Chapter 60 Sleeping Together

Chapter 60 Sleeping Together

Killian had always been sharp, and he knew Lila had a lot of secrets.

But he wasn't in a hurry. Uncovering them one by one would be way more interesting.

"He got lucky this time. There'll be other chances. Right now, there's something more important to handle."

With that, he grabbed Lila without hesitation and pushed her into his car.

Lila was about to protest when his phone rang.

The car sped off, and after hanging up, Killian called out her name, "I've kept my promises. Now, isn't it time for you to hold up your end of the deal?"

"My end of the deal?" Lila crossed her arms defensively. "Right here!"

Killian, irritated, said, "What are you thinking? I meant, come with me to see Grandpa. He got discharged early."

"Oh, I see." She let out a sigh of relief.

"Are we going now?"

Lila pretended to ask casually, but her question was met with silence.

Her good mood ruined, Lila returned to the Hart residence full of resentment.

In the dining room, Eleanor saw her return and quickly grabbed her hand, pulling her close with enthusiasm. "Sweetie, I heard from Killian that you two got your marriage certificate today?"

"Yes, Grandma." Lila confidently showed Eleanor the marriage certificate.

"Good!" Eleanor said, repeating herself in delight. "Since you have the certificate, why don't we pick a good day and have the wedding too?"

Eleanor genuinely liked Lila.

In their social circle, at the Hart family's level, they no longer needed to marry for status or wealth.

Besides, Lila had saved the Hart family once.

So a proper wedding should be scheduled soon.

"Grandma," Lila was taken aback.

Was there something wrong with Killian? Why was his family so eager to arrange the wedding?

"Grandpa's health hasn't fully recovered. We should wait until he's better before planning the wedding."

"Such a considerate child," Eleanor praised again. "You must be starving after being out all day. Let's eat first!"

At Eleanor's command, the servants began serving the dishes.

Soon, the table was filled with various dishes.

"Lila, eat more. There's plenty in the kitchen if you need more."

Lila poked at the sea cucumber on her plate with her fork, feeling a bit overwhelmed.

But her mood was nothing compared to Killian's, who had just returned.

He threw down his fork. "I'm not hungry. You all eat."

With a glance from Eleanor, the servant brought a bowl of soup to Killian. "Mr. Hart, this is a special tonic Mr. Eleanor Hart made for you today."

"No need, I'm perfectly healthy," Killian refused, ready to leave.

But Eleanor couldn't hold back. "You are certainly healthy, but remember, there's a seriously ill patient at home. If you overwork yourself and catch a cold, you could pass it to your grandfather. How could I be at ease? So, as a precaution, everyone in the Hart family must drink the tonic."

Eleanor's firm words left Killian with no excuse to refuse.

He picked up the bowl, sniffed it, and drank it all in one go before storming off to his room.

"Lila, is the food not to your taste?" With Killian gone, Eleanor turned all her attention to Lila.

"No, it's fine."

"Then eat more," Eleanor said, piling food onto Lila's plate.

Lila, already starving, suddenly remembered she wouldn't be sharing a room with Killian tonight.

With that thought, she dug in heartily.

After checking on Kai, she happily headed to her guest room to rest.

Just as her hand reached the doorknob, Eleanor's voice called out in surprise, "Lila, did you go to the wrong room? Killian's room is on the second floor!"

Five minutes later, Lila found herself pushed into the master bedroom.

Killian had just finished his shower, wearing only a white towel around his waist.

Water droplets from his dark hair trailed down his handsome face, over his collarbone, and down his abs...

"Have you seen enough?"

"Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean to intrude. I'll leave now."

She was about to leave when she was suddenly pulled into a warm, firm embrace.

Lila tensed up, ready to resist, but Killian's face was already close.

His cool lips pressed against hers, his hands holding her in place as their tongues intertwined passionately.

The large bedroom was filled with an unprecedentedly sensual atmosphere.

Lila felt like she was melting into his strong body.

Killian could clearly feel the softness pressed against his chest, even through their clothes.

Her mouth still carried the faint taste of milk from earlier.

The subtle sweetness tantalized his taste buds.

Killian had never realized how easily his self-control could be shattered.

And he didn't regret it.

Killian finally released Lila.

The kiss felt like a punishment.

Lila's lips were swollen and red, with faint traces of blood.

Her eyes were dazed, shimmering with a seductive light.

"Lila..." he whispered.

"Are you crazy?"

Lila's face was flushed, her eyes wide and focused on him, making Killian's heart race.

"You know what kind of soup I just drank, right? Grandma meant well. Are you regretting it?"

"Regret? No, why would I regret it?" Lila pouted, speaking in the most flirtatious tone. "After trying it that day, I was very satisfied. You're much better than other men."

"What, have you tried others?" He questioned.

Lila blinked, sensing the dangerous aura emanating from him.

She quickly shook her head, trying to appease him.

"Of course not. Compared to you, there's no need to try anyone else."

Looking at the alluring Lila, Killian's eyes darkened.

He was never a gentleman, and if Lila approached him with a purpose, he might as well take some interest first.

Killian decided to teach Lila a lesson.

He kissed her again, capturing her soft lips and sucking hard.

His agile tongue pried open her mouth, exploring and tasting her sweetness.

His large hands roamed her waist, sometimes caressing slowly, sometimes teasingly squeezing.

Soon, Lila was clinging to him like a vine, letting him do as he pleased.

When his hand ventured between her legs, Lila's fingers tightened around his broad shoulders, clinging to him like a lifeline.
