"Why the hell did he hit you for that cruel alpha? Let's go and give him a piece of our mind." Ivy said, pushing her forward.

"I am hurt and speechless. I never imagined this day would come. I just wanted to save my friend. I didn't mean for the alpha to get hurt. I think those people just wanted to kill him. I'm hurt." Ava said, closing her face with her hand so as not to cry. Though the slap was still hurting. She started walking behind the other warriors into the castle, and they pushed her out by the shoulder immediately. She caught up with them.

"You are not allowed in this castle until you bring back the girl." One of them said, and they all stood glaring at her.

"I had nothing to do with Belle's escape; I admit I wanted her to be free, but..." Ava paused as she saw that they had already walked away, ignoring her. She stepped one foot into the castle, and the door slammed in her face, almost breaking her nose. Her nose started bleeding. She touched her nose and stepped back.

"Let's go and see how Belle is doing. I am just so mad at Jackson, I want to punch him." Ivy said.

"We are not going to punch anyone," Ava said and gnashed her teeth while walking away from the castle.

The pack doctor came to check up on Carlos, who was lying unconscious in the bed. Andrew turned to Jackson, who was also standing in the room with Anthony.

"Why the hell did you hit Ava?" he inquired.

"She caused this mess. She is the reason your dad is fighting for his life. I wanted her to feel sorry and think of a way to rectify her mistake." Jackson said.

"I didn't like the way you hit her," Andrew said, clenching his fist.

"Me neither." Anthony said, gnashing his teeth. Jackson took a step back, looking at the two of them with a confused expression.

"What is wrong with the two of you?" Jackson inquired.

"Nothing is wrong with us, we are just fighting for our mate, man," Andrew snarled, poking him on the chest. Jackson opened his eyes wide in surprise.

"She is your mate?" Jackson asked.

"Yes, and it's nothing new. I don't want you to raise your hand on her again." Andrew said with his gaze fixed on him.

"Okay." Jackson half shrugged. It turned out he didn't know a lot about Ava, and it hurt his ego. He just needed to set things right and make sure Belle got killed for her safety.

Carlos sat up on the bed shirtless, with his body bandaged from the back to his stomach. Andrew walked over to him and sat next to him on the bed, dismissing the pack doctor who went to talk to Jackson.

"He needs to be given this pain killer twice a day," the pack doctor said, handing Jackson the medicine.

"Don't worry, I will give it to him." Jackson assured and took it from his staring at the twins that were hovering around their father.

Jackson was about to walk out of the room when Carlos called out to him.

"Did you manage to kill the girl?" Carlos inquired with a poker face.

"We couldn't let the smoke distract us. All we wanted to do was protect you since you weren't holding any sword." Jackson said.

"I didn't get cut with a sword, it was something else, like a broken bottle." Carlos said.

"I couldn't capture the faces of the people, but we managed to catch a few of them." Jackson said.

"I want you to go out there with the warriors and capture the girls. Be quick before they escape." Carlos declared.

"Yes, your highness." Jackson said and ran out of the room.

"Come on dad, stop thinking about that girl. You need to rest," Andrew said, trying to get him to lie back on the bed.

"It was the thing that got you in this mess in the fight place. We are here. We will protect you from any girl." Andrew assured.

"You don't understand, a prophecy always comes true, which means it's bound to happen, so the only option is to kill the person. I want her heart in my room." Carlos said with a frown.

Andrew grasped his hand, "Don't worry, dad, I will get her and bring her heart to you." Andrew assured with a smile.

"I also want to see her corpse and bury it in this castle." Carlos said.

"If you do that, you are giving her a lot of privilege, but I don't mind." Andrew shrugged.

"When I saw you laying on the floor, I was hurt. I wanted to kill all those people." Anthony said through clenched teeth. Carlos put his hand on his shoulder.

"You don't need to do anything, son," Carlos assured with a smile. Andrew got up from the bed and walked toward the door. He made sure they weren't looking at him before he disappeared.

Ava was in Belle's house, drinking tea with her parents, Belle walked out of her room wearing a new set of clothes.

"If it wasn't for you, my daughter would have been dead by now." Belle's mother said.

"I would have tried my best to help her." Ava said with a smile.

"It would have also led to your death. I am glad the other pack members decided to help us, although some of them are now captives in the castle." Belle's father said, looking down.

Belle handed the first kit to her mom and squatted in front of her as she started rubbing ointment on the wound at the back of her neck.

Ava's hand started shaking as she grabbed the coffee mug. She was feeling uneasy that something bad might happen.

"What's wrong, darling?" Belle's father asked as he noticed her shaking hand.

"I don't think it's safe for her to be here. The alpha will still come after her. She should escape from here." Ava said in a shaky voice.

"You are right, that completely skipped my mind, Belle. You need to go away from this house for now." Belle's father said.
