Morrisa's Freedom (Bonus Chapter)

Morrisa's Freedom

Morrisa listened as Lillee told her about her younger brother's family. Even though Richard had told her about (Mr Hart) death and a bit about his family, he didn't elaborate further like the way this girl before her is doing. She was excited to gather more useful information because she knew it was going to help in her revenge plan.

"Wow." Morrisa said as Lillee finished telling her everything. "But why are you telling me all these?"

"We are going to help each other and the second one, we both want revenge on the one who brought us here." Lillee answered.

"You know I badly want my revenge but it's sad that the one I want to hurt the most is dead and he left his children, well that his death didn't change anything." Morrisa said.

"See," Lillee began softly. "If you are going to hurt them, please hurt them as you please but do not touch my sister, Jarek's wife. She is mine to torture and kill." She told her.

"I will try to keep that in mind when I am out of here." Morrisa didn't promise.

"If you can also get me out of here, I will be a very great help to you."

"I will think about it." With that been said, she sent a brief smile at Lillee's direction and left for her cell.

Back in her cell Morrisa was grinning at nothing. She just has one day to leave this hell called prison, just only today and tomorrow she will be free as a bird. If she hadn't taken the blame for her brother she could have also had grandkids by now but life happens with its own consequences and she is the karma from her brother's past. She has wasted 20 years of her life because she was trying to save her brother, someone who had forgotten her after he court sentence, someone who hasn't come to see her once in prison. Even in death, her hatred for her brother grew.

"Once I get out tomorrow I will make some investigation concerning what Lillee had to tell me." She said to herself quietly.

As she laid down on the bed in her cell wishing for the day to end quickly. She was so excited and at the same time anxious to start her revenge.

Morrisa hopes Richard and Eric don't forget to come pick her up tomorrow. She slept off with the thoughts of leaving this place after so many years.

___

Early the next morning, Morrisa was among the first people to have her bath and she went back to her cell to wait patiently for her name to be called. She wasn't even feeling hungry. Will she miss this place? Hell no. Not even a chance.

Her brother's family are surely gonna feel her presence once she is finally out.

Soon a policeman came to get her and she signed all the necessary papers given to her.

As Morrisa got to the gate to leave the jail finally, she handed over the letter to the police officer at the gate who glanced at it and opened it.

As she stepped out, seeing the sun rays on her face was like seeing the sky for the first time and it made her close her eyes. The smell of freedom filled the air around her and she inhaled deeply.

Opening her eyes, she could see Richard and Eric already waiting for her at the other side of the road.

The excitement of seeing her was writing all over their faces.

She walked over to go meet them and nodded at them, as she entered the seat at the back, they drove off immediately, leaving the premises.

"We weren't able to get the apartment close to the house you want but we got a house not too far from them." Richard said, breaking the silence that had engulfed them.

Morrisa nodded her head, she remembered she had told them to look for an apartment or house closer to the Hart's family house but since he said they didn't see one closer but just a few blocks away, she knew it would be hard to keep an eye on them.

"Okay." She said, "I hope everything I need is in that house?"

''Yes," Richard replied.

"And how's the business going?" She asked.

"It's going well." Eric answered. "Your brilliant plan to start a business without the knowledge of your brother actually pays off. If not you will have nothing to fall back on. We managed to stay out of the spotlight since."

"I should be thanking you for taking care of it and not betraying me when everyone did."

"You saved us, remember? Just one act of kindness from you made the thought of leaving you at your lowest far from us." Eric said with a grin on his face.

"We are going to be introducing you to all our new business partners next week." Richard chips in as he kept on driving.

"Okay." Morrisa said and then remembered what Lillee had told her. "Why didn't you guys tell me about Jarek and his new family?" She asked.

Morrisa could see they were surprised to know that she knew about Jarek and his family.

The men both looked at each other before Eric spoke.

"We wanted you to come out of jail first before we let you know about that," he said.

"And how did you find out about them?"  Richard asked.

"Someone named Lillee, who is in the same prison as mine, told me." Morrisa answered.

Sje could see the confusion in their faces, so she explained better to them.

"Her younger sister's name is Tinsley who is married to my brother's son. They have Triplets and said they are he reason she ended up in jail." Morrisa told them and then chuckled. "Looks like I'm not the only one trying to kill your family brother." She added.

"They have two more children, twins."

"Oh, the more they are the more tears will flow."

"Jarek has two other siblings, half-siblings, the weren't close before until the death of their father. Now, Jarek's mother and the other siblings' mother are friends. We could start with them first."

"No, I'm starting with Jarek."

They continued the ride in silence until they got to the apartment Richard had gotten for Morrisa.

On their way she couldn't help but admire all the beautiful things she was seeing as they were passing by, everything looked new.

Richard led the way as they came down from the car after packing it and headed inside the apartment.

"It's a nice place." Morrisa said after a while. The house was nice and since it's some blocks away from her target, it was perfect.

"Thank you." Richard and Eric both said in unison.

Morrisa was shown her room and once she was alone she went to her bed and lay on it with a sigh of contentment on her face.

Tomorrow will be a big day.
