Jacob

After having breakfast in the dining hall we started with the classes and I found out that there's only two weeks until exams. That's not good. There are so many things they may distract me but I guess I will just have to work smart that's all. Failing in any of the things I have to do is not an option. I will have to say that it was very hard to focus on the class while knowing Ceasar was on the back openly staring at me. Also, it was very awkward to see that the seat next to mine was empty, that is where Sera would normally sit. I didn't dare to search for her new place because it'll be a waste of time.

Finally it's now lunch break, I went in the direction of the dining hall bracing myself for the whispers and a lonely walk there. I'm not gonna change my speed of walking because of the opinions of others. They can gossip all they want " what a lovely determined face" I couldn't control my face when hearing that from a voice I recognize very well. " So you're not only being bold in class, you're now shamelessly following me", " following you to where?" I Inwardly facepalm myself when realizing what he means with that question. It's obvious that I'm heading to the dining hall to eat something just like what most of the students are going to do. He is also included.

"Go away!" I was now too embarrassed to answer and the stupid smirk on his face was not helping at all. " Go where cause I want to go eat in the dining hall but I'm curious about you, where are you going exactly?" Tch he is not going to let this go isn't he but the teasing and the obvious attention he is giving me does feel nice. It'll only be a matter of time until everyone catches on and I feel like that is what he wants. " You're a bully for enjoying this too much, not even a week has passed and you're already teasing me!" He in return wrapped one arm around my waist" now I wouldn't say bully, I was just asking a simple question " I couldn't even comprehend what he said as I was too aware of his arm that gently wrapped around my waist while we walked. I wasn't the only one who was aware as everyone in the hallway had their eyes on us.

"Are you crazy?" I asked, trying to make him realize what he is doing will make everyone know or suspect worse but I regretted doing so. "If I'm crazy then isn't it your doing"

"...!"

I sighed and just accepted this for now but we were going to talk about it later when we're alone. Even thinking about being alone with him is making me feel funny.

I shook my head to clear my head because I needed to focus, when entering the dining hall I got the usual. Burgers and fries were on my tray while Ceasar had an energy drink. We are also going to talk about that. As soon as I settled down on the chair I started munching quickly finishing everything in less than three minutes. " Damn were you that hungry?" Asked Cedric and I shook my head not caring to explain as I stood up to leave. "Okay then I'll see you guys later" right after saying that Ceasar also stood up and that just brought a sense of dread.

It was Peter that asked"Wait the two of you have somewhere to be?" I was about to say no but Ceasar beat me to it "yes 'we' do" why you little..."of course they do! It's normal for lovebirds to want some alone time. They're probably going to share that cake away from us" said Cedric looking at Peter like he was an idiot for asking that. I blinked at Ceasar seeing him take the cake in one hand and the other took mine in which he dragged us out of the dining hall. We walked for a while in silence having no particular destination then I remembered that I don't have much time.

"What are you doing and where are we going ?" "I don't know, you tell me" somehow I could feel that he was a bit annoyed and I just can't understand why. "I have something very important to do and I don't have much time since the lunch break is just an hour".

"If it's so important then why didn't you tell me?" Oh I see so that's why he is annoyed, well it isn't unreasonable but because of the person he is he can over react to things. I wonder if he knows that he has some anger issues? "Okay I'm sorry, I just wanted to do this on my own like 'i usually would'" , " well things have changed and I'm going to help whether you like it or not" aggressive but sweet. "Okay help me find Jacob it's important that I convince him to do something" although his eyes narrowed when hearing the name Jacob he still nodded in the end.

Thanks to Ceasar threatening a bunch of students we ended up finding out that he was seen entering the half burnt forest. Of course he is probably by the lake since he really likes that spot. We found him throwing rocks across the lake and he was the only one, not a lot of students come here after what happened since the forest is no longer appealing to the eye.

"What do you want?" Jacob asked while still having his back facing us refusing to stop looking at the lake. The lake remained not tainted by that fire.

"You should turn around and see if you should be using that tone or not" answered Ceasar and his answer took me by surprise " tch Ceasar and your arrogance. I'll ask again what it is that you want?" Jacob sounded very different from his usual happy and cheerful persona, maybe he is being like this because of Ceasar?

"And I also know that you're here Dintle so better talk quickly and leave" nope this answers the question. it's definitely not because of Ceasar, he really isn't okay. He sounds devoid of joy that once thought it's even enough for the whole world with how goofy he was. Well there's no point going around the bush.

" I want to talk about you and Sera!"
