Chapter 133 Makar and Dasha Dyominy
Much later it became known that she had paid considerable sums to secure a position at the same agency Oleg used to find a nanny. And it took a lot of connections for her to enter the Yartsev home under another name and appearance. After more than thirty years, Oleg simply couldn’t recognize the petite, mischievous dark-haired girl Svetlana had once been.

But something happened that Svetlana never foresaw.

After getting a job at Yartsev’s firm, Makar met Dasha… and fell in love.

The tiny brunette awakened unbelievably strong feelings in him. Every day he rushed to the company of the father he hated just to see her. Their plans for revenge no longer felt sharp or urgent — because something much better, more desirable, had appeared in Makar’s life, something that made his heart stop and long for every next meeting.

Dasha reciprocated his feelings, and Makar’s world flipped upside down.

As of today, they’ve been together for almost five years, and they had to overcome a lot. Dasha confessed that Makar had struggled with a severe drug addiction. She pulled him from rock bottom and stayed by his side always. For her, he was willing to do anything — including getting clean.

They opened up to each other more and more, and eventually Makar told her about the plans for revenge against his father. But Dasha, with her bright heart and perceptiveness, convinced him to give that up. Why would he need revenge when they had each other?

They got married — which sent Svetlana into a frantic rage. She hated Dasha because she “softened” her son and discouraged him from carrying out the vengeance she had nurtured for decades.

Because they had each other, Makar not only overcame his addiction — he began working harder, started going to the gym, earned more, and eventually opened his own small distribution company.

Revenge became completely irrelevant, because he had found something much more meaningful — his beloved wife. And in time, his meaning in life grew even more, because Dasha became pregnant with twins.

Honestly, these Yartsev men are unbelievable. They truly can do the impossible and move mountains for the women they love.

Dasha respected her husband’s decision not to tell his father anything about himself. He had lived almost thirty-four years without a parent and was convinced he didn’t need one anymore.

But things happened the way they happened.

I ended up in the hospital with a threatened miscarriage, and Dasha was there at the time. She still can’t believe we met and got to know each other in such a way.

But the one who was most shocked was Makar. When he came to Dasha and saw the Yartsevs in her ward, at first he thought she had told them everything — and he was completely stunned.

Later, she and I became very close, and because of that our husbands had to interact as well. Dasha admitted and apologized that she did want them to communicate. Even though the twins didn’t know yet that Makar was their brother, this connection meant a lot to him. He had been alone all his life, and after meeting us — even from a distance, even without revealing himself — he gained something like distant family.

The things his mother shouted during her arrest affected Makar deeply. And that’s no surprise. Such words would wound anyone. No matter what kind of monster she was, she was still his mother. You don’t choose your parents — and hearing such things…

He began to spiral.

Dasha said he had episodes like this before, but only back when they were fighting his addiction. She always stayed beside him, pulling him out of that swamp of despair and hopelessness. She is his lighthouse — his anchor to reality, his light, his vital little sunbeam.

I’m so happy they have each other.

And now… they also have us.
