Fascinating!
I thought as I causally sipped the red blood in my wine glass while gazing out if the window at the rising sun through the glass.
The sun is indeed the mortal enemies of all vampires. We are allowed to watch from afar but can never get too close. The sun god must have really hated us to make us weak against his creation. What if Kate's blood can help prevent our skin from getting burnt under that glare of the sun?
It's possible if her blood is as powerful as L said. I can't believe the King and his son kept her blood a secret from the council.

I thought about prince Domenic and how he apologized and bowed his head to me. The vampire prince Domenic Darkshadow, cruel and powerful, stubborn and arrogant, bowed his head to his most hated enemy just because of a human girl. He just confirms the fact that Kate really is special.
I thought about the said human girl and felt my skin tingle. She's the prettiest thing I have ever seen, and she smells so nice like she wasn't made from this world, like she wasn't a disgusting human.
Just the sight of her made my blood boil hot with desire. The smell of her sweet tempting blood are slowly becoming the subject of my fantasies. I wanted her. I wanted her sweet blood, her mesmerizing body, her cute innocent face filled with expressions of pain and pleasure as I used her for my own needs.

The door to my guest room opened and one of the King's men walked in. He was the one who had told me about Kate even before I came to the palace to celebrate the King's recovery.
Apparently Kate blood had been the key to the King's recovery. We had all thought that he would die after getting wounded by the deadly shadow monsters, but alas he had a secret medicine to keep him alive.
It was another reason why I needed to have Kate. Her blood could be the key to me gaining powers, powers greater than any the world has ever seen. Maybe then I can be able to take over the world. If the shadow monsters successfully destroy every other specie in the supernatural world, we will then fight against them and have our victory, then we will be the only creatures in the supernatural world.
It had been the dream I had for so long. I wanted the vampire to take over the world, but King Nicolas is too weak. Nothing but a pussy. He shouldn't have become the king, and yet he wants to make that arrogant son of his the King after him. If I don't want that to happen, I need to become powerful enough to take the throne for myself and that's why I needed Kate.
"Did everything go as planned?" L asked, his red eyes blinking at me.
I sighed and set aside my glass of blood on a nearby table. "Everything didn't go as planned L. The prince actually apologized for her sake. He must really want to keep her to himself. He probably wants her blood all to himself so he would become powerful."
L shook his head. "I know the prince well. It doesn't seem like all he wants is her blood. I fear the prince might be falling for Kate just as his father the king fell for a human in the past." L scrunched up his face in disgust. "I should have known he would show his true colors sooner or later."
"Whatever it is, the King and the Prince do not want me taking Kate, and if I had insisted on it after Domenic apologized, they would suspect me and think I know something about her blood. That would only get you in trouble."
He sighed knowing I was right. "We shouldn't give up so easily though. We have to find some other way for you to take her. We need her to make our dreams come true!"
L has been my partner in crime for several centuries now. We both wanted to see a world where only vampires rule. He was my eyes and ears in the palace, the only reason why I could keep the king and the Prince in check.
"What do you suggest?" I asked him curiously. Seeing how infatuated the Prince is with Kate, it is going to be hard to take her.
I have known Domenic for a long time now. He might be hated by the council and some of the vampires for being half human, but Domenic is very powerful. I would say he is second only to his sister, but too powerful for a half human. Moreover he is fearless. If he cares for Kate the way I think he does, he wouldn't mind invading my coven to get her back if I ever took her, and I know he would.
I remembered his threat and how it had made me angry. I really hated that man!
"We must he wary of Domenic." L spoke my exact same thoughts. "If we must take Kate, we have to do it in a way he doesn't know it's you." He looked at me seriously. "You must return to your coven soon, she will be delivered to you later on. In that way, no one will suspect you took her."
I looked at him sceptically. "Are you sure that's going to work?"
"We must try it first and see how it goes." He insisted.
"What about you? Won't you get caught?"
He grinned darkly. "You know me Giron. I am always careful. Both the King and the Prince trust me completely. I'll make sure I don't get caught."
I nodded convinced by his words. L is very capable and I'm sure he would handle this mission flawlessly as always.
I smiled as I thought about Kate. I can't wait to carry out my dark fantasies on her.
