After Monalisa cooked the spaghetti carbonara, Steve picked up the pot and placed it on the table.
"Hmmm, thats smell so good. Let's eat now, Monalisa." He even put it on the plate of carbonara. "Here, eat a lot, okay?"
With a smile on her face, Monalisa nodded to Steve. When she tasted her own cooking earlier, it was a bit salty, but now, wow, it tastes so good. Not perfect, but really good.
"So, delicious. "You are a good chief, Monalisa," Steve complimented the woman.
Thank you," she said, infact that she had studied culinary but had not finished the course due to the cost. Then she met Archie. It assured him of a prosperous future. They are genuinely in love. Because she relied on him when she arrived in Manila, she felt this way towards him.
After they ate, they even worked together to clean up when they used that moment. They were like a real couple. Steve has nothing else to say to himself but "hope." I hope they are like this forever. And he hope that Monalisa never leaves his House. And much more hope Steve thought of.
"Monalisa, stay here." I need you to go to the office first to sign a document. I'll be right back when I'm finished, "Steve said."
Monalisa is confused with Steve; he shouldn't say goodbye to her like that. She didn't want to think, but it seemed like Steve liked her. Or maybe she just doesn't notice. "All right, I'm not leaving here until you're not at home."
Steve went to the bag of books. "Monalisa, so you don't get bored, read a book a lot here. Or you watch TV. Maybe you like dramas and so on.
Monalisa smiled. Yes, he loves watching Kdrama and Cdrama, even Tdrama. It's beautiful and exciting. "Don't worry about me, Steve. I'm fine. " Monalisa looked at Steve. And she also wondered if it wouldn't make him suspect that he might have a long hand. They didn't know each other very well yet. And they only met a few times. But it immediately entrusts him with the house.
Steve senses what Monalisa is thinking. He smiled. He felt it was good. And there's a fear of God doing bad things. "I'm leaving." You can rest first, then watch or read books, Monalisa. So you don't get bored here. "
Monalisa nodded to Steve.
Steve was already out of his house, but when he came back he took his calling card and gave it to Monalisa. "If anyone comes here, don't be afraid; just give me a call; I'll be right back."
"Someone is coming here?" Monalisa wonders. Maybe his girlfriend, since he's a widower.
"My mother only comes once, Monalisa," he says firs,” And no other woman come to my house already.”
Monalisa shouldn't feel happy because of what Steve stated. However, she is pleased with what she has heard from him.
She wandered across the living room after Steve left. Monalisa is perplexed as to why his late wife has no photograph. She simply shrugged. Perhaps he didn't want to view the remembrance of his wife. She selected an English love novel. The Wife of Time Travelers There's no other option. Her nose is bleeding profusely. He gently closed her eyes as she began to read it. Her body sagged on the couch and she was asleep within seconds.
ARCHIE headed to Monalisa's workplace, a restaurant. He knew it was bad for her to talk because of what he had done. When Roy informed him he had seen her with another man, he was so jealous that it broke his heart. He had to make amends with Monalisa. He entered quickly. He also searched for Monalisa. When he couldn't find her, he headed straight to his friend's office. He instantly asked him."Roy, where is Monalisa?"
Monalisa hadn't shown up for work, so Roy frowned. "She didn't show up; I assumed she wouldn't because she didn't say anything."
"What? She left early this morning."
"Did she tell you she was going to work?"
"Yes, but..." Archie looked at Roy. He also looked at him, waiting for the sequel to say."We had a fight."
"You've rekindled your jealousy, Archie. I just said she had someone with her. Did you hurt her?"
Archie shrugged. "Yes," he confirmed.
"What? You're foolish, Archie. Monalisa is only the lady that stays with you that long. Yes, I admit I don't want her for you, and I'm envious of her, but hurting her isn't right. So, where is she now?"
"I'm not sure. This is the only place I know she's going," he said, thinking of the man with Monalisa. "Perhaps she's with..."
"Hep, Archie, don't think that," Roy said. "I don't believe so; perhaps she's at the mall to relieve her displeasure."
"Hopefully, Roy. That's all! "
"I wish that too, Archie."
"All right, I'll go home. I'll just wait for her at home.
"If you know Monalisa's friend, why don't you go and see if she's there?"
Archie nodded. He knew Monalisa did not have any close friends here. When he met her, she was alone here in Manila. Maybe her friends are all the workers here in the restaurant.
"Couldn't she go home to her parents, Archie?"
"I don't think so, because she says they're not close to her parents and siblings."
"What else can you do than wait for her, Archie?"
Archie nodded and left.
Steve arrived at his place about three o'clock. He noticed her asleep, leaning on the couch. He organized Monalisa to lie down and cover her a blanket. He fixed his gaze on her."You have a similar appearance to Lisa, but you are not the same person. But isn't that impossible?" He tore a few strands off her face and glanced at Monalisa's lips. Damnit, he really wanted to kiss her! Dictated by his heart and mind, he gently bowed down his head. But the woman abruptly, and he stood up quickly. What are you doing, Steve? Damn me!" he exclaimed to himself. He was about to exploit the sleeping woman.
Steve sighed deeply as he left the woman. He almost did something wrong with her. He entered his room to take a shower. Later, when Monalisa wakes up, they go to the grocery store to buy something to eat.
Monalisa was suddenly taken aback. She felt that someone was beside her. But when she opened her eyes, there was nothing. She looked at the thin cloth that covered her. And why is she already lying down? She remembers she was just leaning on the couch when she realized maybe Steve was at home already. She looked at the time on his watch. It's afternoon."What time will Steve go home?" She had just said the man's name, opened the door of his room, and spat it out.
Smiling, Steve approached the newly awakened Monalisa. "You have a nice sleep; this is good," he said.
Monalisa couldn't help but stare at Steve. Her mind tells her that it's pleasant to embrace him because he looks so clean after bathing in warm water. And she can't deny he's incredibly attractive. especially while wearing a white t-shirt and white khaki pants.
Steve knew Monalisa's eyes were focused on him. Well, he admitted that he could be ranked among the artists in the country. "Are you okay, Monalisa?" he asked so they could talk.
Monalisa smiled. and nodded.
"In that case, do you want to go home; I'll drive you?" he said But just wished he didn't want to go home yet.
If Monalisa follows herself, She didn't want to leave at all. She is at ease in Steve's home. "Maybe tonight."
Steve's smile was wide. His wish is granted. Okay then, let's go buy something we can eat. I know you're hungry. "
Monalisa stood up in agreement with what Steve had said.
