My phone was fried, and my hand went numb. I couldn't stop shaking it. Kevin noticed I was in pain and quickly called an ambulance. EMTs arrived on the scene and explained how the shock damaged my nerves. It temporarily caused my hand to be paralyzed. However, it will slowly come back to life. A burn spot magically appeared on my hand. Which was expected, they said. They gave me pain medication and wrapped it up. My brother joined after they left. "What happened to you?" he asked.

“My phone shocked the crap out of me. I will be fine.” I said as I rubbed my injured hand.

“Are you okay with this? We can g—”

Kevin reminded Evan about a police escort. I am not allowed to be alone anywhere anymore. The suspect has his eyes on me and could be in plain sight. Evan was furious and wanted to be done with this whole thing until Brandon showed up to calm him down. They both left the room with no drama. “Really, Kevin?” I furiously said.

“I’m serious, Ells. You can’t be alone anymore. When you are at work, you are to stick with Kaylee. Then a police escort will take it from there. This stalker is out there, and you are his target. I want you safe and alive, away from danger. Do you understand?” he told me firmly. I rolled my eyes and responded, “yes, dad,” as I sat back on the table. I felt like a kid again.

I was ordered to stay home the next day to recover. Aria cooked breakfast, as I don’t have the motivation to do anything right now. I had my head buried in the pillow. “I’m going to work. I will see you when I get off for lunch. Stay safe.” He said. I heard him snatch his jacket off the rack and walked out. Once that happened, another person entered.

“I know you are still mad about yester—” Kevin went to comfort me, but I pushed him away.

“Leave me alone. I want to sleep in peace.” I mumbled under the pillow. After what happened, I had zero energy. I went from happy to depressed in days. I’m forced to be watched and stay inside the house since my escort is here. I don’t like this one bit. "Go to work and just leave me alone."

“That’s impossible, as I am your escort today,” he said nervously. I got up and went to the kitchen. This can’t be happening. I put my head down on the kitchen table. The smell of eggs filled my nostrils as Aria told me to stop being a grinch. That being mopey will ruin my perfect skin.

“STOP! Don’t make this a joke. Horrible shit is happening around this town. On top of that, I got involved in the case, and now I’m a potential target for this fucker. Because of that, I’m being followed everywhere and can’t go out alone. No amount of jokes can make this any better.” I complained. That sudden outburst caused the two to be devastated. They never saw me go off like that. Just not the type to do it. At this point, Aria and Kevin are scared.

Walking to work was weird and unsettling. All these officers were everywhere. I felt like I was in prison but bigger. When arriving at the building, an officer stopped me. “Company ID, please?” he said. I gave him the ID, and he pointed to the side door. Odd, but okay.

The sign on the door said, “top-level staff will enter here.” Not thinking about it, I shrugged my shoulders and went in. The area is quiet, like nobody is even using this. Unexpectedly, complete darkness came over me. I struggled to escape whatever it was. I blacked out when a punch hit my head. My vision was blurry when I woke up. A figure hovered over me; it was wearing a mask. I was going to yell, but a gun entered my sight. You don’t know how badly I wanted to leave. I shut up real quick after seeing that. My body began to shake in fear.

“Evan Cruz, the team leader of the development & design department,” the voice said. I tried to focus on the voice, but it was no use. It sounded like an auto-tune mic. “I warned you not to snoop your nose where it doesn’t belong. I caught you logging into Jennie’s account with your computer the other day. I see all, Evan. No matter if I’m visible or not. I can see you. You thought you could trick me. But you were wrong.” The voice chuckled devilishly.

The fear in my eyes was real. They began to swell up with tears. “I-I honestly thought you were joking around. Now I see you are for real.” I gulped.

“I’m dead fucking serious, Evan!! Keep your hands where they should be, or I will put my hands where something doesn't belong. I hope you checked on your little boyfriend this morning.” He grabs a remote and turns the tv on. The screen showed Brandon tied up in a chair. I wiggled around and screamed. The person set the gun down and pressed his hand against my mouth.

“Scream all you want; it isn’t going to help. If you blah to your sister’s boyfriend, you can kiss Brandon goodbye.” He stated.

"Why are you doing this? Kidnapping all those girls? Killing innocent people? Why?!?!" I yelled again, but this time with pain and anger that my Brandon was in danger. The person shrugged his shoulders and walked back to the table. He said 'not why' in the blandest way possible.

Tears rolled down my cheek. "Awww, you're crying because your little mochi is in danger. That’s cute. You didn't care for him that day when you were flirting with Jennie... Did you!!"

Confused, my head shot up. "H-how did you know that?" I cried softly.

"Because I have been following Jennie for a while, and I see the messages you two have. You wished you hadn't dated Brandon so that you could get with her. What a shame, Evan; I thought you were a good boy, tsk tsk. Now, I'm going to let you go— BUT! I will be watching you closely like a hawk watches his prey. If you tell anybody in any shape or form, then you can say bye to your life and theirs. Do you understand?"

The stalker grabbed me by the hair and pulled me up. He said that this shouldn't hurt as I like this kink. Suddenly, everything went black again– what will I do?
