Chapter 102 Chapter 102

Chapter 102 Chapter 102
Eric’s POV

“You sure it's safe for you to leave?” I asked with a sober voice, but I chose to stay strong. Bella might not be someone I could call friend or enemy, but I wouldn't let a pregnant woman suffer and lose her baby. For the few times we've spent together, I've got to know that Aaron had been the one manipulating her for long.

“Yes, I'm sure. This is umpteenth time you'd be asking me that. It's for the best, and I want a simple life. If I don't belong here, then maybe I don't also belong anywhere in this country. I just hope we still stay in touch, Agatha.” She muttered with glistening eyes.

“Damn it. Don't fucking shed tears,” I bit my lips to suppress mine.

“We have to leave now, Bella.” Dad's voice came from the door and Bella bolted towards him, waving at me.

“Let's get in touch, and give me updates if anything pops up, okay?” She said.

“Sure, I will. Bye.”

“Bye.”

It hasn't been up to three and half hours since Dad took Bella to the airport for her night flight when Aaron knocked on my door, and was now in my house.

Thankfully, Mom was still dozing off.

“What do you think you're doing her, Aaron?” I asked with disbelief and anger.

“I know you were the one who took Bella from the hospital, Agatha. What do you take me for? A fool? Where the hell is Bella?” He rebutted with a question.

“What you're doing is trespassing! You aren't supposed to be in here! And I have no clue what you're talking about!” I fired back.

Instead, he laughed sickly. “You are hilarious, aren't you? You are trying to use her against me, aren't you? You sent her back to the mansion, didn't you?”

Damn, this bastard wasn't senseless after all.

“You don't have any evidence of what you're spewing, Aaron.” I muttered.

“Oh, but I have your dear maid, Sasha as evidence. Instead, I'll say you're the one trespassing, Agatha. You used her against me too, didn't you?”

“Like I said, I don't know what the fuck you're referring to, so leave before anyone sees.” I replied with a huff.

“This isn't the end, Agatha. There's still more to come and if you are not going to be giving up Bella, you might just as well be dragging yourself into a mess.” He warned.

“Is that a threat, Aaron Walker?” I retorted.

“Did I say it was, Agatha Sloan?”

Damn you. I wanted to say it loud but I refrained.

“Leave my house.” I ordered sternly.

“I was going to do that. By the way, where's Mr Landon and Mrs Corazon? Perhaps I could give them my grief of their son in pri-”

“Leave!!!”

He was a fucking annoying existing being.

“How well have you been trying to bring him out of there, Agatha?” He snorted. “Don't tell me you are clueless.” He added in a mockery tone.

“If I were you, I won't be keeping my hopes high of what the future holds, Aaron. I won't be a proud peacock just like how you're doing currently because it won't last long.” I remarked.

“Oh, thank you for the lame advice, Agatha. It was nice hearing that from someone like you.” He snorted again.

Pig.

“What's going on?” I heard Mom's voice out of the blues and Aaron's eyes drifted to the direction... The stairs.

Mom was leaning on the rails as she maneuvered to us with a befuddled look.

Oh my God. This bastard was going to tarnish everything immediately if I don't put this to an end.

“It's nothing, Mom. Aaron was just about leaving.” I flashed a sickly smile and turned to Aaron who had a stupid grin on his face.

“Good evening to you, Mrs Corazon. I asked about you when I came here.” He spoke, and I was deadpanned. I badly wanted to scream at him to leave, but I couldn't.

“What brings you here, Aaron?” I could sense the anger that came from Mom's voice as she inquired.

“Easy, woman. I just came for a visit, isn't that right, Agatha?” He retorted to me.

“You don't have any visit with me, so leave.” I frowned.

“Have a wonderful night, and I hope you grief properly, Mrs Corazon.”

What the fuck?!

Mom's jaw dropped open as she gazed at me and I knew I was down for.

“Grief? What do you mean?”

Aaron ached his brows at me and back at Mom. “Wait... You don't know?” He pressed forward.

And it soon dawned one that it was too late to make him leave because even if he wanted to, this bastard wasn't willing to yet.

“What is he saying, Agatha?” Mom faced me with a look that required an explanation.

Awkwardly, he laughed as if realizing everything. “She didn't tell you, did she?” He asked and Mom became more confused.

“Wha-”

“Your dear son is currently in prison, and he'll spend the rest of his life there for the accusation made against him. The daughter-in-law of yours as well have gone missing for quite long, and still no traces even -”

He hasn't finished speaking when Mom started gasping for air, her hand clutching to her chest tight, and before I could reach out to her, she fell right on the floor.

“Mom!”

“Mom!”

“Mom!”

Fucking hell... I raised my head up but there wasn't any sight of Aaron around anymore. The bastard had gotten what he wanted.

I was afraid of telling her. Mom would get back her seizure and heart attack, and the bastard caused it.

“Call the ambulance! Call the ambulance!”

“Dad!!!”

The maids ran helter-skelter to pull a call through the ambulance and after some minutes, the ambulance reached our surrounding as Mom was taken to the hospital.

“Mom... Nothing is going to happen to you,” I sniffled.

Aaron-fucking-Walker, I swear I'd hate you for the rest of my life, and you should be prepared for my own wrath.
