All of them
Even though I've never set foot in the library I know where it is, wait I have been here before! That one time where I was searching for information about vampires. Even remembering that action makes me wonder if they know about it. Maybe I'm being paranoid but Knowing that your every move- well not every move but being watched is uncomfortable. I entered the library that had less than fifteen students, as majestic as it was , the Library sort of looked lonely. Most humans hate libraries and it's even worse for shifters because the action and adventure instinct is deep in our blood.
I went for a more secluded table that was away from other tables, I don't want people listening to our conversation. My anxiousness died down when I saw Damian entering through the library's door and I smiled in relief but my smile froze when Adrian followed behind him. That didn't seem to be all as Cedric and Peter followed and finally someone whose face was twisted with anger. Ceasar! No no no what did Damian do! I watched as he scanned the place and his eyes quickly met mine, too scary!.
"Scram!" His voice was low but loud enough for those in the library to hear. They wasted no time, even leaving their books on the table feeling like the door was too far away.
They made their way towards the table I was in while I felt nervous but with growing anger. Why can't they leave me be , I'm allowed to do whatever I want and ask help from whoever I want. I didn't fail to notice Damian's slightly disheveled uniform. Did they do something to him!?
"Why are you here!" I asked with my voice a little bit too loud but I didn't care, he doesn't get to come in here with an ugly face thinking I'm going to submit. This is a side I really don't like about warewolves ever so possessive that it blinds them from remembering that their partners have lives too. They love to cage. The nervousness was gone replaced by anger and I stared at him. My gaze was unwavering. To think it hasn't even been a full week yet he is already acting this way. Today I'll teach him and he better learn or this won't work.
"Ho? You don't see anything wrong with what you've done?" He spoke sounding a bit amused and his tone was different from how he looked " I asked you a question Ceasar and I suggest you answer it quickly while I'm still in the mood to talk" this time I'm not going to go lower. If you go high I'll go higher. He didn't answer and we stared at each other for what felt like the longest time " we were just curious about what you wanted to tell Damian" said Adrian. "there is nothing wrong with being curious but this? This is unacceptable and very invading " I answered Adrian while still glaring daggers at Ceasar. " You specifically said that he is the only one you can tell this and need this 'type of help '...why?"
" Yes Ceasar I did, is there something wrong with that?"
Bam!
His hand slammed on the table that was in-between us, it was an unexpected action so I was startled. Even jumping from my seat. "Ceasar I think you need to calm down " said Cedric on the side, hearing his words made Ceasar smirk. " Don't worry Cedric I'm very calm right now. I just wanted to break her tough act" tch I shouldn't have reacted like that. "Well you're scaring her" added Peter and the glare I gave him while I finally stood up from my chair. "Scaring who? Do I look scared to you? Or maybe you're forgetting what I did to you" I chuckled seeing his twitch.
"I don't know what you guys wanted to prove for coming here but you're wasting my time so I suggest you also scram" Damian immediately pulled a chair and sat down. I was glad to see him equally annoyed as I am right now. "Does this imply that you trust him more than me?" Asked Ceasar " this means nothing so scram!", "you don't get to order me around like that!"
"And you do? Why because you see me as your maid!"
That took all of them by surprise especially him " I never said that", "you don't have to say it Ceasar actions speak louder than words,". He sighed seemingly more calm than he was a minute ago " I didn't mea-" I didn't let him finish " it's better for all of you to leave". I don't know why he now had a pained expression and it doesn't matter because right now I have to prioritize. Not that he isn't one of my priorities but I have to do this too. " Okay...if that's what you want then we'll leave" yeah stupid I said it didn't I.
I took a deep breath when they were finally out of the library and the silence returned like the drama never happened at all. I got really confused when seeing Damian hand me a small tissue, what is it for? I then felt the fresh warm tears on my cheeks. I was really crying all this time but I didn't hear it in my voice. Is that why Ceasar had a pained expression on his face, he must've felt bad for me and I hate it! I was trying so hard to act tough and not back down while not knowing that I had a face full of tears. I must've looked so weak and stupid trying to be tough, it's clear that it's something I'm not. I took the small tissue in his hand and wiped my tears, no use feeling terrible about it.
"I'm really sorry about that, I didn't know it would cause such a reaction. I hope It wasn't an inconvenience for you" don't know why I sounded professional all of a sudden. I faked a smile when seeing him shrug and say "it's nothing new", "yeah I guess so". After a few seconds of an awkward silence he cleared his throat probably reminding me to talk and tell me what I needed from him. Knowing that the lunch break is about to end soon I didn't waste time, and so I began.
"I need your help with..."
