Isabella lay dreamless in slumber as FireHeart prodded her in the side, dawn was approaching and if they were going to stay in this strange clearing they were going to need to gather supplies, and more importantly food. Isabella groaned and rolled over. She opened her emerald eyes and smiled as her dragon did a small dance, telling Isabella that he wanted food. She rolled her eyes and sat up in her soft sleeping bag to stretch her cramped arms. Birds tweeted outside, the wind flew threw the leaves of tree's without hesitation. Isabella smiled as she walked outside of the cave, she had never seen such a beautiful area. The woods were of autumn color. Reds, Oranges, Yellows, even golden turned the forest into a magical spot. Isabella smiled. She looked up at the happy birds dancing in the early dawn light. The sun was just peeking behind the trees when Isabella jumped on FireHeart and he soared above the ground, high above the clouds. Bella had gotten used to the wind flowing through her red hair, her skin always had a cool rush when she was flying. She had learned to do tricks most people couldn't do even if they did have dragons. With one word, Isabella did a trick that she had successfully landed many times before. She stood up on her dragons back, flipped backwards off the dragons and fell down. Her head was facing the ground as she fell. She felt no fear as her dragon was face to face with her, upside down, falling. Then right before Isabella could fall to her doom, her dragon used his wings and spread them out ever so gently, catching Isabella on his back before riding away into the dawn light. "That was awesome buddy! I think you deserve a feast!" Isabella chanted. FireHeart's ears pricked at the sound of the word. Whenever Isabella said "Feast" It meant that he could be gone the whole day, killing heard's of animals for his craving hunger that gnawed at his belly this second. He looked back at her with his eyes before gliding onward in search of food. ~~~ Isabella walked back into the cave after hours of dueling labor. She had been working on the cave's structure. Trying to figure out if it would be a suitable home. The cave, she had found, spit off into two different rooms, each entryway had vines hiding that the room ever existed. She had found it on accident, while playing with FireHeart, she landed on his tale and he flew his tale up by surprise. She was flung behind the vines into the room where she discovered a small waterfall glistening down the wall in her right room, and her left room was sightly smaller, but still held the same amount of glory. Her back ached, but she got to rest by a fire lit by FireHeart. At only one year of age, he learned to breath fire. A trait not many dragons, who ever existed, had. When one of them was tired, the other would light the fire for the night, it was a cycle that worked well for the both of them. Isabella smiled and rubbed her hands in front of the fire, seeking warmth from it's endlessly moving flames. Sitting down after hours of dueling labor, instantly made her sore back relax to a stance it hadn't stood in all day. She took out deer meat that she had caught previously that day. Finding suitable sticks, she managed to stick the meat over the fire. After about 20 minutes of turning the sticks, the meat was suitable to eat. Both Isabella and FireHeart licked their lips hungrily, taking up all their energy to resist biting it all up. Isabella gave the biggest piece to FireHeart, who gobbled up the meat with glee. She took her own time eating the meat, trying to make sure her stomach didn't disagree with the food she was trying to get it to process. She took a big juicy bite of the cooked meat. Her face spread into a smile at the taste of juicy food. With her stomach full, her cave safe, and her dragon fed, Isabella was able to fall into a slumber that left her clueless. ~~~ Isabella opened her eyes to find herself atop a cliff that fell off miles long, the bottom could not been seen from Isabella's vantage point. She dared looking over the edge carefully before turning around to walk but found herself walking off the edge of another cliff! "AHHH!" Isabella screamed trying to grab hold of the side of the platform. Her body swung around and hit the bottom of the platform, knocking the breath out of Isabella's frail body. Her fear made itself clear in her emerald eyes. She closed her orbs, telling herself not to look down. Her fingers suddenly grew sweat, and her grip on the platform was loosening. Isabella tried grabbing on tighter, but each time she attempted it, she would only end up slipping off further. Then her grip completely disappeared . Her hands lost the smooth surface of the platform and her arms flailed helplessly as she fell to her death. Her eyes closed as she fell, then with a blink of an eye, was caught. A stranger stood over her, wearing a black hoodie, a red bandanna covering his eyes, and ripped black jeans. He wore black shoes that Isabella could not identify. Her hand was being held up by his. "WHO ARE YOU?" You scream. "I.... I don't know. I just opened my eyes are you were here, falling! And I just.... caught you..." He said dumbfound. Isabella flushed. She tossed her other hand up and the stranger grabbed it with ease. He pulled Isabella up without straining his muscle's a bit. Once Isabella was on the platform she fell to the ground and panted. The stranger bent down and patted her back, in a comforting way. Isabella couldn't breath when a sudden dust storm appeared. Her eyes shut tight and the stranger bent down next to her. Her lungs screamed for air, which she refused to give them. Then, without thought, she fell off, falling to death. Before she hit the solid ground, her body vanished. And she fell into darkness. ~~~ A scream could be heard from miles away in the forest. Isabella woke up with a start. She realized it had been her that was screaming. I.... I've never screamed like that when I had a dream..... And, who was that person in my dream. It was definitely a male, but I've never seen him before. He acted like he was dreaming as well..... I wonder....? FireHeart looked dazedly confused as he shot a curious glance at Isabella. She looked over at him and smiled. She pushed off of her hands and walked over to her one of a kind dragon. "It's okay FireHeart, just a dream....: Isabella said, not believing her own words. He snorted in disagreement and turned his head in the direction of outside. Isabella smiled. "Come on" She shrugged her shoulder, signaling for her dragon to follow. And together, the two headed out into the woods beyond
