Chapter 10 Interlocking Essence
Yeseus suddenly sniffed the air.
“Yeseus, is something the matter?”
She remembered yesterday. But this time, Yeseus’ expression was relaxed.
“It’s nothing. We have a visitor.”
A soft flutter was heard just outside the window. Three seconds later, a red-haired boy peeked at the ledge, his translucent wings shimmering as they flapped.
Klishei could not believe it. She was seeing a real fairy in front of her eyes.
“Hi, there!” The boy waved at them. Aside from his wings, his striking red hair and greyish irises, almost white, was a sight to behold.
“Angus, why the urgency?” Yeseus asked.
Angus’ welcoming face turned serious. “I’ve just come back from scouting the waterfall. There were signs of decay. As far as I know, no human has ever wandered that part, unless they were werewolves in the form of humans who could go past through our mirage.”
Yeseus’ expression darkened. He stood. It can’t be. Daevar could not have already spotted them.
“Klishei, just stay and rest here for a while. I’ll go confirm it. Angus, can you take care of her for me?”
Angus made a salute with his hands. “Leave it to me.”
When Yeseus left, Angus sat on the window ledge, letting his wings rest. He let his legs dangle. “Are you feeling sick, Miss Phoenix Bride?”
She did not like what he just called her. “Uhm, please don’t call me that,” she pleaded. “Just call me Klishei.”
“Oh, sorry, my bad. Klishei, it is, then. My name’s Angus. It means fireproof in our language.” He smiled at his name, like he was proud of it.
“How nice. May I ask how old you are?”
“I am 246 years old!”
Klishei’s eyes widened. His baby face and child-like actions were contrary to what he just said. “Whoa.”
Angus looked at her, wondering what she was impressed about. “But I’m still young. A fairy’s lifespan is almost a millenium. I can’t wait to reach adulthood!”
Klishei laughed at that, quickly recovering from the fact that the boy in front of him still had centuries to go.
“Oh, Angus, you said you found a decay? What does that mean?”
Angus scratched his head as he recalled what he stumbled upon earlier. “This sanctuary is protected by a mirage that makes sure no humans ever step foot inside our territory. Did Yeseus already tell you about the Great Divide?”
Klishei nodded. “Yes. He said it was the warring time of Entities and that humans and Entities were separated by the council of the cosmos.”
“Yes, my grandfather said the council imposed a new rule. Entities had to safeguard their territories with a mirage that would keep humans away. Because if not, the essence of a human would cause destruction. The burden was placed on us to make sure that we will not interact with humans as punishment for dragging you with our mess.”
Now that was news to her. “Wait, does that mean that I’m not supposed to be here?”
Angus again scratched his head. “Uh, technically, yes. But I think you’re a special case. You are the host of a goddess so maybe that gives you a free pass.”
Klishei felt her heart thump. “Angus, what are the signs of this… decay that you are talking about?”
“Our environment changes, like you know, plants start to die along the places that you set foot on. Then, everything would slowly crumble, even us. But seeing that nothing has happened yet since you arrived last night, maybe you really are an exemption.” Angus tried to cheer her but Klishei’s mind was already spiraling.
“That means you’re not safe with me here,” she summarized.
“Oh, no, no. It’s too early for conclusions. The signs should have already manifested by now. But look around you. And I’m fine, too! Usually, I should already be feeling something off like my powers are being sucked out.”
With that, Klishei sighed, feeling relieved. “Okay, I believe you, Angus. Thank you.”
Klishei spent the day sleeping and the next two days huddled in her room. Angus informed her that Yeseus was busy reinforcing the mirage and tracking the source of the decay. Angus was kind enough to bring her meals. Plus, she did not dare come out after what she just heard about her bringing destruction inside the sanctuary.
One night, she woke with a knock in the door. Angus always used the window. No other Entity had ever visited her. There was only one person who would use the door.
“Klishei.” He was back.
“Are you tired?” She asked. “Come and sleep.”
Her invitation triggered a hot sensation between the two of them. There was like an invisible magnet that made Yeseus approach her. His hands were already at her neck.
They shared a long kiss under the light of the moon. When they broke away, Yeseus whispered in her ear. “Let’s go inside.”
As soon as they entered, he pushed her against the door, locking the knob while his lips were busy on her neck.
“Ah,” she moaned when Yeseus sucked the flesh of her neck.
He was taking his time. She yearned for him, although it would not take any longer because her hands were also already traveling inside his shirt.
Was this because of her pheromones? But why were her feelings so real in her heart?
“You don’t know how worried I am while you are not here by my side, especially that you are taking risks for my sake.”
Her worries were cut off by another deep kiss. “I’m an Alpha, Klishei. You don’t have to worry about me, except preparing yourself at times like this when your pheromones are active.”
Yeseus lifted the hem of her skirt and snaked his hands around her legs. Then, he knelt and kissed her down there.
“Yeseus…!”
“Sshh. Relax and just enjoy it.”
Yeseus tore her panties off and without allowing her to breathe, he started devouring her mound with his mouth. Klishei could not make out what she was feeling, both pleasure and embarrassment. He held onto his shoulders for support, feeling that her legs would soon give away.
A wave of ecstacy passed from her heart down to her vagina and she felt the need to release it. “Yeseus, stop…I’m going… to get you dirty.”
But Yeseus all the more pushed his tongue deeper, making her let out a gasp as she felt her releasing herself. Her knees buckled at the orgasm and she struggled to remain standing.
Yeseus’ mouth frothed with her cum. His eyes glowed a deep blue color. She realized that she had only powered him up.
“I’m sorry.” She wiped the liquid off his mouth. “You should have pulled away.”
Then, Yeseus carried her in his arms, smirking at her surprised reaction. “Why are you sorry? That was the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted.”
