"It doesn't have to come to this son, you are clearly alive and..." I wanted to continue persuading, but a cold snort came through the entrance. "Hold your breaths, old man, your old self will be doing here today" I looked to see it was Adam who spoke as he entered the base. I gulped and moved from the pillar, slowly getting close to the entrance of the main base as it was more complicated to kill someone there.
Archie was hiding and didn't see my move, but Adam saw it immediately, and like a ghost, he disappeared straight towards the middle base entrance to intercept me, and I nearly cursed his father of the second generation. Another steps make its way into the base, and I look to see Jake. Cold beads of sweat appear on my forehead. 'Am I really dying here today?' ever since I took over and succeeded my father I have never faced a situation that made me so helpless like this. I have faced many life and death fights but I have been able to remain calm and come out of it safe and sound. This time, I felt like there was no hope.
Even though I managed to kill one or two of them? And then what? I will still die as there is no way I can clean all of them up, that was why I tried to heat the negotiation deal, if they accept and leave I will then calmly calculate my thoughts and dispose of them one after the other, but as it stands now there is no success at all.
"I never thought that your smart ass will ever be in this situation at all. It's really exciting to see," Jake said with an evil grin on his face. Suddenly Adam fired, and I nearly died as some part of my body was exposed to him, but I was lucky to hide on time, making the bullet only to scrap my arm. It seems they are really determined to kill me, so no need to continue to pretend with them. "You know, the thing I regretted the most in my life is failing to personally move and kill all of you as I was taking you guys as ants that were not worthy of my shot. And truly you guys were ants to me even until three years ago. I never thought you would all grow up so fast, and the reason was that I totally thought you all were dead except Ace; otherwise, how can I not be on your tails every time, knowing that you are still alive?" I said sneering.
Jake's grin only widened. "Old man, Elizabeth men just surrounded all your other backup bases and are slaughtering all of them with no one left alive. Oh, I forgot to tell you that Eliam has been in the United States all those years whilst training many Mafias and putting a lot of them under him, don't be impatient at all, you will surely die" he said and my body trembled from too much anger 'Waste! all of my men are wastes that are good in being useless. A force grew under their watch, and they didn't even perceive it, not to talk of finding it!!' I almost screamed my mind out whilst I lost hope of any hint of survival more and more.
My forces are already crippled that even though I managed to survive this, I will be as weak as a single overlord of a base. That is, if I was able to survive, which is impossible. 'Those wastes, they should pray that we all die here or else if I survive, they all will still die', swore.
My body was already filled with sweat as I was constantly escaping from death's mouth every minute. Trying to dodge the shots of these three is not something anyone can do at all. I would say that I'm still alive and it's a miracle. It's clear that if it was a close-hand combat, I would have been blown to death already.
The gunshots coming from the two entrances once more decreased a lot, and it was as if my courage and hope were decreasing with the shots. "It's enough, you guys! He is our father for fucks sake, just stop!" A sudden loud voice made its way into the tense space, and soon Vlad appeared and stood in the middle of all the hiding pillars. 'My good son, distract them whilst I find a way to leave will you?' I said inwardly, if my guess is correct, he must have come in through the third door, and that is why he was able to come in without being stopped. My mind ran miles and kilometres with thoughts.
"Get out of there, boy, or you might even die before that old bone", Archie barked, but the boy stood inflicted "You could even kill your own brother?" Vlad said and Jake scoffed. Adam was looking at him coldly; no one knew what he was thinking. 'Good boy!, lovely son' I said inwardly. "Block them, son, so I can take advantage of it to escape", I said to him. "Just calm down, they are not going to kill you as I'm here," he said. 'Stupid boy!' I screamed inwardly "Do you think they are in the mood for negotiation right now? Let me escape first; when they calm down, we can negotiate then," I said.
As I was trying to convince him, Archie communicated with the earphones on his ear, but I didn't hear what he said, nor did I care to, as the only thing on my mind was how to escape. After some contemplation, "Okay," Vlad said, and I almost jumped up in joy. For the first time I felt like stupidity is not all that bad. Jake gave Vlad a disappointed gaze but the son was too focused on making peace and thought Jake was just angry.
As he blocked the road, I immediately turned. I ran towards the location of the third entrance so fast that it felt like a blur "Arghh!!" I screamed as a bullet was inserted into my arm as Adam shot but I gritted my teeth, endured it and escaped.
