Chapter 174 For Olivia’s Sake

Chapter 174 For Olivia’s Sake

When Thomas heard what I said, he gave an awkward laugh.

He said, "Andrew, the Gonzalez family has been having a really tough time lately. Not only have our investments failed, but we also can't get paid for some projects we've completed."

"Because we owed your Lopez family money before, Maximus sued us. The Gonzalez family is really struggling right now. I'm hoping you can show some mercy and let the Gonzalez family off the hook. What do you say?"

Thomas' words made me look at him sideways.

Just then, Thea came over too. She put on a friendly smile and said to me, "Here's the thing, Andrew. I had a bad attitude before, and today I want to apologize to you. As long as you're willing to let the Gonzalez family go, I promise all of Olivia's belongings will be delivered to you."

"Just for Olivia's sake."

"If she knew that you drove the Gonzalez family to bankruptcy, she definitely wouldn't be able to rest in peace, right?"

It would have been fine if Thea hadn't mentioned Olivia, but bringing her up really hit a nerve with me.

I had been sitting, but I instantly stood up.

Usually very composed, I started yelling at the two-faced Thea.

"Everyone else in this world has the right to mention Olivia to me, except you! Who the hell do you think you are? What makes you worthy of bringing up Olivia?"

My sudden anger shocked everyone present, including Thomas.

He stood up shakily, forcing a smile as he said to me, "Andrew, why are you getting so angry? Let's talk this through calmly."

I was already furious, and Thomas' words made me even angrier.

Thea saw herself as an elder, and being yelled at like this by me made her feel humiliated.

Unwilling to back down, she said, "Why don't I have the right to mention Olivia? I'm her aunt."

"Yes, you're her aunt, but when you sent people to kill her back then, did you remember you were her aunt?"

My words were like a bomb thrown into the living room. Thea seemed like I had hit a sore spot, and her body swayed.

"You're talking nonsense. I didn't do that." She denied it, but her tone was clearly guilty.

People who have done bad things, no matter how well they pretend, can't stay calm and composed when faced with the truth.

"You didn't? So I'm wrongly accusing you?"

"Let me ask you, if you didn't do it, why did you put a tracking device on Olivia's car when she went out that day?"

"And why did the two killers who murdered Olivia meet with you afterward? Why did a large sum of money leave your personal account after Olivia died?"

"The only reason I haven't sent you to prison yet is because I haven't tracked down those two killers. It won't be long before I drag those bastards out, and then let's see how you deny it."

Faced with the evidence I threw at her, Thea was clearly panicking.

Looking at Thomas, he stared at this woman he'd lived with for nearly a lifetime with disbelief.

Clearly, Thomas didn't know about the information I had just revealed.

But Nancy, standing not far away, showed no reaction at all. Thea obviously hadn't hidden the fact that she hired killers to murder Olivia from Nancy.

The mother and daughter were clearly birds of a feather.

Seeing that I hadn't tracked down those two killers yet, Thea became confident again.

She lifted her face with a defiant look and confronted me, "Andrew, you're slandering me!"

"Olivia was my niece after all. How could I possibly kill her? That doesn't make sense."

I snorted coldly. At this moment, Thea's shamelessness was fully on display in front of me. I finally realized that she wouldn't give up until she was completely defeated.

"No reason? Then let me ask you, how did Olivia's parents die? How did that car accident suddenly happen? Do you dare swear that Olivia's parents' deaths had nothing to do with you?"

I stared at Thea's face. Her face flushed red.

I continued, "As long as Olivia was alive, she had a share of the Gonzalez family fortune. You weren't willing to share the Gonzalez family assets with Olivia, so you killed her."

"You vicious woman, for money, you really threw away all your conscience. Olivia was so innocent, how much of the Gonzalez family fortune could she have taken? Did you really need to get rid of such an innocent girl?"

"Since you need the Gonzalez family's money so badly, since you can do all kinds of evil things for money, then I need to let you know that even if Olivia doesn't get a share of the Gonzalez family fortune, you won't get a penny either."

"I'd rather destroy the Gonzalez family than let your schemes that you've been plotting for so many years succeed."

I looked straight into Thea's eyes. There was clearly a trace of fear in them.

Having said everything I needed to say, not wanting to waste any more time, I turned to leave.

Just then, my body suddenly swayed, and then a strange dizziness suddenly rushed to my head.

I turned to look at the teacup I had just drunk from, and a bad feeling came over me. Could it be that the Gonzalez family had tricked me into coming here to harm me?

The Gonzalez family really deserved to die.

Realizing something was wrong, I tried to stay calm. I lifted my foot to leave, but an even stronger wave of dizziness hit me again.

At the same time, my body started getting inexplicably hot, and an uncontrollable desire surged up from my lower abdomen. Being experienced, I immediately realized that the Gonzalez family had probably drugged me with an aphrodisiac.

I staggered forward, trying to leave. As my vision blurred, I saw a cold smile appear at the corner of Thea's mouth.

She said, "Andrew, you're still too young. You're far from being able to compete with me."

After Thea finished speaking, she turned and gave a signal. Nancy, who was standing not far away, walked toward me.

She came up beside me, and the scent of her perfume immediately rushed into my nostrils. The desire I was trying to suppress grew stronger and stronger.

Nancy reached out to support my arm, using her affected voice to seduce me.

"Andrew, it's me. I'm Olivia."

"You're tired. Come on, let me help you upstairs to rest."

As she spoke, Nancy supported my body and tried to drag me upstairs.
