
comes into view. "Yes. Spaghetti Bolognese."
"Mmm...that sounds nice." I smile and he grins impressively. "Oh, that is good news. Coming right up, for you gorgeous." I beam red and rub at my cheeks. Darn, he's good.
I make my way downstairs and follow him into the kitchen. He is walking about with numbers of saucepans and plates, preparing it all. I'm itching to help but I've never done a day’s housework in my life so I wouldn't nowhere to start! I stand frozen in the doorway, portraying a completely clueless and blank expression. He turns and looks towards me. "Sit down at the table and I'll lay it down for us."
"Can't I help?"
"You can help lay out the table..." He says as he turns back towards the oven top, beginning to cook the Bolognese in the large saucepan. I rub at my arms and slowly nod even though he can see me. "Ok then." He looks over his shoulder at me and flashes a cheeky wink. He points his index finger over to two plates which sit on the kitchen counter with two sets of knife and folks. "Just take them and put it out on the dining table." He's so posh sometimes with certain things a say, 'dining table'. I just say dinner table.
I do exactly as he instructs and take the plates and knives and folks. At first, I find it a challenge as the dining table is just so...massive. Seriously? This man must be loaded with money. When I've set the dinner plates down with the knives and folks, I turn back towards the kitchen doorway. "So..." I begin, trying to sum up some kind of conversation.
"Yeah?" He says as he stirs the Bolognese round in the saucepan. I swallow and lean against the kitchen doorway. "What exactly made you want to be a teacher?"
"I told you. I just have a passion for literature." He shrugs, his back turned to me.
"No. What made you have that passion? I don't understand how you can just wake up one morning and suddenly know what you want to do as a living. How did you know that literature was what you wanted to do?" With that, he chuckles and turns to face me. He crosses his arms and leans against the kitchen counter. "When I was eleven years old, I didn't have a clue how to read. My Mother paid out for a private home tutor. Her name was Anne. She taught me how to read within a matter of six weeks at least..." He paused, taking and breath and closing his eyes briefly. "I really fancied her. Really, fancied her. She understood what I was going through at the time, because if my Dad knew I couldn't read, he would have gone mental. My Father was the sort of man who I had to impress. He wanted me to be just like him, powerful and successful. I guess, you could say he was quite disappointed that I became a English teacher instead of a business man."
I stand still, my lips slightly parted. "Oh..." He nods, "So, Anne taught me to read, she was really good at teaching me and incredibly.... hot...may I add. Months later, I wouldn't stop reading. I read everywhere I went, signs, posters, quotes...everything. I then, started going to the library constantly. I spent my life there. I was so obsessed with reading, I wanted to start writing books of my own. That's when I became so passionate with literature and Anne knew that was my.... talent." He took another breath, "By the time I was fifteen, I knew. I knew right then that's what I wanted to do. I sort of...developed a wanting for literature."
"But...if you think about it, it was all to impress your Father." I point out in a hasty voice. He gives me a crooked smile, "Not to become an English teacher, it wasn’t. Becoming an English teacher is one of his worst nightmares. Nevertheless, he knows I'm on good money and I've made a good lifestyle for myself. He's reasonably pleased with my achievements."
"And your Mum?"
"She's ecstatic." He grins. I laugh and shake my head. The saucepan behind Ian begins to make frizzling noise and he jumps in realisation. He turns back round, returning to his work. "On a lighter note..." He begins as he starts to stir the Bolognese in the saucepan ne again. "About what happened earlier."
"What about it?"
"I need to talk to you about it, about...the consequences." He murmurs softly.
"Consequences?" I say in question. He nods and begins to load the spaghetti pastor into boiled water. "There's things I haven't told you about me."
"Like what? What'd you mean?" I ask stepping towards him. He blinks and shakes his head, "We'll discuss it over dinner." He smiles at me over his shoulder and I release a shaky breath. "Ok."
Once the food was laid out on the dining table, we sat down. I purse my lips as Ian sits next to me and takes a deep breath. He seems anxious, very anxious. I press my lips in a thin line and wait for him to speak. He picks his knife up and begins to twirl the spaghetti around his folk. "There's certain things you need to understand about our situation."
"Our situation?"
"I'm looking after you now and as we are both aware...we have sexual tension between us." His eyes then meet mine as he raises his folk to his lips. I nod. He digests the spaghetti and prepares for his next sentence. "I haven't been entirely honest with you about my background. As neat as what I may seem, inside I'm very messed up."
I wait.
"You're a attractive sixteen year old girl, Alice. And I'm not even going to say the things I want to do to you. But...I can't guarantee I won't hurt you."
"What do you mean?" I say, chewing on my spaghetti Bolognese. His jaw clenches and he turns to look me directly in the eyes. "What do you want from this, Alice?"
"I just...I..."
"You what?"
"I just feel like at times....at times I feel like I need to feel something." I whisper. He huffs and frowns at me, "I don't do romance. So, before you get any thoughts..."
"You don't?"
"No." He says with a stern voice, twirling another lot of spaghetti around with his folk. "Why not?"
"I don't want to talk about it. However, that is not the point." He says with a firm voice and looks at me with a cautious expression. His eyes say something completely different from his words. "The point is I want to fuck you into the middle of next week." I gasp and fix my eyes on my food. His fingers grasp my chin and tilt my head up so my eyes are meeting his. "There's other things you need to know about me. I... I’m very possessive."
"Oh."
"And you aren't the type of girl who likes to be controlled." I nod and he continues, "And I am very controlling and possessive. You have to understand that about me. So, if we build this relationship you have to understand you will belong to me. And only me."
"No strings attached?" I giggle softly and he smiles defiantly. "Absolutely none."
"So... it’s just sex, nothing else?"
"Just sex." He confirms. "Also, it will help both of us out. I can relieve my sexual tension, and you get to feel something."
"Why are you saying all this though?"
"Well..." He shrugs, "You're a sexy young girl, I'm a horny man. We need to combine." I swallow and nod. "Deal?" He asks. I breathe out slowly and nod once again in confirmation. He stares down at me with piercing eyes. "Say it."
"Deal."
"But you have to promise me something." He says in a husky voice and he grab my hand to hold it in a firm grip. "You must promise to not fall in love with me."
"That's easy." I scoff and roll my eyes. My insides twist and my emotional side of me is saying something entirely opposite to what I've just promised. He smirks and shakes his head, "Really? Is it?"
"Sure." With that he grins and leans over, pressing his lips against my ear. "In that case, once we've finished this I want to create a little episode of our own."
"Episode?" I gulp down my spaghetti. He nods and breathes heavily against my ear. His cologne literally melts off him. "Upstairs." He whispers.
