Telling Her And A New Ally (Bonus Chapter)

Telling Her And A New Ally

Lillee woke up late in the day and none of her fellow cellmates even bothered to wake her up and now she had missed her morning breakfast and that made her groan. Back home in her comfy bed her mother or one of the maids would have woken her up for breakfast. She quickly went to the prison shared bathroom to have a quick bath. She was grateful to have seen water for her bath.

She felt her stomach fumble and ignored it since there was nothing she could do than to wait till the next meal was prepared and that is till lunch time.

Her thought wandered back to the older woman she had met once and hadn't seen again in the prison yard for some days now, it was as if the older woman was a ghost who came and implanted the name 'Hart', in her head and then disappeared.

By the time she had stared at her prison ceiling all day, ignoring the noise made from her stomach, time for lunch came and she was among the first people to stand in front of the line in the chow hall with her plate stretching out. She looked around again hoping to find the older woman, but she was no were to be seen.

After a while, she collected her own little portion of food. As she turned to find a place to sit, she sighted someone in a corner at the end of the chow hall. She was so happy to see it was her, the older woman she has been looking for.

"FINALLY!" Lillee yelled out in excitement, ignoring a few looks thrown her way. "I finally found you." She muttered as she quickly went over to the older woman table and sat down opposite her chair like she'd done before.

Lillee could see the expression on the older woman's face was not welcoming, but she didn't care cause all Lillee wanted to know was how she's related to the ''Hart's family, and why her face looked like she had seen it before.

The woman didn't even try to make any conversation with them as she was so focused on her food.

"I know this might sound a little bit crazy to you," Lillee began and smiled briefly before becoming serious. "But I know the Hart family." She said and the woman looked at her briefly before continuing to eat her food. Lillee had forgotten that she was hungry in the first place but getting the woman to talk back to her seems more important to her than satisfying her stomach. Yes, her stomach can wait.

"Can you please tell me how you are related to the Hart's family?" Lillee asked her.

Morrisa looked at her and when Lillee thought she wouldn't reply, the older woman opened her mouth and began her story.

At the mention of the Hart's newest addition 'Jarek', Lillee said.

"Yeah, it is you!" Lillee could see the confusion in her eyes and then she smiled.

"Morrisa right?" Lillee said again and Morrisa gave her a questioning look which was filled with curiosity of how she knew her name.

"I saw you in a newspaper at Conrad's parents home one certain time, an old newspaper, you were accused of murder, right?" Lillee uttered in a questionable way.

Lillee could see Morrisa nod and that means she was right when she said Morrisa had looked familiar to her.

"Well I don't know how these would be of help but I know Jarek, a little bit personally." Lillee said, hoping the woman took the bait.

"You know him? How well do you know Jarek Hart? He was little when I went to prison and won't even recognize me."

"Oh, I know him very well, he is married to my younger sister."

Lillee could see Morrisa's attention was on her. "Him and my sister are the reason I ended up in jail," she said with lots of hate in her voice. "I hate them so much," she added. "And I will make them pay for it at all costs."

"Can you tell me what you know about Jarek?" Morrisa asked, making Lillee smile. She has grabbed the bait. "Like I said before, he was very young when I went to prison and I will soon be leaving this godforsaken shit hole, so please tell me what I need to know." She added when she saw Lillee wasn't talking.

Lillee saw these as an opportunity to help herself, maybe if she help Morrisa, the woman might help her once she is outside the prison and with that thought in her head, she did as she asked, and told her everything there was to know about Jarek and even his family including his step-siblings and stepmother.
