Chapter 103 Epilogue
“Gabby.” I yelled through the house, I could hear her voices and her brother, they are playing hide and seek even after I asked the not to.

My kids, my pride, it’s been a year since I got pregnant and not only that, I was about five months when we found out I am pregnant with two kids. One of each, you can imagine my surprise when we found out, turns out Finn has been hiding behind Gabby that’s why we could not hear his heartbeat.

A smile appeared on my face when I felt a hand wrap around my waist and he pulled me closer to him, his perfume filled my nostrils before he placed a kiss on my cheek.

“What do you say, we ditch the kids and spend a night at the hotel.”

“Adrian.” I yelled and he playfully rolled his eyes at me.

“Your mom is here and Javier has proven to be a good older uncle, he takes care of Gabby.”

“He spoils her and sneaks her cookies whenever I say no and mom, she is always standing by Finn no matter what he does, she has spoil him rotten.” I mumbled pretending to complain, I didn’t mind what was happening, I loved that mom is happy and the kids are being taken care of, it made me happy that the kids are getting what they desire

A good home, a good family that loves and cares about them.

“Ditch them for the night.” He said when he placed a kiss on my cheek, his lips found its way to the nape of my neck, he loves the kids even more than I do, he has proven to be a better father than anyone could ask for.

“Ew.” I heard a voice coming from the door, my eyes met Gabby as she stared at us in disgust, in a second, Finn stood beside her and he took equally disgusted.

“Guys we talked about this.”

“No we didn’t.” Adrian smiled.

The kids are seven years old, Adrian and I have realized we only wanted two, not anymore and I was happy knowing we both had the same thoughts, we give all our care and love to them.

“Come on, time for bed.” I smiled.

“Daddy promised us we will have a movie night.”

“Yes I did.” Adrian smiled. “Come on, you and Finn should pick out a movie.”

Finn and Gabby glanced at each other because they whisper something and a smile appeared on their face, I didn’t even know what is on their mind, I just knew that, it was something funny.

Finn glanced at us again.

“Are you and daddy busy, nana said you and daddy need some alone time.”

“No we don’t.”

“Yes we do.” Adrian and I said in unison and I turned to look at them, he had a mischievous smile on his face and I rolled my eyes at him.

We can’t ditch the kids, maybe we can tomorrow, have a whole weekend away from all of them, but not after we promised them a good movie night.

“Fine we will pick a movie, Jason suggested- who is Jason?.” Finn and Adrian said in unison.

I was the only one that knew Jason, her boyfriend, they will die before they let her have a boyfriend.

“No more talks about Jason, come on.” I whispered.

“Are we going to ignore the whole thing about Jason?” Adrian whispered to me while we were watching a movie.

“He is her  special friend.” I mumbled against my breath and he rolled his eyes at me.

Finn and Gabby are fully engrossed in the movie and all he wanted to know is who Jason is? I’m never telling him before he scared the kid away.

“You know I can find out right, one call is all I need and I will find out who he is? Where stays and if his parents can move him to another city.”

“They are not doing anything Adrian.”

“Did your papa allow you to date?.” He asked and I rolled  my yess at him. “And you turned out fine.” He said again, well papa is different; papa did what he had to do to make sure I am safe, he was scared after losing mom and he didn’t want that.

We were half way through the movie when Javier headed into the room, he is nothing like his father, he is even more calmer as he is grown up and I saw mom by the end of the room, she has just woken up from her nap.

“Come join us.” Gabby smiled, as they settled  together, I glanced at the whole room, it was a room filled with love, filled with happiness and togetherness, it was a room filled with warmth and peace and people that will do any thing for each other

I glanced at mom and her eyes met mine, she had the biggest smile on her face and Javier looked between both of us  before he looked away, I didn’t  have to say the words, she knew what I was thinking about.

She is happy as I am, Adrian pulled this family together, papa will be proud of the man he picked for me and he will be proud of what we have become today, it feels like he is here, watching over us, making sure we are safe, making sure we are taken care of and making sure we are happy.

This is my family and we are always going to be together, at the end nothing really matters except for family, because family loves and family protects,
