Chapter 120 Epilogue
Chapter 120 Epilogue
\- Queen Heminica’s POV -
Today, I will seal my fate… I will seal my destiny, because I am certain of one thing: I am meant to spend my lifetime with the man I love. My soulmate, my predestined partner, my oxygen… he is the only man I would ever want to share my life with—King Simone Rosenberg, the King of Vampires.

~ Heart beats fast Colors and promises ~
The moment I heard the first notes of the song, the curtains in front of me slowly opened, revealing a sea of people. I didn’t focus on their faces; my gaze immediately locked on the aisle ahead, where my heart began pounding erratically. My steps felt heavy, yet light, each movement a mix of nervousness, anticipation, and overwhelming excitement.
~ How to be brave? How can I love when I’m afraid to fall? ~
My father took my hand, and together we began walking down the aisle. My chest felt like it was ready to explode as countless memories of Simone flooded my mind. Every moment we shared, every hardship we endured, every longing glance we stole from one another—it all replayed vividly. A tear slipped down my cheek despite my effort to remain composed.
~ But watching you stand alone? All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow ~
My world stopped the moment I saw him standing at the altar. Dressed in a white formal suit that hugged his broad frame perfectly, he looked breathtaking. His dark hair shone under the sunlight, his eyes glimmering with love and longing. My breath caught in my throat, and I felt my knees threaten to buckle. After all these years, after all the suffering and trials, here he was, waiting for me.
~ One step closer I have died every day waiting for you.
Darling, don’t be afraid, I have loved you For a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more ~
A small, relieved smile escaped my lips. I had waited an eternity for this moment. Every day of my life, my heart had searched for him. Even in my darkest moments, I had known that he existed somewhere, waiting for me as I waited for him. My wolf remained silent, but I could feel her joy radiating through me, her excitement matching my own.
~ Time stands still
Beauty in all she is
I will be brave I will not let anything take away
What’s standing in front of me Every breath Every hour has come to this ~
No matter what dangers awaited us, no matter how many challenges life had prepared, I knew we could face them together. There was no force in this world, nor any magic in the supernatural realm, that could separate me from Simone. My eyes remained locked on his as I took each step closer, my heart swelling with certainty. He smiled at me, his gaze radiating love, desire, and devotion.
~ One step closer,
I have died every day waiting for you Darling, don’t be afraid,
I have loved you For a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more ~
I was so lost in him that I didn’t notice how near I had come until my father gently gave my hand to Simone.
“Take care of my daughter,” my father said softly.
Simone’s eyes softened as he took my hand. “I will, Father,” he replied. His voice was steady, but I could feel the depth of his emotion. My father nodded, smiling, and stepped back, leaving me completely in Simone’s care.
“You’re so beautiful, Love,” he whispered, his breath warm against my ear. I felt a shiver run down my spine, my cheeks warming as I met his gaze.
I smiled shyly, trying to hide my racing heart. “You look so handsome,” I said, my voice soft but full of admiration.
He grinned, a playful sparkle lighting his dark eyes. “I know,” he said confidently. His arrogance always made me laugh, yet it never failed to make my heart flutter.
~ And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me I have loved you, for a thousand years,
I’ll love you for a thousand more ~
My love for him was unshakable. Every glance, every word, every gentle touch only made me love him more. The world around us faded away, leaving only the two of us in a space of pure connection and devotion.
The priest’s voice began to fill the space in front of us, but I could barely hear him. My mind wandered back to every moment with Simone... the struggles, the stolen glances, the longing that had been years in the making. I had suffered much to remain alive, to survive. But all of it led me here, to this perfect moment where I would be united with the man who completed me.
I remembered the day I had nearly given up on life, standing on the edge of the cliff, ready to surrender to the void. But fate had intervened; vampires had found me, changed me, saved me from death. And ultimately, it led me to where I truly belonged.
Simone’s eyes met mine as the priest’s words washed over us. “I do,” he said quietly, yet with a certainty that shook me to my core. His eyes, dark and intense, conveyed love, desire, and protection all at once.
“Queen Heminica Gargantilla,” the priest began, “do you take this man to be your husband, to live together in holy matrimony, to love him, honor him, comfort him, and keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?”
I stared at Simone. His gaze was overwhelming, holding so many unspoken emotions: love, longing, reassurance. I felt tears prick my eyes again as I realized I had not yet spoken. Summoning all the strength in my heart, I said, “Yes, I do, Father.” I smiled sweetly at Simone, and his face lit up, relief and happiness dancing in his eyes.
“King Simone, please repeat after me,” the priest said.
“I, King Simone Rosenberg, take you, Queen Heminica Gargantilla, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part,” he recited, each word infused with sincerity, never breaking eye contact with me.
“Queen Heminica, please repeat after me,” the priest instructed.
“I, Queen Heminica Gargantilla, take you, King Simone Rosenberg, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part,” I echoed, my eyes never leaving his. Each word was a promise, a seal of the bond we had been destined to share.
Rings were exchanged, and the priest announced, “By virtue of the authority vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife.”
The applause was deafening, yet I heard nothing but Simone’s heartbeat in sync with mine.
“You may now kiss the bride,” the priest said.
I gasped when Simone pulled me close, holding my waist with a firm yet tender grip. Before I could react, his lips pressed against mine with such intensity and passion that my knees nearly gave out. The cheers and claps of our guests faded into a distant murmur as I melted into him.
After a long, soul-stirring kiss, he pulled back just enough to smile down at me. “I love you,” he whispered, and the depth in his voice made my heart ache with happiness.
“I love you too,” I replied, my voice trembling with emotion.
Turning to face our families and guests, I saw my parents beaming with tears of joy. My gaze traveled to my left, and I saw Helena smiling with tears in her eyes, standing beside Froylan, who held little Frost in his arms. Frost clapped his hands excitedly, and my heart swelled with love and gratitude.
I mouthed a silent “thank you” to my sister, overwhelmed with happiness that she, too, had found her own love and peace. Destiny had tested us all, challenged us, yet here we were... victorious, united, and ready to embrace our lives together.
I took Simone’s hand, feeling the warmth and security of his touch, and smiled as he sealed our bond with another gentle kiss. In this moment, surrounded by love, family, and the blessings of fate, I knew one thing with unwavering certainty: we had won. We had conquered the trials, the pain, and the distance that had kept us apart.
Destiny had been fulfilled, and our hearts, our eternal hearts, would forever beat as one.
Right now, I could only whisper to myself, smiling through tears, “We won… and I will never let go.”
