IT WAS Steve and Lisa’s first wedding anniversary. Before going to work, Steve informed his wife, “Honey, let’s have dinner outside tonight. Be ready before seven, okay?”
“Okay, honey. I’ll make myself beautiful later, just for you. “
Steve gave his wife a back embrace when he approached her. “Hmmm, no need, Honey; you’ll look better if you keep it simple. There’s no need to appear stunning; I already know that.”
Lisa turned and looked at her husband with a smile on her face. She touched his cheek and said.”Don’t you want me to seem attractive in the eyes of others, honey?”
“Hmmm, yes, your dazzling look, honey, it’s just for me,” he remarked as he kissed his wife on the lips.
Lisa kissed him back, making them want it even more.
Steve would like to take his wife to their bed, but he has a meeting today. They kissed so passionately that you’ll be whisked away to a place only they know about.
Her blood was boiling and running all over her body since she was so desperate for her husband at the time. But then Steve abruptly cut off their steamy kiss. “I’m sorry, honey, but I have to leave right now; I’m running late for my appointment.”
Lisa wanted to object to her husband leaving, to continue what they started. And made it all the way. Her husband is fantastic in bed. He makes her crazy when they make love, so he loves it very much. She became glum all of a sudden.
Steve noticed that his wife would be upset with him. He hugged her again.”Promise tonight, I will give you what you want, honey.” He kissed her head. He loved his wife so much.
Lisa’s sulk disappeared immediately after what her husband did.”Okay, I’ll wait for you. Don’t be late.”
“Of course, It’s our anniversary. I won’t be late. I don’t want my wife to be angry with me. It’s hard to be outside without a mosquito net tonight.”
Lisa was amused by her husband’s remark.
“All right, you said you’d be late, so go now.”
“All right, I’m leaving now!” Steve exclaimed as he kissed his wife on the cheek before leaving from their home.
“Bye!”
Lisa gave her husband a warm grin. She would not have permitted her husband and her to marry if she did not love him. She met Steve when she was at the pinnacle of her modeling career.
Lisa is a professional model, not only here in the Philippines but also overseas. That night, she fell in love with Steve at a big event for famous jewelry. That night, she fell in love with him, despite the fact that he was the handsome and wealthy man she had fallen in love with. Steve Velarde was shining that night, dominating its handsome. He was wearing simple clothes that night, but they were dazzling: a blue long sleeve that was folded up to his elbows, with two open buttonsits in the front and tucked the other into his jeans. That night, she smiled all the time in order for her to notice him. She did not fail when Steve approached her. That night, their love began.
Lisa also walked out after her husband had left; she was going to the shop to get her groceries in order to surprise her husband, as she had assumed they would spend their first anniversary at home. And she’ll pave it by attempting to cook. He’ll merely watch the recipes he wants to cook on You Tube.
Steve couldn’t be concerned with his wife’s thoughts while in his meeting. He was aware that he was in a gloomy mood. When they are in a situation like this, he recognizes his wife. She does not want to be disconnected. Even if she stated it was fine earlier, she will be furious with him. To tame her, it will take a long time. She still has to be compassionate enough to forgive him.
“Steve, what do you think about this project?” he asked his meeting mates.
Steve didn’t seem to hear his mind running to his wife.
“Steve, are you listening?” He lightly tapped the table for the other person to notice. Steve looked at it. “Your mind is flying away. Where did it land?” the speaker asked again.
He suddenly realized. “Oh, sorry! I was just thinking, where are we?”
He smiled and shook his head. “Are you thinking of your wife, Steve?” Well, he can’t blame him; his wife is stunning and seductive. And a supermodel. In his mind he would have been the first to see Liza. Yeah he had a crush on her.
Steve smiled in agreement with what was said before. “Tell me again, what is your suggestion, Larry?”
“Okay , listen carefully. Please don’t think of her now. Maybe later, when we’re done here, Steve.”
Steve and Larry are friends. They own a realtor company. Their businesses do not compete, but they help each other like today. Larry has a million projects to share with Steve.
“Okay, I’m listening now.”
Larry took a step forward to demonstrate his construction concept.”Take a look at this. What do you have to say about it? Also, any suggestions?”
“Hmmm, not bad, Larry,” said Steve, who is also an architect. All of his projects are really good, so his name is rising in real estate.”I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. These are merely my recommendations. Place a garden and a swimming pool there,” he said, pointing upstairs.
“Hmmm, you mean like in the Marina Bay rooftop garden and swimming pool in Singapore?”
“It’s just as magnificent as the view at night in that region where you can see Manila Bay!”
“Thank you, Steve; I’ve altered it for that portion. Are you in for this project?”
“Of course you designed it; I have faith in you, Larry; just tell me when you started that project.”
“I’ll call you Steve. Okay, am I leaving now. I have another appointment. “ He stepped out, but he stopped at the door. Oh, I remember today is your wedding anniversary, right? Any plans for tonight? “
“Larry, you also know how to gossip as well.”
“Steve, hurry up do it quickly.”
Larry’s statements caused Steve to frown. “Do it quickly for what?”
“A, baby?”
Yes, Steve smiled, he was desperate to have a child. “I’m on my way, Larry,” he said.
“Good to hear that, bye.” He’s gone quickly.
Steve went back to his office once they had finished talking. He sat down and immediately dialed his wife’s number on his cell phone.
Lisa are already working on the dinner recipe for tonight anniversary. When her cellphone rang, she smiled automatically because her husband is the caller’s she answered it right away. “Yes, honey.”
“Honey, what are you up to?”
Lisa examined the table’s ingredients. She lied and said.”Nothing, honey, I am waiting for you tonight.”
“Okay, I’ll be home at six to pick you up, honey. Be ready, okay.”
“Okay , honey. I love you!”
“I love you too, honey. Bye, see you later! “ Steve breathed a sigh of relief as the wife he spoke to was tender.
While Lisa was cooking beef stew, her cell phone rang again. This time it was her mother. “Yes, mom?”
“Lisa, I have a favor to ask you.”
“What is this, Mommy? Tell me?”
“Don’t you know about my illness? And I agree with the doctor’s suggestion that I have surgery in America.
“Hmmm, I’m happy that you already agree for that, Mom.”
"So, I want you to join me there, Lisa. Is this okay with you?"
“Mommy, of course I will accompany you.”
So, I want you to join me there, Lisa. Is this okay with you?”
“Mommy, of course I will accompany you.”
“Will your husband agree, Lisa?”
“For your sake, don’t worry, mommy; he’ll agree. And I will talk to him later.”
“Okay, Lisa. I’ll wait for your answer tomorrow.”
“Yes, mommy, bye.”
“Bye, and happy anniversary to you and Steve.”
“Thank you, mommy!”
After finished cooking Lisa set the dining table with scented candles of vanilla and lavender. Her husband liked that smell. When she’s done, she took a bath. The bathtub was fitted with vanilla scents. She needs to be stunning tonight for their first anniversary as a couple.
Before six o’clock, Steve called his wife to say he was on the way home. His office is close to their condo unit in The Pearl Place condominium in Pasig.
Lisa quickly answered her husband’s call. “Honey, where are you now?”
“Honey, I’m just five minutes in front of the condo. You can come down now.”
Lisa had to think of a reason for her husband to go up to their condo. “Ouch!” she shouted.
Steve was suddenly worried about his wife because he heard that she was like hurt. “Honey, are you okay?”
Honey, I’m okay. But… “ She cut off what she was going to say to make her husband worry. “Ouch!” She said it again.
“Honey, what’s wrong?” Steve quickly parked in front of the condo in his car, and quickly got out.
Honey, my feet hurt. “Ouch!” she exclaimed, pretending to be in a lot of pain this time.
“Okay, so okay, I’m on my way up, honey. Wait for me. “Steve hurried to the elevator. He was really worried about his wife
Lisa knew her husband was worried. She quickly looked at herself in the mirror to see if she looked okay. She was wearing a black silk dress whose straps glowed like gold. “Hmmm, perfect!” She’s running to the door to greet her husband.
When Steve opened the door, “… Li…” He stopped half way to call his wife’s name.
“Surprise!” She made a muttered remark and hugged her husband.
Steve smiled. You pranked me, Honey!”
“’I’m sorry about that, Honey. Come see my surprise!” Lisa guided her husband to the dining table, “Look, honey. I made it!” she said about her dishes.
Actually, her wife never cooks; they order their food. If he is not busy, he cooks sometimes. But when the cleaner comes to their house, she cooks for them and then leaves. “Are you sure, honey?” he asked.
Lisa frowned. Honestly, he doesn’t know how to cook, but with the help of social media, the dishes she cooked were done step-by-step to perfect the taste. “Of course, look, I’m even burnt.” Lisa even showed the hand that had been soaked in oil as she had been frying earlier.
Steve takes her wife’s hand. “Oh, does it hurt?” Lisa nodded. “I’ll put some medicine on.” Steve kissed his wife’s hand where the oil was smeared.
Lisa smiled. “Are you hungry now, honey?” she asked.
Steve looked at his wife from head to toe. He smiled at his wife with a naughty look. “Hmmm, I think I am hungry right now!” He pressed his wife against his waist. “Hmmm, you are the one that I want to eat first, honey!” He would have kissed his wife on the lips, but Lisa put her finger on her husband’s lips to stop him for kissing her.
“Hmmm, let’s eat first, honey. I’ve worked so hard to cook it. Please taste it. I put a lot of effort into those dishes.”
Steve nodded. Okay, let’s eat honey. I’m suddenly hungry, eh.” Yes, his wife is putting in a lot of effort tonight with her dishes.
Steve took the red wine, opened it, and put it in their wine glasses. Best wishes! Happy anniversary, honey! “he was so happy.
“Happy anniversary too, honey!” Lisa said too.
They both had a smile on their faces while eating. Did you like the taste, honey? Lisa asked her husband.
For Steve, it’s okay; it’s not just delicious. “Perfect, honey!” For him, it is a white lie, he said
Lisa stepped up and approached her husband after they finished eating. And took a seat in front of it I love you, sweetheart! “ And kiss him on the lips three times.
“You know, honey, I love you so much!” Steve said with a big smile.
In exchange for what his wife done, he offered her a deep kiss.
Lisa kissed her husband back, sending them into a frenzy for the rest of the evening.
