        SAMANTHA'S POINT OF VIEW
"You haven't said anything, Giovan," I stated firmly, fixing my gaze on him with an intensity that I hoped would penetrate his apparent indifference.

He shifted slightly, his expression one of irritation, and shot back,

"And what do you want me to say?" The annoyance in his voice resonated, making my heart race with frustration.

I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the situation pressing down on me, and replied,

"What do you mean, what do you want me to say? I'm pregnant with your child, for Pete's sake!" I couldn't contain the exasperation that seeped into my voice as I crossed my arms defiantly over my chest, a huff escaping my lips. It felt as if all the responsibility of this moment was crashing down on us both, and I needed him to acknowledge it.

His casual demeanor only stoked the fire of my anger further.
"And I'm asking what you want me to do," he said nonchalantly, as if the gravity of the situation barely phased him. Each word felt like a dismissal, sending a surge of indignation bubbling to the surface.

I raised my eyebrows sharply at his question, taken aback by his apparent lack of concern.

"Why would you let yourself get pregnant when it's obvious neither of us wants this baby?" he continued, each word landing like a heavy blow. My heart sank at his statement, and I felt a swell of heat rise to my cheeks.

"Aren't we old enough to become parents? Giovan, my parents would disown me if they even thought for a second I was considering giving birth to this child out of wedlock!" My voice was tinged with urgency, and I bit my lip, feeling the anxiety gnawing at me. The thought of their reaction loomed over me like a dark cloud, amplifying the panic swirling inside.

"My mom," I began again, trying to keep my voice steady despite the storm of emotions,

"the thing is, no one even knows that I'm still in touch with you. If they find out, they'll be furious; they'll be devastated and disappointed in me." I paused, taking a shaky breath to calm my racing heart.

"So I'm asking you, what do we do now?" I asked again.

"I don't care what you choose to do, Samantha," Giovan stated, his voice laced with frustration.

"Are you actually serious right now, Giovan??" I exclaimed, my voice tinged with disbelief and hurt.

"You’re the one who has constantly been clinging to me, wanting to be by my side, and now that I’m pregnant, you just decide to act as if none of this matters to you? You seem so unconcerned, almost indifferent!" I said, the frown on my forehead deepening, revealing the tumult of emotions crashing within me.

"I want to be completely honest with you," he replied, his tone shifting as if he was steeling himself for the conversation.

"I'm asking you to consider getting rid of the baby. We both know that we haven’t been prepared for this; neither of us wants to take on this responsibility." His words hit me like a punch to the gut, and I instinctively bit down on my lip, trying with all my might to suppress the tears threatening to spill over.

"What???...... I'm sorry, I didn’t quite catch that — did you seriously just say that, Giovan???...... You’re telling me we both don’t want the baby???? What exactly do you mean by that??" My voice shook, a mixture of disbelief and anger coursing through me like fire.

"If you don’t want this child, well, I want this baby, Giovan! There’s no way in hell I'm going to abort my child!" The words rushed out of me like a dam breaking, as I frantically wiped the tears that began to trail down my cheeks, my heart heavy with grief and frustration.

"Well, Samantha, that's the decision you've made, and it’s a burden you'll have to bear alone. Frankly, I have no desire to take on the role of a father—it's not something I want or need in my life right now. I have much greater priorities to focus on. If you choose to go ahead and keep the baby, that’s entirely up to you. Just know that I don't want any part of it—or, quite frankly, of that... that thing growing inside you," he declared with a dismissive wave of his hand. The impact of his words hit me like a cold wave. I felt an immediate rush of disbelief and betrayal.

"You... how dare you just refer to my baby as a thing?" I exclaimed, my voice thick with indignation as my emotions spiraled out of control. In a surge of fury, I raised my hand and slapped him hard across his right cheek, the sound echoing in the room.

"You have no right to objectify my child in such a cruel manner!" I yelled, the anger bubbling inside me like a volatile volcano ready to erupt. He instinctively reached up to massage his cheek where my hand had made contact, his glare fixed intently on me as if he were trying to gauge my next move.

"Sam, listen, I really don’t want to resort to anger or violence here... I’m asking you to please not provoke me," he said, his voice adopting an unsettling calmness that sent shivers down my spine. But I could sense a storm brewing beneath his composed exterior; I knew it was only a matter of time before his anger broke free.

"You know what? You’re absolutely right—perhaps I should have stayed away from you like everyone else did. You’re nothing but a psychopath, a true devil in disguise. Honestly, I wish for you to suffer a fate worse than anything I can imagine!" I shouted, my words laced with venom as I felt the weight of my emotions dragging me deeper into a dark abyss. He scoffed loudly at my outburst, a hollow laugh that only added fuel to my fire. The tension in the room was palpable, thick enough to cut through with a knife.

"You really should have stayed away from me, Samantha," he said, a sly smirk playing at the corners of his mouth.

"And guess what? You're not the only one who's said that to me." His tone dripped with a mix of arrogance and challenge, as if relishing in the power he wielded over me in this moment.

"But you love me, don't you? I mean, you used to love me so much. What on earth changed?" I implored, my voice trembling slightly as I struggled to suppress the sniffles that threatened to escape.

"You genuinely think I ever loved you?" he shot back, a defined edge piercing his voice.

"Sweetheart, the only reason I got close to you at all was that I didn't want Donovan to win by having you." He rolled his eyes dramatically, a gesture that left me utterly bewildered and questioning everything I thought I understood about our relationship.

His words hit me like a slap across the face.

"The truth is," he continued, voice dripping with disdain, "the reason I started to act like I cared was all because of Donovan. He liked you since we were kids, and that infuriated me. I decided to make you mine instead, just to spite him. But let me be clear—I never loved you. So do everyone a favor and just get out of my house." His voice rose to a shout, the anger in him bubbling over and leaving me reeling.

Air caught in my throat, my heart sinking like a stone as his shocking confession echoed in my ears. I gasped, the reality of his words sinking in with a painful clarity. I stood frozen, staring at him in disbelief, as the warmth I once knew began to evaporate into the cold, harsh truth.

"You... you never loved me?" I managed to croak out, my voice cracking under the weight of my anguish. Tears streamed down my cheeks uncontrollably, each drop a testimony to the pain of betrayal I felt flooding through me. How could years of shared laughter, secrets, and dreams be reduced to nothing but a misguided attempt at revenge? I felt like I was standing on the precipice of a cliff, staring into an abyss of despair, unable to grasp the full extent of what I had just heard.

"Nope, I’ve just come to a profound realization about what it truly feels like to experience love, and you simply won’t believe the person who has stolen my heart. It turns out, I’m completely smitten with none other than Donovan’s personal doctor. Isn’t it fascinating how fate seems to align in such peculiar ways? It’s as though I’m destined to always find myself entwined with the very thing that captures his attention,” he proclaimed, an ironic smirk dancing on his lips. My immediate reaction was one of disbelief; I let out an exasperated huff, the weight of his words settling uncomfortably in the pit of my stomach.

In that moment, a stark realization washed over me like a cold wave crashing against the shore—I had made a monumental mistake in underestimating this situation. Donovan, with all his complexities, is infinitely better than this man standing before me, and I was determined to expose his deceitful antics to everyone around us.

“I’m going to make sure everyone knows just how dangerously you've been trying to manipulate Donovan and push him even further into a state of mental instability,” I retorted, my voice steady despite the storm of emotions swirling within me.

To my surprise, he erupted into laughter, the sound rich with mocking disbelief.
“Seriously? You think you can just waltz around and share that little tidbit with anyone who will listen? I dare you, Samantha. I absolutely dare you to go tell anyone and watch me take out your parents one after the other ” he taunted, his voice dripping with disdain. My heart raced as an icy chill crept down my spine, sending goosebumps cascading over my body at the implications of his words.

“Wait, what? Did you just threaten to kll my parents?” I asked, my voice hardly above a whisper, filled with sheer incredulity. The absurdity of his declaration simmered in the air, thick and suffocating.

“You heard me, Sam. Don’t pretend you didn't catch every single word. There’s no point in me repeating myself. Just know this: your parents' lives rest precariously in your hands now,” he stated with a chilling finality.

He stepped closer, invading my personal space, leaned in to plant a condescending kiss on my cheek. The intimacy of the gesture contrasted harshly with the ominous threat laced in his words, leaving me breathless and terrified, ensnared in a web of fear and confusion.

"Since you don't want to leave, I will...."He said and walked out of the room with a creepy smile on his face.

 WILSON'S MANSION

SELENA'S POINT OF   VIEW( KIMBERLY'S MOM)

As I stood there, my eyes restlessly darting to the clock, an infectious smile spread across my face while I moved excitedly around the dining table. The anticipation bubbled within me as I thought to myself,
I can hardly contain my excitement...he is finally coming home after all this time!,The thought alone filled my heart with warmth and joy, illuminating my day like the sun breaking through a cloudy sky.

"Is the lemon tea ready?" I called out, my voice laced with a hint of impatience.

"You know how he is; my husband simply cannot eat anything until he has first sipped his favorite lemon tea." With that, I watched the maid spring into action, her footsteps hurried as she rushed to prepare the fragrant beverage.

As I leaned against the dining table, my hands thoughtfully resting on my jaw, I began to ponder the other details that might be needed for the perfect him.

Just then, I felt the warm embrace of someone wrapping their arms around me from behind, enveloping me in a comforting hug. Instantly, a smile lit up my face as I recognized the familiar scent, a delightful blend of his cologne that made my heart flutter.

"You're back from school so early today, son!" I exclaimed, feeling a mix of surprise and happiness wash over me. He chuckled softly, the sound cheerful yet playful.

"Early indeed, Mom... it's past 2 PM already," he replied, stepping around to face me. The sun casting a soft glow through the kitchen window highlighted his features as he smiled at me.

"Good afternoon, Mom," he greeted me warmly, and I couldn't help but beam back at him, my heart swelling with affection. I instinctively reached out to playfully tug at his cheek, a gesture that had become a sweet ritual between us.

"Afternoon, sweetheart… You seem to be in an exceptionally good mood today. What’s the secret behind that bright smile?” I asked, my curiosity piqued as I noticed the way his cheeks seemed to flush a rosy shade.

"I’ve always been in a good mood, Mom," he replied coyly, a charming grin spreading across his face. I let out a knowing scoff, amused by his feigned innocence.

"Yes, Royce," I said, giving him an exaggeratedly stern look that soon melted into a grin,

"but let’s not forget that you were in a rather foul mood yesterday." He nodded sheepishly.

"Okay, fine, you caught me, Mom," he admitted with a playful grin that spread across his face.

"I did have a bit of a quarrel with someone, but don't worry, we're good now." His expression lightened, and the corners of his mouth lifted in a reassuring smile.

I couldn't help but tease him a little, so I raised an eyebrow and said,

"Let me guess, it was a girl, right?" His reaction was instant; he bit his lower lip in that endearing way he often did when he was flustered, cheeks flushing a soft shade of pink as he nodded enthusiastically. It was so cute that I couldn't resist letting out a small squeal.

"Awwww, look at you! You’ve finally fallen in love, my son! This is such wonderful news, and I am so incredibly happy for you!" I exclaimed, my voice overflowing with excitement. His blush deepened, and he quickly redirected his gaze down to the table, as if the glass surface could provide him some cover from the flurry of emotions that suddenly surrounded him.

Curious about the shift in atmosphere, he glanced around the table, his eyes wide with surprise as he asked,

"What's going on? Are we celebrating something? There's so much food here!" He took in the colorful array of dishes meticulously arranged on the table, nearly overflowing with delicious options, and it was clear that the abundance caught him off guard.

"Yes, sweetheart," I replied, my voice filled with warmth and enthusiasm.

"Your dad called me this morning right after you left for school. He said he's coming back home today!" I couldn’t hide my happiness, but the moment I said those words, I noticed a dark cloud cast over his expression.

His face fell with an unmistakable frown, contrasting sharply with my cheerful spirits.

"What’s wrong, honey?" I asked gently, trying to understand what was troubling him.

"Aren't you excited that your dad is finally returning home?"

To my surprise, he scoffed defiantly, shaking his head as if the idea itself was absurd.

"And why should I be happy that he’s coming back after all this time? Honestly, I’ve gotten so used to him being absent that I think it would have been better if he never returned at all," he said, his brow furrowing deeper as frustration clouded his tone. The shift from joy to disappointment was palpable, leaving a weight in the air that was hard to ignore.

"He didn’t answer your call, and it felt like an eternity had passed before he finally reached out and now that he's called and said that he's coming home....... You're preparing all these for him?? "He said, gesturing toward the array of delicious dishes I had painstakingly prepared.

“Don’t say that, sweetheart,” I replied, trying to calm his frayed nerves.

“Your father certainly has his reasons for everything he’s done. He shared some of them during our conversation earlier.” I could see his eyes rolling back in his head, signaling his frustration with my attempts to defend his father.

“Oh, please, Mom. This is ridiculous! I'm done discussing this,” he replied sharply, cutting me off.

“I’m going to my room. I really need to rest.” He turned on his heel, but I couldn’t let him walk away without saying something.

“Aren't you going to eat something, son?” I implored, concern lacing my voice.

“No, Mom, I've just lost my appetite. But if Dad shows up, I’ll come downstairs to eat then,” he responded, his tone flat.

“I need to find out what kind of excuse he has for ditching us all this time.” With that, he walked away, retreating to his sanctuary of a room, the door closing behind him with a heavy thud.

I let out a sigh and sank into the chair that was positioned nearby. As much as I tried to suppress my anger, I had to admit he was justified in his feelings—Royce was right. Wilson certainly had a lot of explaining to do. My hand instinctively moved to my cheek, where I rested my fingers gently, lost in thoughts that swirled around my mind. What could possibly take him away from us for so long?

#34 MINUTES LATER#

The anticipation had been building for what felt like an eternity, and finally, the moment I had been waiting for arrived.
"Ma'am, he’s here," one of the maids announced breathlessly as she rushed into the room. Instantly, a surge of energy coursed through me. I jumped to my feet and hurried out of the house, my heart racing with excitement and a hint of anxiety.
As I stepped outside, I was greeted by the sight of multiple luxury cars pulling into the sprawling driveway of our mansion. I had been eagerly awaiting his arrival for quite some time, and the longer he took, the more worried I became that perhaps he had decided not to show up after all.

Standing there, I scanned each of the vehicles with bated breath, trying to predict from which one he would emerge. As the engines rumbled to a halt, my eyes fixated on one particular car.

In an instant, one of his bodyguards sprang into action, swiftly opening the rear passenger door. When he finally stepped out of the car, my breath caught in my throat. He appeared remarkably dashing, exuding an effortless charm that made my heart flutter. He looked just as handsome as I remembered, and even more alluring in the late afternoon sunlight pouring down around him.

“Honey!” I couldn’t contain my excitement any longer; I let out a squeal reminiscent of a giddy child. Without a second thought, I dashed towards him and enveloped him in a warm embrace, holding him tightly as if fearing he might disappear.

“How are you doing, Selena?” he inquired, his voice smooth and comforting. But my heart sank slightly at the sound of my name. I pulled back from our hug, my brow furrowing in surprise. Did he just call me by my name? It struck me as odd and somewhat distant, especially since he hadn’t even reciprocated the embrace in the way I had expected.

“I’m... I’m fine,” I replied cautiously, trying to gauge his mood.

“But why are you calling me by my name? What happened to ‘Honey,' the name you always use for me?” I asked, an eyebrow raised in confusion. His lips curled into a slight smile, a glimmer of mischief dancing in his eyes as he reached out and took my hand in his. The touch sent a familiar jolt through me, but I remained puzzled by the abrupt change in his demeanor.

“Let’s go inside,” he said, his voice coaxing as he gently tugged at my arm, encouraging me to follow him into the familiar warmth of the house. I trailed behind him, feeling somewhat like a lost child lost in a crowd, overwhelmed by a wave of nostalgia.
As we crossed the threshold, a flicker of concern rippled through me; it struck me that he hadn’t called me “honey,” a term of endearment that had been a staple in our interactions for as long as I could remember. That small change left a lingering sense of unease in my chest.

“Everything still looks and smells the same,” he remarked, taking a deep breath as he surveyed our surroundings. His gaze swept over the living room, where dust motes danced lazily in the sunlight streaming through the window.

"I could see that the house hadn’t changed much over the weeks"He said and yet, in that moment, it felt as if it was steeped in a bittersweet mixture of past memories and present reality.

“Where’s Royce?” he inquired, his eyes still wandering.

“He's in his room,” I replied softly, the words escaping my lips almost instinctively.

“Send for him. I want us to have a family time together,” he requested, and without hesitation, I turned to one of the maids who was tidying up nearby.

“Please tell Royce to come downstairs; his father wants to see him,” I instructed the maid, who nodded in understanding before she quickly made her way up the staircase.

“Come on, honey, let’s go eat,” I urged, wanting to shift the atmosphere to something more lighthearted.

“I personally cooked for you, and it’s getting cold already,” I said, wrapping my fingers around his hand before he could voice any objections. I felt a flicker of determination to reignite the spark between us as I led him toward the dining room, hoping to create an inviting moment for our family, one that would bridge the gap created by those little changes in our language and interactions.

"Good afternoon"We heard and turned to see Royce walking towards us with a frown on his face.

"Oh Royce, Look how grown you've become.... I almost couldn't recognize you"He said and I chuckled but Royce just kept on a straight face.

"Yeah....... How could you??"He replied with a shrug and sat down close to me.

"Royce, don't talk like that to your father"I said but he just scoffed.

"Let him be Selena...... He's a teenager..... That's how they behave"Wilson said and I bit my lips immediately, He did it again..... He just called me by my name instead of honey,I thought but then heard Royce scoffed loudly.

"Selena???.......You no longer call mom, honey again???...... And What do you mean by I'm a teenager and that's how they do.... Isn't it so obvious that I'm mad at you?"Royce said with a frown glaring at his father.

"You left home for more than a month and cut ties with us and then you all of a sudden return and expect me to welcome you with a smile?.... I mean who does that??"He said and his dad sighed.

"I'm going to ask you this dad,  Where were you for the last past weeks and why did you not pick our endless calls till last week when you started picking mom's call ??"Royce asked and his dad chuckled. I mean I'm also curious to know why he left and did all that so I shut up and let him speak.

"I was in Germany"His dad replied and picked up his spoon dipping it into his food.

"Just that, you're not going to tell us what you went there to do??....because before you left you told us that you'll be going to England for a week, for business. Why then did you end up in Germany??And please why are you all of a sudden calling your wife by her name?? "Royce asked and I bit my lip.

"Okay........you're really impatient, And I guess I shouldn't keep it away anymore. The truth is I actually never went to England...... I went to Germany because I needed peace of mind"He said and I frowned same with Royce.

"You needed peace of mind???...... I don't understand, who was not giving you peace in this house??"Royce asked with a frown.

"Because the last time I checked no one was making you uncomfortable in this house"He added.

"I...... I was tired and I needed to know how it feels like outside this house and believe me it felt great"He said and this time I couldn't hold it in.

"Are you being serious right now, Wilson...... You're going to say that to us without even caring about our feelings???"I asked and he turned to me staring into my eyes.

"Actually there's something else that's important that I want to tell you Selena and I'm sorry to say this but I've been dying to do this for a while now. I'm going to say it in front of Royce because he's no longer a kid "He said and I nodded staring at him.

"And what could that be?"I asked and dropped my fork noticing how serious he's expression has become.

"I want a divorce Selena"He said and I gasped same with Royce and believe me my heart stopped beating for some seconds.

#EVENING#
#HIGGIN'S MANSION#

KIMBERLY'S POINT OF VIEW

"Geez,Sophie did you win a lottery or what???, You've been smiling seriously"I said and she nodded and smiled widely.

"Yes I have, Kim..... Your brother and I are finally dating and believe me, it's worth more than a lottery...... I'm so damn happy right now that I can't stop smiling"She said and hugged her pillow.

"Wow that's great, That jerk must be feeling the same way too. I'm so happy for you guys"I said and she smiled widely hugging the bear more tightly.

" Yeah, thank you..... You should have seen the way the girls in my class were glaring hard at me. I mean I finally have the hottest boy in school as my boyfriend"She said with a giggle.

"Yes cutie and he has the cutest girl that I've met as he's girlfriend too"I said and she chuckled.

"Here's the drug, take just two and I assure you that by tomorrow morning, you'll wake up and forget that you had headaches this night"I said and she dropped the teddy bear and collected the medicine from me gulping it down.

"Thank you doctor Kim"She whispered and gave me back the glass of cup.

"You're welcome, now go to sleep and try not to think of anything"i whispered back and turned to go when I heard her said 'wait'.

"Yes....... "I said.

"Urmmm......do you know my home tutor before??"She asked and I chuckled and shook my head.

"Nope, why are you asking??"I asked.

"I'm asking because...... He always asks questions about you and he always stare keenly at you when you walk past him like you guys has some history together"She said and I became worried instantly.

"I don't know him Sophie and to be sincere your tutor really makes me uncomfortable and really nervous"I replied and she raised her eyebrows immediately.

"You know what..... Just go to sleep now and I'll explain why tommorow morning"I said and she nodded and hugged her teddy tightly.

"Goodnight Sophie"I said and walked out of the room.

I walked to Donovan's room and saw him seated on the bed with a book in his hand..... I had actually given him his drugs before going to Sophie's room and he told me that he'll wait till I'm back.

"Hey..... "He said with a smile as he saw me walked in.

"Hey Novan"I said and walked closer to him giving him a kiss on his lip.  I planed to just peck his lips but Donovan had another plan..... Instead he pulled me closer by my waist and deepened the kiss.

"You promised that you'll look for a pet name for me too"He said cutely after breaking the kiss and I chuckled.

"And I said that I will..... How about...... Baby???..... My heartbeat????......"I was saying when he cut me off.

"Anyone Amica Mea..... I love them all"He said pecked my lips again with his hands wrapped around my waist.

"Ok my baby"I said and he smiled widely immediately.

"I love the sound of that,Amica Mea"He said and kissed my neck and I didn't know when I let out a low moan.

"You said you wanted to take a bath that's why you had left my room earlier, but why are you still in your clothes?? "He asked staring into my eyes.

"Yes I wanted to ,but then came across Sophie and she wasn't looking too well.....I asked her and she told me that she is not feeling good. so I had to give her some drugs too before coming here "I said and he smiled.

"Thank you Amica Mea"He said and pecked my lip again. I mean he loves that, ever since this morning I've been receiving so many kisses from him.

"I'll just quickly go take my bath then"I said and he nodded and unwrapped his hands from my waist.

"I'll be back soon"I said and turned to go when I heard him say.......

"And where do you think you're going to??"He asked.

"Of course I'm off to my room to take my bath."I said and he chuckled.

"Go take your bath in my bathroom, I don't think I want you out of my sight again"He said and I nodded and turned to the direction of the bathroom.

I walked in and inhaled deeply, his bathroom was so big and smelt so good... I mean everything was perfect. I quickly took off my clothes and walked to the shower turning it on.

#7 MINUTES LATER#

I bit my lips staring at my reflection in the mirror, I am through taking my bath and I'm a bit shy to go out...... I mean..... the towel is so short and I'm wondering what I'm going to wear, my clothes are not here.

I sighed and pushed the door open and he was still in the same position that I left him but this time he was so engrossed on his laptop.

I decided to walk to his wardrobe to look for maybe a shirt so I opened it and searched for a while before I found a big T-shirt .I was going to pick it out when I felt Donovan hugged me tightly from behind.

"Hey........ "I said but he cut me off immediately.

"You look so fking sxy in a towel my love...... So fking sexy and I'm not sure that I'm going to be a gentleman tonight"He whispered and kissed my neck, And before I could say jack he loosed my towel making it fall to the ground........ leaving me stark naked.
