Mia walked closer and stood between them. "What's going on? Am I missing anything?" She asked and feigned a smile.

Emma scoffed. "Nothing, Mia, just some random talk" she said, and Mia glared at her.

"Why don't we set in for the day? The final rituals will be starting soon. Let's work together on decorating the house" Alpha Nathan said, and Emma nodded to the idea.

"That sounds like a bad idea; why are the maids here if we are to be doing this?" She was reluctant to help with the decorations.

"Well, to me, it doesn't matter; it's just some random work, at least to keep ourselves busy. And to spend some quality time together as a family. It's going to be awesome." She said as s smile lit up her face, and Mia frowned as Nathan tried to convince her. She finally accepted, and they went to meet the maids doing the decorations. They paid their respect immediately they spotted them.

"Can you leave this spot for us? We want to do the decorations" Emma asked, her voice meek and Alpha Nathan folded his hands on his chest, waiting for their reaction. He knows they would get out with just an order, but she's different and treats everyone with respect. So he watched them as they stared at each other one after the other.

"Yes, your highest, it's our pleasure, but if you find it difficult, don't hesitate to call us; it's our work, and we will definitely do it." This leader said it with a bow, and Luna Mia chuckled dryly.

"You talk too much; can you leave already? Can't you see you are keeping His Majesty waiting?" Her tone was harsh and filled with anger. They tilted their heads in apology before leaving the spot for them.

"You know you don't have to be harsh on them; most people love to be treated with respect" Emma corrected, trying to make sure she didn't pick an offense. She picked up some ribbons and shared them with them.

"How are maids supposed to be treated? We paid them, and they are supposed to accept all the insults that come their way, and if you give them too much freedom, they will surely misuse it, and you might later regret giving them a chance" she said, trying not to sound angry because of Nathan.

"Not everybody, and talking about paying them, that's not a good reason to treat them like trash; even servants that are bought with money should be given some moreover we are not less to them, just that nature gives us an opportunity they didn't have " Nathan finds this interesting, seeing his wife negotiate while working. He will just keep quiet and not support anyone, but deep inside he knows who's right and who's wrong.

"Maybe you think so, Because you were once one of them." Mia dropped a bombshell, and Alpha Nathan wanted to speak, but Emma cut him off.

"You are right; okay, look at me now. I wasn't born with a silver spoon, but here I am today. I once used to be a maid to some people before my mother passed away. Life was so difficult before I came down to this pack to stay with my sister. Then I really do appreciate the little respect I get from people. I never imagined that I was going to be a Queen one day. I hope you understand my flight now, Co-wife" Emma said, smiling, and Mia felt defeated, but she just smiled it off. They both keep mute, and Alpha Nathan hums.

"What? Why are you huming? Do you want to say something?" Mia asked, and Emma nodded her head in agreement with her question.

"I was enjoying the chat; why did you both stop?" He asked, working on the decorations.

"Because it's nothing to talk about. We are just not on the same side; her point of view is different from mine. So we stopped" Mia replied, and he chuckled dryly.

"It wasn't supposed to end like that; at least you both should provide a valid point to back up your respective statements." You know how debate used to be like in school, or maybe you give him to her" Nathan said, pulling out his tongue and throwing her some flowers, trying to bring in a different atmosphere.

"And who told you I gave up? I wasn't just ready" She threw some flowers at him back.

"Maybe I need to help you both in this" Emma took as many flowers as possible from Inside the basket and threw them at them.

"Really" They both Shouted and also packed some flowers, throwing them at her. They started messing up the whole place with flowers, and the maids and people around started laughing seeing the beautiful moment they were having. It seems a new era is about to start in the palace. Because they've never seen this joy on their Alpha face, they were so lost in this play that they forgot they were preparing for something. Not until Beta Kaden showed up.

"Seems quite pretty; it's good seeing this beautiful atmosphere. Maybe I will help Emma against you two." Beta Bryan said he was joining Emma's team. They were dazed, seeing how everyone was staring at them. Alpha Nathan chuckled, and we all got back to work.

"Why don't you stop us earlier?" Alpha Nathan asked his beta nervously.

"It's such a beautiful moment; how can I intrude on that? Even though I had to stop you guys before the elders and priest arrived. It's not too late"he said with a smirk.

"It's fine; it's all my fault. I will clean this mess" Emma said, bending to gather the flowers. The maids around her quickly came and stopped her. He looked at them and at Alpha Nathan, who signaled her to leave it for them.

"Well? I must say I am proud of you. It's good you are trying your best to build a strong bond between them when you get this chance. It might be a bit difficult. I don't think Emma will be a problem; the focus should be Mia." Beta Kaden said he kept his voice low to avoid anyone hearing it.
