"Trust me when I say I got this" Alpha Nathan said boastfully, as they both walked away from them.

"Don't think I enjoy playing with you; I was doing this just to go see if he's happy; just being a loyal wife,keeps her husband happy" Emma smirks after listening to her say that.

"At least it's good to see that unique smile on your face, even if you aren't doing it for me. Just keep doing it for the both of you. I am happy with that" She smiled, walking away.

"This lady seems to be very manipulative. I can't fall for her tricks and lose Nathan to her; I need to always keep my emotions in check each time I am around her. If not, she will steal him away from me. I have to find any way possible to make sure I am the only one who is the luna of the pack and the mother of his children. So Emma better keep in mind that your days are numbered in this palace; I will stop your imagination, and you shall go back to the trash to which you belong"She chuckled wryly.

Emma was welcoming the elders and some guests who had shown up to honor the event. She saw Mia's mother and quickly rushed to welcome her.

"Godday, mother, you are welcome" she said with a beautiful smile on her face. She smiled, looking at her.

"Do you know the reason I like you?" She asked, and Emma nodded negatively.

"There's some fact about you; you seem to be real and always have a happy look. I think my daughter finally got the sister she had always wanted" she said, giving her her blessings.

"Thank you, queen mother" she said, and she was taking her to Mia discussing some random things. On their way, they bumped into Alpha Nathan and his beta, who greeted her, and they discussed some random things.

"I know you know how to cope with my daughters, even though it was too late before she started having interest in learning the virtues of a good wife, but with her here, I am sure they won't be a problem" Mrs. Thomas said, and they nodded.

"You are right, Queen Mother; she's had a big heart that accommodates everyone. And I don't think Mia is going to have a problem, and she's always ready to shoulder everything to keep her smiling. Let me show you their video from a moment ago" Beta Kaden reassured her, showing the videos he took while they were playing a moment ago.

"You never told me you took videos" Alpha Nathan snapped.

"Calm down, your highness; they are something that is supposed to be kept for future purposes. If I don't make the video, how am I going to prove to her that her daughter is doing well? You know how worried mothers could be" he said, showing her the pictures and videos.

"This is really amazing; I can imagine a better future for this family. The three of you need to be quick" she said but was cut off.

"Quick at what, mother? Mia asked, coming closer. Her mother was excited to see her, and they coerced each other into a hug.

"I was talking about grandchildren; I am old enough to have grandchildren" she said, and they smiled, while Alpha Nathan chuckled.

"Yes, Mrs. Thomas, I support this; we can't wait for that" Sarah said from behind, and Emma chuckled softly.

"Sarah, I thought you said you weren't going to come, as you have something urgent to attend to" Emma said, trying to cover her amusement.

"I was just trying to surprise you; you know I can cancel all my appointments for my little sister. I Know it would have been great if Mother was here, but at the same time I am here, and you better start calling me Mother before I break your tooth" Everyone burst into laughter.

"Sorry, but that can't be possible again. She's now someone's wife" Alpha Nathan said and dragged both Mia and Emma closer to himself, and they all hummed at the same time.

"Yes, to get to one, you will have to face the three of us" Emma said, and they all burst into laughter.

"I am so happy for this beautiful family, but don't forget my request. Grandchildre" Mrs. Thomas tried reminding them.

"Mum, can you stop this already? Micheal already gives you three grandchildren, and if you think you need more, why don't you get your lastborn, Ryan, married so he could give you a grandchild?" Mia whispered nervously, but it was too loud to hear.

"Imagine, why are you married then? You should have just stuck to your father's house" Ryan, her younger brother, said from behind.She rushed to hug her brother, after such a long time.

"Mother, if grandchildren are what you need, you don't have to worry; we can reproduce as many as you want." Alpha Nathan spoke softly, and both Mia and Emma smiled nervously.

Beta Kaden's phone chimed, and he checked it. He whispered something to Alpha Nathan, and they quickly excused the gathering.

They went to the side, and Beta Kaden told him the problem.

"I got messages from Beta Khan saying we should protect our dominance, as he didn't trust Alpha Marcus move and he might launch his attack anytime. He said this is the least he can do to see the two packs in good shape. You take care of the palace. I've got to go and see how the soldiers are doing. We don't have to keep our guard low" Beta Kaden said.

"You are right, Alpha. Marcus needs to be more careful because I might not spare him. Make sure nothing goes wrong. You can go "Alpha Nathan's order, and pay his respect before leaving.

"Brother-in-law, it's been a while" Ryan said, standing behind him.

Yes, Ryan, when did you come back from the human world?" Alpha Nathan asked.

"Late last night, it's bad I missed my sister's wedding. How are you coping with things around you, and why was your beta in a hurry? Is anything wrong?" Ryan asked, and Alpha Nathan chuckled.

"There is always a limit to talking about business that isn't your concern; why don't you talk about your experience in the human world? "Ryan chuckled wryly.
