The Kids Kidnapping 2 (Bonus Chapter)

Such a nice atmosphere. Tinsley thought to her once again. She had chosen this space to write and get new ideas. She was in the garden, working on her new project 'Please Love Me.' enjoying the cool breeze that was blowing.

After typing for a while, she picked up her phone to check the time and it was already 3:30pm and the driver was yet to bring the kids back from school.

The driver left as early as possible so once the kids close from school, they won't have to wait for him. So she wondered what was taking them so long that they hadn't returned by this time?

Tinsley wanted to place a call to the driver, when his call came in almost immediately.

"He. llo m. a." the shaking tone from the driver told her that all is not well. She became scared but didn't want to conclude.

"Have you gotten to the kid's school already?" She asked, waiting for a positive reply.

"Yes ma," he answered, which made Tinsley breathe out in huge relief.

"B-ut." he continued.

As she heard the word 'BUT' she couldn't help but become scared once again, "But what!?" She yelled out.

"Ma, the kids left the school already." he uttered with lots of fear.

"What! You must be joking." Tinsley exclaimed. "Why would you tell me my kids are no longer in school when you and those guards are the only ones that go to pick them up?" She asked angrily.

"Ma when we got to the school we didn't see them at the place where we thought they would be waiting for us to come pick them up." He answered in a shaking voice.

Tinsley could feel the tears falling from her eyes already. Then he continued.

"Then I went to ask their security and he told me that someone came to pick them up already and he thought they were us."

"What! Who? When and where? How could they allow anybody to come pick up the kids like that?" She barked. And Jarek has a meeting so I am sure he's not the one that went to pick up the kids, so who? She thought to herself as her mind was raising every corner at once.

"Ma, the security men said the kids were the ones that went to meet the limo driver when he arrived and entered the car."

"OMG, who could they possibly be?" She asked out of frustration.

"He also said that the driver was wearing the exact uniform as mine and he was looking just like me, even the guards were like the ones with me."

"Ahhh, what am I going to do now?" She cried out as she stood up from her seat.

"Ma, we are going to start looking for them immediately. They shouldn't have gotten far from the school." The driver said to her before he cut the call.

"Should I call the police?" Tinsley asked herself. But it is less than 24 hours so she can't report them missing,... omg, what is she going to do now?

"Should I call Jarek? No, he might still be in his meeting." She uttered to herself.

Hmmm, she couldn't breathe properly as she began to panic.

What would have happened to my kids? Who would they have possibly followed? Because according to what the security guy told her driver, someone came to pick them up with the exact limo we have. But who? What does this person want from us?

She kept asking so many questions that were left unanswered.

"I don't have any rival's, nor anyone that I have offended, neither does Jarek, so…" she left the words hanging. "The universe should help me." She cried out. Her Parents can't even do these things because they are in prison.

She called the kids driver back to see if he had seen them but he gave her the same answer 'No ma.'

"What should I do next? Should I just go straight to Jarek's office and let him know what's going on?"

She thought as she became more confused and scared.

After so much thought on what to do she finally decided to go to the police station and report a kidnapping case and tell Jarek. With him talking to the cops will make them begin their search.

She covered her laptop and quickly went to pick up her bag so that she could go to the police station immediately.

As she walked down stairs and out of the front door, she was about to enter her car and drive off when Jarek drove in at that moment making her wait for him to get down from his car.

She wasn't expecting him to be back from work this early.

He came down from his car as she walked up to him, with tears in her eyes, "Jarek our kids," was all Tinsley could say before he came closer to her and gave her a warm hug.

"The kids driver already called me." he informed her. "You don't have to cry my love, we will bring them back, Okay?"

Tinsley felt so relieved for a moment, "But what have I done to deserve these?" She asked as she held on to him tightly like he was also going to go missing if she didn't.

"Nothing dear, nothing, you did nothing darling, and we are going to find the kids ok. Don't worry, I spoke to some private investigators immediately the driver called, and they are already working on it, alright?"

Tinsley nodded.

"But I thought you were having an important meeting?" She reminds him.

"No meeting is as important as you and my kids," he replied.

Tinsley felt a warmth in her heart as she heard his response, which gave her some hope. They are going to find their kids.

As she opened her mouth and was about to speak again her phone vibrated and started ringing out.

As she checked who was calling, she saw it was an unknown caller. At first she didn't want to pick up because she was scared to hear any bad news but Jarek said she should when she showed him the caller ID, so she did, putting it on loudspeaker.

"Am I speaking to Tinsley Williams?" An unfamiliar voice which belongs to a lady from the other end of the phone asked.

"Yes, you are speaking to Tinsley Williams, please who is this?" She asked.

"You don't have to know who I am right now," the voice continued. "All you need to know is that your kids are presently in my custody and the reason they are here is because of your father-in-law."

"My father-in-law, but he is dead, in fact he died some years ago."

The woman didn't allow Tinsley to finish her words when she interrupted her.

"You think I don't know that, huh? He is not here so you and everything that comes from him will suffer the consequences."

"Please don't hurt my kids." Tinsley pleaded. "I will do anything you want just please let my kids go. They haven't done anything to hurt you." She added.

"Just shut the fuck up! As far as they have his blood, yeah they have hurt me!" She yelled. "Listen and listen carefully, I am going to call you later at night after sending you a video of your kids so you can confirm that they are with me and I am not lying, with that I am going to tell you exactly what I want. But before that make sure you don't involve the cops unless you want your kids dead." she added in a very hard tune.

"Please don't, please don't kill my kids. I promise I won't involve the police." Tinsley promised before the unknown caller ended the call.

"My love, look at me and breathe, we won't involve the cops, we will do as she says so that we will know what she wants from us. But I am promising you that we will get our kids back." Jarek assured her.

"You heard her when she said it was because of your father, what did he do?"

"The dead cannot talk." Jarek answered and then remembered the last conversation he had with his father who told him not to investigate who had caused the accident that killed Mr Hart. But he didn't tell Tinsley. "Let's wait inside for her call. If she calls back I will be ready for her." He added texting someone with his phone.
