Chapter 56: Kidnapped
After our council meeting, I went to bed early. I was exhausted from everything happening all at once, and now I am in charge of setting up the arrangements for the
cast-aways.

I already woke Sasha early this morning to get ready before our departure back to the human town. Today I want to get an early start. We had a long drive back to town. I have to open the shop today. It is bad for business, to keep the doors shut for too long. I've also sent a message to Uncle Buck, saying that I have returned and that I will see him after we have closed the store tonight.

Jack and Matt left early this morning on their patrol across the borders. Sasha and I are going to return to town while Matt arranges for their departure to Italy tomorrow. I am glad for them, to just be away for a little while, even though it is not for long, they deserved it.

Matt arranged for another Omega girl to come and help me at the store while Sasha was away. Shasa will help the girl today, by showing her the ropes around the store. I must say, I am super excited to see the store again. While I was away, I got so many inspirations of things I wanted to add to the store that I think will benefit the community.

My breakfast was just about finished when Sasha came waddling through the glass doors with sunglasses on.

" Late night?" she groans, sitting down in the chair next to me.

" Late is an understatement. Matt and I painted the city red last night." She lays with her head on the table.

" Sounds like you had an interesting night." I laugh.

" It was the best night of my life. Matt was so romantic, he took me to see a movie, and afterward, we went for dinner. We decided to take a walk through the city after dinner and came across this cute little bar where we danced the entire night. I am so tired, you wouldn't even understand, but it was all worth it." I lean over and rub her back while she places her head back on the table, laying on her arms.

After Sasha had her cup of coffee, she somewhat looked like herself again as we set off to pick up the other Omega somewhere in the city. This time I made sure that I went to the bathroom before we left.

It was a thirty-minute ride when we stopped in front of a quaint little house covered with vines and flowers in full bloom. Sasha climbs out of the carriage and walks up to the house. She rings a little bell hanging next to the door. A young girl with short light brown hair and blue eyes opens the door. Sasha and the girl greet each other before walking back to the carriage.

" Allie I would like you to meet Becky. She is the one who will be filling in for me for the few days that I am away." I smile politely, holding a hand out to Becky. She hesitated for a moment before taking my hand.

" It is nice to meet you your Magisty. She curtesy's."

" No need for curtsy's. Please, call me by my name. Besides, we can't use such formal words in a town full of humans." I can see a slight smile peeking through the corner of her mouth as she climbs into the carriage. She takes a seat next to Sasha, and I can't help but notice how young she looks.

" Sorry to pry. If you don't mind me asking. How old are you now?" She looks to Sasha for approval and she nods.

" I am turning seventeen next week Miss." She says with a shy little voice, reminding me of a sweet little girl. She reminds me a lot of myself when I was her age.

" Do you like to read Becky? " I try to make conversation to get to know her a little better.

" Oh, Yes. I love to read. I get so lost in books that I completely forget what is going on around me." She says excitedly. I can already see her starting to relax a bit more. Sasha gives me a wink.

When we reach the border gates, we switch the carriage for one of Jack's cars, before heading through the forest. The road is so peaceful that I let down my window for fresh air.

" Allie look out! " Shasa shouts. I look up, noticing big wolves standing in the road. I slam the brakes hard, causing the car to go off the road, crashing into a big tree. The crash caused my vision to go blurry. I hear Becky screaming, I try to look behind me, but my vision is too blurry. I notice that Sasha is out of the seat next to me. I see a blurred image of wolves fighting before my head starts spinning and everything goes black.

My head throbs with, and the sound of ringing in my ears. I try to open my eyes, but everything is dark. I can feel some sort of fabric covering my eyes. When I try to reach for it, my hands are unable to move. My arms are tied up as well. What the hell is going on? I wonder.

" Look, the princess is awake." A strange voice says. The voice doesn't sound familiar.

" I wonder what the Prince will do when he finds out that his precious little Mate is missing." I hear a woman's voice in the distance. The voice sounds vaguely familiar, but I can't wrap my head around it.

" W.Who is there?" I ask, but it comes out as a stutter. I hear footsteps approaching until it goes quiet, when suddenly a hand strokes the side of my face. I yank away, causing the chair to tip over, slamming my head onto the floor. I scream with pain. The tears fighting to come out, but I hold it back.

" Leave her there. That will teach her not to be so cheeky." The female voice says.

After a few minutes, I heard a door closing and everything was quiet. I take the opportunity to try to get my arms free. The ropes are fastened so tight that it feels like the rope is tearing into my skin the more I try to wriggle free. I don't give up there. I must get out of here wherever it is they have me captive.

As I struggled to set my hands free, I realized that I hadn't heard Sasha or Becky's voice here with me.

" Sasha?...Becky? " I call out in a whisper, but there is no answer. The last thing I remembered was the car crashing into the tree. " Oh God! Please be okay peanut. I can only pray that the baby is okay. Sasha's seat next to me in the car was empty and a bunch of wolves were fighting. Was Sasha the one fighting with them? What happened to her and Becky? The tears return, and this time I am unable to hold them back. I sob into the fabric that was covering my eyes, making my eyes sting from the salty tears. I cried until there weren't any tears left in me and I was completely drained of all my energy, trying to get free.

I lay there on the floor for God knows how long. In utter silence and darkness. No voices, no sound coming from any direction. It was so quiet that I almost wished that my kidnappers would return.

What do they want from me? I don't have any valuable items on me. I remember the guy calling me princess, so they must have captured me in order to bribe Jack or something. Or they might have some vendetta against him and that is why they captured me. No matter what happens, I can't tell them about the baby. They might want to kill us both to get back at Jack. I quiver just at the thought of that being true.

I pray that Jack notices that I am missing and they come looking for me soon.

My body started to ache all over when a noise came from one side of the room. It sounds like a key fiddleing in a door and the next moment, I hear what sounds like heels approaching me.

" Who is there? " I dare to ask. No one answers, but I can hear the breathing next to me.

" I can hear you." I barely said it when I started lifting from the ground, turning in an upright position.

" Good, I want you to hear me. You know, I had a great plan before you came and ruined everything. I could have been Luna know."

" Nickie? " Now I realize why that voice sounded so familiar.

" Ding, Ding. That's right sugar. The one and only. Do you know how long I had to hide and wait for a chance to get my paws on you? I had to hide like a criminal from my pack. My own cousin tried to hunt me down.

" That is your own fault!" the words barely left my mouth as her hand collided with my cheek. It stings like crazy, but I try not to cry. I don't want to show her any weakness even though she is a werewolf and I am nothing but a human.

" Like I was saying before you so rudely interrupted me. My cousin was hunting me down like I had killed someone. But, while I was away, I was fortunate enough to make some friends, and used them to create a distraction to lure Jack and Matt away, giving me a chance to strike."
