"W-what's wrong, Love?" Monalisa asked Archie tearfully. She didn't do anything wrong. Why did he slap her?
"Is this a sensible woman coming home? What time is it now? Aren't you out at seven? It's eleven o'clock already. Where did you go? Did you date someone, huh?!" his voice was angry.
Monalisa was nervous because Archie was drunk. It's different when he's drunk. She can't say yes, I've dated someone. "No, I thought you weren't coming home right away, so I went for a walk in the mall first." she explained.
"'I'm not going home? How come this is my house?"
"Love, let's rest." Monalisa said softly, then touched his arm to calm his feelings of anger.
Archie shook Monalisa's hand. "Sleep? I'm hungry. I want to eat. "
"Love, when you call me, then you tell me that you are going home to eat so I can get the food ready for you." Monalisa said.
"Damnit!" he shouted.
"Love, calm down. Please don't shout. It's embarrassing for our neighbors; it's late at night already," Monalisa begged Archie.
"I don't care about them. What would you not make for me? "
Monalisa realized there was no way they could cook because they only cooked on occasion. And if they cook, they will first go out and buy what they want to cook. Monalisa hurried to the kitchen to see whether any canned items or noodles had been hidden. She unlocked the cabinets and she only found a sauce on the shelf. She returned to the living room, where Archie was seated on the couch, his eyes was closed. "I'll just buy it outside," she remarked, "there's nothing to cook."
He blinked open his eyes and gave Monalisa a stern look. "What kind of wife are you, if you can't feed me?"
She needs to hold back her irritation and say, "I'll buy it, Love."
"Will you come out?" For what, to meet your man? " His voice is tinged with jealously.
"What?" She's fine just now, but she's irritated suddenly. You don't want me to buy it? Then go to sleep!" She stood up and left, going straight to their room. She and Archie don't fight for long. It's only now that he's drunk again.
"Hey, Monalisa. Come back here!" Archie shouted.
Monalisa didn't listen to it anymore. "You take care of yourself, if you're hungry find something to eat," she somehow felt guilty because she ate with someone earlier and they ate deliciously.
There was still a smile on his face when Steve went home because he was with Monalisa. Despite the fact that she stated that they would not meet again, this is the last time they will be strangers to each other. Will he be able to achieve his goals if both his heart and mind are set on seeing the woman? He took a shower straight away, after which he went to the wine chiller to get some red wine and a wine glass and brought them to the living room. He's happy with what happened today. Even though nothing clearly happened, he thinks Monalisa is a bit carried away by him. "Steve, what are you going to do next?" He said to himself. He knew that Monalisa was about to give up. And he also knew that she would control her feeling because she was married. So she said earlier that they would never meet again. She sighed. "Ahhh!" he growled as he swallowed the contents of the goblet. He was a huge temptation for the woman. But he will not give up. He will try to get her even if he or they still sin. Will he really be able to ruin her family? Shaking and nodding, Steve, doing.
The next day, Monalisa woke up early. He was surprised because Archie was no longer around. He has taken a bath because he is about to go to work. When he came down, Archie fell asleep on the couch and woke him up. "Love, aren't you coming to your work?" Monalisa asked the man softly.
"Hmmm, heck!" Archie replied with a growl.
"Are you going to work, Love?" she asked again.
"Not because I have a headache. What did you cook for breakfast?"
Love, I'll just make you a coffee for your hangover. I'll be late. "
Archie stood up, holding his head. Of course, if you've been drinking, your head will hurt."Just coffee, Monalisa?
"This is all we have, love."
Archie stepped up and bowed. He was pushing Monalisa. Monalisa would tumble to the floor if she couldn't keep her body balanced."Damnit!" he said then he walked up to their room.
Monalisa's body shook with rage. She's perplexed as to why he's so irrational. They were fighting, but the next day he was calmed by the fact that he was apologizing, and he became quite kind. She went to the kitchen and loaded the rice cooker with rice. She went out to get some corn meat and eggs. She then cooked more quickly. She checked her watch for the time; it was very late, and she was certain. When she arrived at work, her employer would reprimand her. She went upstairs to inform him that she had prepared breakfast. She went into their room. She entered their bedroom. Archie was lying down when she approached him. "Love, I've already prepared breakfast and am leaving right now."
Archie yanked her tightly. She screamed, "Ahhh!" as she collapsed on the bed. Archie stepped on Monalisa swiftly. She expected it to soften her, but Archie pressed his hand against her jaw. "Love, I'm in pain!" she cried out.
Archie increased the amount of pressure on Monalisa. "You're unique; I simply left for a second, and you've already brought someone else with you."
Monalisa's manager called him yesterday night to say he saw Monalisa with someone inside the restaurant and that he had to leave early.
"How come you're talking about that?"
"Jack, saw you with your man, and you're still lying."
He's not my man!" Monalisa pushed Archie hard, and when he let go, he trod on her again.
"You confessed!" Archie tightened his grip around Monalisa's neck." "You're flirting with other people already!" You don't like me any longer?" He squeezed Monalisa's neck tightly.
Monalisa yanks Archie's hand away with force. She was out of air. She pushed him as hard as she could. She screamed, "Ahhh!" when she get away from him. Monalisa starts crying and asks."You killing me?"
Archie awoke quickly, as if he had been poured with cold water. He groaned as he said, "Lo... love, I'm sorry I didn't mean to!"
Monalisa jumped to her feet and bolted out the door. Archie yelled."Love, hold on!" And he chased her.
Monalisa had already left the house. She was terrified of Archie. If she does not flee from him, he may kill her. They were noticed by her boss. Steve and she, on the other hand, did nothing wrong; they simply ate. Why did she accept his offer?
Archie couldn't even reach Monalisa outside their house. "Ahhh!" he shouted and went back inside. He knew where it would go in her job.
Before Steve goes to his office, he first goes to the restaurant where Monalisa works. He will eat breakfast there first and also see the woman.
Just like when he first had breakfast here. So, Steve’s order of eggs Benedict. While waiting for the order, he looks around. But he can't see her. "Didn't she come to work?" he asked himself.
When his order arrived, Steve asked the waitress if it wasn't bad to ask. "Miss, Monalisa. Did she come to work?"
"Do you know him, Sir?" the woman asked in astonishment.
"Yes, she's here."
"She's not here yet, Sir. She didn't tell me if she was coming in or not."
"Okay, thank you!" The woman nodded and left.
"What did that man say to you?" The manager asked the woman Steve spoke to.
"Sir, he asked Monalisa if she's here yet."
"How did you respond to him?"
"She hasn't arrived yet. Sir, do you know who that man is?"
He just stared at the woman and waved his hand for her to do the work. "Last night they were just together, and now he's looking for Monalisa. I think they have something," he said. He took his phone and typed it.
Steve left the restaurant without seeing Monalisa. As he was on the road on his way to his office, it was quite crowded at that moment. Fortunately, he didn't have a meeting, so it was okay with him even if the traffic was slow. He looked around and frowned because it looked like Monalisa was walking down the road as if she was out of her mind and she was only wearing slippers. "Is that, Monalisa?" He has already passed it. He looked at the side mirror. The woman had stopped walking and seemed to be wiping away her tears. He pulled the car over quickly, his heart telling him that it was Monalisa.
Steve runs to the woman. "Monalisa?" he calls her name. The woman immediately turned to him.
When Monalisa saw Steve, she couldn't help but cry. He thinks he saw an ally.
Steve approached the woman. Without saying a word, he hugged her.
