Before Gicreo could shoot his bullet at Dexson, Kael threw his poisonous knife at Gicreo, followed by Jack's shot, causing Gicreo to immediately vomit blood.

Meanwhile, Dexson managed to knock down all of Gicreo's men, sustaining only a few bruises on his face.

"You deserve to die, Gicreo!" Dexson seemed unwilling to give Gicreo a chance to live, immediately delivering several blows in a fit of rage. He didn't care that Gicreo was already very weak.

"How dare you mess with my woman, you will never win against me," Dexson growled.

Dexson stared at Damian with a sharp gaze after he was satisfied with finishing off Gicreo.

"Now it's your turn, Damian! I won't let you live," said Dexson as he approached Damian.

Damian immediately took his knife and pointed it at Caroline's neck. "No one can come near, or you'll see me die with Caroline," Damian threatened with a laugh.

"If you all won't let me have Caroline, then it's better for Caroline to die with me," he continued.

"Damn it! I can't be reckless, Caroline's life could be in danger," Dexson growled silently.

"I'm giving you a chance, you'd better all leave. And let me live happily with Caroline, because soon she will be carrying my child," said Damian as he caressed Caroline's cheek.

Caroline herself was silent and crying, she was helpless. She didn't even have the strength to speak.

"Look. My wife is crying, that means she is very happy. So I'm warning you not to interfere with my relationship," Damian threatened.

"That man is completely insane," Kael muttered with an annoyed expression.

"Let go of Caroline, Damian! She's my wife now," Dexson growled.

"Do you think I don't know? You two only had a contract marriage? The truth is, Caroline still loves me very much," Damian replied with a laugh.

Dexson signaled to Jack and Kael with his eyes. And they certainly understood the signal Dexson gave them.

"Stop your nonsense. Don't you realize your past mistakes? Caroline was never happy when she was with you," Dexson growled.

"But now, I will make her happy. And you have no right to control me," Damian snapped.

"I don't care! Because now Caroline is mine," said Dexson with a sharp gaze. He continued walking towards Damian and immediately punched him.

When Damian tried to hit Caroline, Dexson immediately kicked the knife away. Damian panicked, intending to fight back, but Jack had already fired several shots at him, knocking him unconscious.

"Kael, give them poison and make sure they're both dead!" Dexson ordered firmly.

Kael immediately obeyed Dexson's command, giving them both poison and ensuring they were truly dead.

Dexson looked at Caroline with teary eyes, then released the chains that bound her body.

"I'm sorry, I'm late," Dexson said softly as he hugged Caroline tightly.

Caroline just stood there with a blank stare, as if she had lost the will to live.

"Dexson, hurry up and take her to the hospital," Jack ordered.

Dexson immediately carried Caroline's body. Before leaving, Dexson kissed Caroline's forehead.

Caroline was treated at the nearest hospital. The doctor had examined and treated her injuries.

Two hours later, Caroline regained consciousness. She saw Jack and the others looking at her with concern.

"Jack, I don't want to be here. I want to go home and see Dad and Mom," Caroline whispered.

"Caroline, you're still very weak. It's better for you to be treated here first. Your parents are fine too," said Dexson, gently stroking Caroline's head.

Caroline immediately pushed Dexson's hand away and glared at him. "Shut up! You're just like them. Don't touch me," Caroline said with a trembling voice.

"Jack! Tell this man to leave. I don't want him here. I don't want him to touch me," Caroline screamed hysterically.

"Caroline, I'm Dexson. I won't hurt you," said Dexson, holding Caroline's hand.

"Get out! Don't touch me. You're just like them, only wanting my body. You think of me as your sex slave," snapped Caroline.

Jack immediately forced Dexson to leave. Dexson wanted to go back inside because he couldn't accept that Caroline hated him. However, Jack and Kael stopped him.

"Dexson, don't make her condition worse. She needs rest to recover. Don't let Miss Caroline continue to be hysterical because of you," said Jack.

"But what did I do wrong, Jack? Why does Caroline hate me?" asked Dexson with a frustrated look on his face.

"The lady is in a bad state, you should understand that. She has been abused by more than one person," said Jack angrily.

Jack then went back inside.

"It's better for us to wait outside first until your wife is much calmer. Your wife must be experiencing severe trauma," said Kael.

"I can't bear it if Caroline hates me," Dexson whispered. He slumped down, as if all his energy had disappeared.

"They've succeeded in destroying me if Caroline really hates me," he continued with a frustrated look on his face.

Kael patted Dexson's back gently. "You can't lose hope. You should find out why Caroline is like this with you. She seems to be afraid of you."

Dexson looked at Kael. What Kael said was true. All men should make Caroline afraid, but why was it only him?

"Don't you find it strange that she only hates and is afraid of you? With Jack and me, her gaze is normal. Even Caroline isn't afraid of Jack," explained Kael.

"And you heard her say that you made her a sex slave, right? Did you treat Caroline roughly before?" he continued, looking at Dexson.

"We did have sex several times, and I could never control my passion. Caroline herself was willing to help me, could that be why?" explained Dexson.

"Did you ever do it with Caroline when she was tired? But you kept forcing her?" asked Kael.

"I did it several times when she was asleep, and eventually I was caught. But I didn't stop because I was overcome with passion. Caroline herself also allowed me to touch her while she was still asleep," replied Dexson.

"You're so stupid, Dexson! No wonder Caroline thinks you're just using her as a prostitute or a slave to your lust." Kael was naturally upset when he heard Dexson's explanation.
