Isabella woke up to feeling a soft kiss be placed on her forehead. She opened her eyes, groggily. "Wha....?" Isabella asked, slightly dazed and confused. Aaron smiled. "It's about moon high. We should get back to my house. Tomorrow we can actually gather the flowers if you would like?" He asked her. Isabella responded with glee in her soft voice. "I would love to!" She exclaimed. "Good, come on. If you want to get some sleep I suggest we leave now." He laughed. Isabella looked up at the moon and smiled. "I must have slept quite a while then. Why did you let me?" "You looked cute, and you were obviously tired. You need your rest." He truthfully spoke. Isabella frowned. "But that doesn't mean I have to bore you by making you sit here for hours!" Isabella madly spoke. "I don't mind. Plus you were mumbling in your sleep, who is Alexander?" He questioned Isabella, who was no longer dazed and confused. "Oh! He was a childhood friend, why? Jealous?" She teased. He shook his head a small bit. "Pfff! Nahhhh........ As long as he's not in the picture?" He asked hopeful. "Oh well.... let's see." She stroked her smooth chin. "The last time I saw him, was when the fire spread through my village and everyone I saw that night burned.... so I can assume he's dead now." Isabella spoke horrifically. Aaron flinched. "Sorry, did not mean to bring up such a sore topic." He apologetically spoke. Isabella nodded. "That's alright!" She smiled. Aaron pushed off the rock they were sitting on and extended his hand for Isabella to grab. She smiled gratefully and, putting no pressure on her injured foot, stood up. Aaron released her grip for a second to bend down and grab his own makeshift crutches for Isabella to use. She took them in her small hands. Aaron helped her adjust to them. She took her first step and laughed as she landed on her un-injured foot. "This is fun!" She exclaimed excited by the thought of her being able to walk, in a certain manner. Aaron laughed as he saw this beautiful girl walk around for the first time in a few days. "Come on, we don't want to draw un-wanted attention." He smiled. "Oh right! Let's go!" Isabella smiled, using her new walking tools, to reach FireHeart who grunted with glee as he witnessed Isabella walking. She laughed with ticklish feels as the dragon reached for the top of her shirt, his breath tickling the soft skin on her neck. Aaron smiled, and with permission from FireHeart, climbed on the dragons back. "Tonight, I'm flying." Aaron insisted. Isabella didn't resist as Aaron turned his head around, grabbed her hands in his, and wrapped her arm's tighter than he ever had, around his wait. The sudden force, made Isabella moved closer, so her chest was pushed against Aaron's back. Her faced turned a bright red as they took flight. Aaron laughed as he felt Isabella's body get warmer. "Rest your chin on my shoulder, look ahead of us." Isabella blushed even more at the thought, but did was she was told. Aaron's body tingled with a unknown feeling as he felt Isabella's touch on his broad shoulder. She looked ahead and gazed at the stars flying past them. "It's so beautiful....." Isabella spoke softly. "That it is, just like you." He smiled. Isabella blushed at the old pickup line. "Oh.... thank you..." Isabella turned her head sideways on his shoulder, and stared off into darkness of the sky's atmosphere. Her eyes closed shut as she felt wind brush past her face. Aaron's jacket was the only warmth that she encountered, other than Aaron himself. His bare back touched the whole front of her body, giving off a warm feeling. Isabella's eyes flickered close as she fell asleep to the sound of wind rushing past her ear, which sounded like waves crashing upon the shore of a deserted beach. Aaron's thoughts expanded as he felt Isabella fall into slumber behind him. I wonder what choice she may choose. The choice is her's to leave or stay. I hope she choose's the one that will make us BOTH happy.... Aaron thought as FireHeart speed forward, determined to get them to Aaron's house before 1 A.M. ~~~ Once they arrived at Aaron's house, Aaron carefully moved Isabella's chin off his shoulder and picked her up in his arms. FireHeart nodded as Aaron opened the door to his house and moved Isabella inside to the room she stayed in the night before. She smiled as he wrapped blankets over her, clothed in light fabric, body. He kissed her forehead which was warm from coming inside. With his smiling still standing on his lips, he blew out the candle by Isabella's bed and closed the door to her room careful not to make any sound. He walked back into his room where he climbed under the warm covered and drifted off into a deep, nightmare-less slumber. ~~~ Isabella opened her eyes. Her green pupils watered as smoke filled the air. She looked down and realized her body had shrunk. She was the size of a 7 year old. Her cat jumped off her bed in pure terror. Isabella followed the cat, white flowers flowed through her hair, newly picked. The cat led her downstairs where she found her parents talking to each other as if nothing was amiss. They kept talking as flamed in-caged them. "MOM! DAD! GET OUT OF THERE!" Isabella helplessly yelled. She couldn't move. Her body was glued to the spot. Her legs, frozen. Her arms, frozen. Her whole body, frozen. All she could do was terribly watch as her parent's burned in place. The fire rose, causing heat to rise on Isabella's face. Her skin burned as fire rose up to meet her arms and legs. She ignored the pain and focused only on her long lost parents. "MOM! DAD!!!! Please...." Tears forced their way out of Isabella's eyes as the house creaked under the fire rising to the top floor. She attempted to move and pain jeered up her side every time she tried. Her arms began to fade into nothing. She ignored everything around her. Her main focus was one thing. Save. Her. Parents. She tried moving as she heard their cries of help. "NO!!! MOM! DAD!!! PLEASE RUN!!!" She cried helplessly into the flame filled night. She watch in horror as the skin of her parent's melted, blood filled the room. She looked down to realize her feet were covered in red gooey liquid. Blood. She screamed as the blood level rose. Her arms and legs frozen in place. She couldn't move anything. The blood level rose up to Isabella's throat. She could not escape the acrid smell the rising blood gave off. Her mouth was suddenly frozen as the blood over it. Her breath was shallow and fast coming out of her nose. She tried raising her head, but once again her body was numb. The blood level rose even further as her nose got engulfed in red gooey liquid. She tried to scream but couldn't with the blood covering over half of her face. Her eyes tried shutting tight, but her body refused to cooperate and she was forced to have her eyes open as the blood enclosed her whole face. Her green eyes glowed horror as she was forced to experience death in her own hands. She suddenly gasped as fell into darkness, the gooey blood seeping off her easily. ~~~ Aaron woke with a start as a scream sounded the alarm in his head. He grabbed his purple blade from beside his bed and ran into Isabella's room. He slammed open the door and found her crying in bed. Isabella was drenched in sweat as tears formed on her face and formed a river down her cheeks. Aaron looked at her with pity. She was frozen in horror as Aaron approached her. "Isabella..... W-what happened?" Aaron concerning himself to the bone, asked. Her breath was swallow as she tried catching it slowly. "Isabella!" He said resting his hand on her jawline and forcing her to look him in the eyes. Her emerald eyes showed one expression. Horror. Aaron sat down by her waist and embraced her into a long, comforting hug. She cried in his arms. "Shhhhhh..... It's okay, your safe and sound." He soothingly spoke to the frozen in terror Isabella. She wrapped her hands around his right arm and he kissed her wet cheek. Minutes later, Isabella had calmed down enough to speak. "I-I'm s-sorry..... I-I had a-a d-dream..." She said wiping the tears away that were still falling out of her eyes. Aaron was filled with only two emotions: Love, and pity. She doesn't deserve this..... He thought to himself. "It's okay, your in your room safe and sound. I'm right here with you." He looked into her teary eyes. She was still trying to catch her breath. His hand still stood underneath Isabella's jawline. His black as coal eyes, stared deep into Isabella's soul. Her eyes met his and he smiled, causing her to gasp even more. A teary smile spread across her lips but quickly vanished when more tears fell out of her eyes. Several more minutes passed before fatigue finally rolled over Isabella in waves. Aaron noticed her tiredness. I can't leave her to sleep alone, she'll be Paranoid! Aaron thought to himself, suddenly an idea rolled over him. He picked Isabella up, wedding style, and carried her to his room. He set her down on his bed where she lay on her side. Tears fell out of her eyes and Aaron laid down beside her and pulled her head to the top of his chest. She gasped and stopped crying as Aaron kissed her head. She felt his chest rise and fall as her head laid weightlessly on his broad muscles. He didn't fall asleep as Isabella drifted off into darkness and let blackness enclose her.
