If I Win, You Owe Me Three Kisses
Friday had arrived, and with it came the general training session for the entire team. It was a day dedicated to honing their skills and ensuring their abilities remained sharp.
Kathryn and Antonio were present at the shooting range, engaging in intense training.
“Wow, even after being promoted to the hacking team, you’re still an incredible sharp shooter,” Kat remarked, a smile playing on her lips.
Anton pulled off his protective glasses and looked at her, returning the smile.
“Thanks,” he replied, his voice filled with a sense of pride.
“But I’m sharper than you. I bet you can’t shoot three bullets into the same hole in five seconds,” Kat smirked, challenging him
Anton returned her smirk. “Is that a bet? The first person to achieve it gets to ask for anything they want from the other person.”
“Deal,” She agreed confidently. “If I win, you owe me a brand new car for my birthday.”
Anton’s smile widened mischievously. “And if I win, you owe me three kisses.”
Kat paused, momentarily shocked by his bold request. She wondered if she had misheard him, but quickly shook off the thought. “Deal,” she said, determined not to back down.
Both competitors put on their protective lenses and readied their guns.
“Ready?” he counted down. “On the count of four. Four, three, two, one… Go!”
The sound of gunfire filled the air as both Indigo and Scythe began shooting simultaneously. They aimed with precision, their hands and eyes working in perfect harmony as they fired round after round. Five seconds felt like an eternity as they focused on their targets.
As the time ended, Kat let out a frustrated curse and threw down her gun. She had missed the last bullet, her aim just slightly off.
“It looks like I’ve won,” Anton declared, a victorious smirk on his face as he pulled off his protective glasses.
“Let’s have a rematch. My hands were sweaty, and I didn’t have a good grip on my gun. I know I can do better this time…” Kat began to say, eager for another chance to prove herself.
Before she could finish her statement, Anton quickly grabbed her by the waist, pulling her towards him. She stumbled and landed against his chest, their lips meeting unexpectedly in the process.
Her eyes widened in surprise, and she froze in his arms. She blinked rapidly as she stared at him, trying to process what had just happened.
He kissed her for a few more seconds before breaking the kiss. He gently rubbed her lower lip with his thumb, causing her to shiver involuntarily.
“Two more kisses to go,” he said, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. With that, he released her and picked up his gun, walking away as if nothing had happened.
Kat touched her lips, still feeling the tingling sensation from the unexpected kiss. She looked at him, her mind swirling with confusion and questions.
“What… What just happened?” she muttered to herself, trying to make sense of the sudden intimacy between them.
Meanwhile, Anton walked out of the shooting range, only to spot Killian leaning against the wall, his trademark bubblegum popped in his mouth as he casually watched the scene unfold.
“My sister… You like her, don’t you?” Killian stated matter-of-factly, looking up to meet Anton’s gaze.
Anton faced him, his expression confirming what Killian had just said. “Yes, I’ve liked her for a long time now,” he admitted, his voice filled with a mix of fondness and longing.
Killian scoffed, a playful smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. He had suspected this all along.
He advanced towards Anton, his expression skeptical. “Don’t you think you’re too old for her?” he questioned, his voice filled with protectiveness.
Anton met his gaze, his eyes calm and unwavering. “Next week, she’ll be 20, and I’m only 24. It’s just a four-year difference,” he replied, trying to reassure Killian.
“It’s not just about the age difference,” Killian retorted, his voice filled with distrust. “I still don’t trust you, but I trust that Forty guy even less. Both of you seem like players to me,” he added, his tone firm and unwavering.
Anton remained silent, his usual calm demeanor in place as he listened to Killian’s words. He understood the younger man’s concern and knew he had to earn his trust.
“You may be older, but remember, if you hurt my sister, I won’t hesitate to rip you to shreds. You know I can,” Killian warned, his words laced with determination and protectiveness. With that, he turned and walked away, leaving Anton to contemplate the warning.
“That kid,” Anton sighed softly, shaking his head in both amusement and understanding. He had expected his reaction and knew he had to prove his sincerity and intentions.
Leaving the conversation behind, Anton walked away, his thoughts filled with the complicated situation at hand.

Salvatore could be seen in the gym hall, his muscular frame glistening with sweat as he lifted weights. He was shirtless, wearing only a pair of black shorts that showcased his perfectly sculpted physique and enticing tattoos.
Callixta entered the gym and approached him, her voice filled with remorse and regret. “Salvatore, I’m sorry,” she muttered, hoping to catch his attention.
However, he didn’t spare her a glance, his focus solely on his workout. The tension in the room was palpable, and Callixta’s apology seemed to go unheard.
His muscles flexed as he continued to lift the weights, appearing lost in his thoughts. The air between them was heavy with unresolved emotions and unspoken words.
Callixta sighed, her heart heavy with remorse, as she stood in front of Salvatore in the gym. She searched for the right words to apologize, knowing she had made a foolish mistake.
“Sal,” she began, her voice soft and filled with sincerity.
“Leave if you aren’t here to work out,” He muttered, his tone distant as he continued to focus on his exercise. He seemed lost in his own world, shutting her out.
Undeterred, Callixta stood her ground. She was determined to make things right between them.
“Sal, I’m really sorry, okay?” she pleaded, her voice earnest. “It was incredibly stupid of me to do that on your back, and I deeply regret it. To show you how much I truly mean it, I will go and apologize to her later. We’re friends, Sal, and I don’t want to lose that. Please don’t shut me out of your life.”
There was a pause in the room as he let her words sink in. He dropped the weights and finally looked at her, the intensity in his gaze undeniable. He nodded gently, acknowledging her apology.
Callixta’s lips curved into a grateful smile, relief washing over her. “Thank you,” she whispered, hoping that their friendship could withstand this test.
With newfound hope, Callixta suggested, “Let’s go to the fighting arena and train. I bet I can beat you now.”
Salvatore smirked, a spark of amusement in his eyes. “More than ten years gone, and you still have hopes of beating me? I like your confidence,” he teased, a hint of playfulness in his voice. The tension between them began to ease, and Callixta laughed, the sound filling the room.
