Chapter 56

The two runners were sent out and we made our way to the huge field where we train. Hayden began to speak to everyone. “Okay, so we are going to do this torment style. First, we will pick our teams. Luna Ember will pick first.”

I looked at the people there. Then I saw Chloe she was sitting on the side lines no doubt she wasn’t going to play. So, I called out her name. “Chloe.” She looked stunned. I don’t even look to see Taylors face. But no Luna I knew would be picked last or not at all.

“Come on I want you on my team.” She ran up to where I was.

“Why did you pick me?”

“You are a Luna and I thought you should play for the only other Luna out here.”

She smiled. I knew she liked that she had been included.

The men all picked their beta. When it came back to me, I picked Alice. She was a beta female and my best friend. Sean scoffed he wanted his mate on his team. We continued to pick I had a lot of females on my team and a few of the younger wolfs.

When I called on Jamie she squealed in delight and ran to our team. Mickey had told me I was happy that I had picked him. Soon the tournament would begin it would first be me and Monroe. “You ready to go down Luna” Monroe chastised.

“We will see won’t we.” I knew a lot of my players were women and we had endurance built up to run a lot so that may give us the advantage. The young men also had a lot of energy which could help us. We were to play to 25 points.

The game began with us seizing the first point. It was hard as a lot of Monroes team was taller than a lot of us and they could block the frisbee. They scored another five points, and we only had the one. I called a timeout.

“Okay they have let their guard down. Let's were them down and throw low and catch low that way they must do more work.”

“Luna how are we supposed to throw a frisbee low.”

“Jest bend slightly.”

“They are winning Luna I think we are going to lose they are a lot taller than most of us.”

“Stop talking like that Chloe. Trust me we have this in the bag if we outlast. Just play keep away and if you can score then score. Our goal is to tire them out, so we can score a lot when they are tired.”

It was my strategy in battle and my strategy in frisbee. It worked and we won after an exceptionally long game. Mikey came up to me and said, “Luna you are brilliant.”

“I try to be.” We all went to sit down and watch Hayden’s team and Taylor’s. Monroe came up to me “Dam, Luna you kicked our ass.”

“Yep, sure did.”

I looked up and saw Hayden I mind linked him. “You better kick his ass.”

“I plan too.”

“Just so you know what happens to winners.” I sent him an image of us in the bedroom. I had him beneath me while I rode him. I was naked and my breasts where bouncing and his hands where on my ass.

“Ember cut it out. Do you want everyone to see me hard.”

“HA, guess not but now you know what will happen if you beat Taylor.”

“Well, what happens when I beat you.”

“Yeah, that won't happen. Now, go kick some ass.”

The two had a heated game Hayden began to win. I could see how mad Taylor was getting. Hayden was only a point away from winning. Then something happened. One of Taylors wolves shifted and bit our pack member who had the frisbee.

The man screamed. Hayden ran up to him. He was gushing blood from the bite on his arm. Hayden helped the man up and put his good arm around his shoulder. He helped him to the side of the field. The doc had come to watch and went to look at the man.

“He will need stiches, but it should heal fine in probably a day with the stiches to aid it. Hayden then went to handle the man who bit a pack member. He walked right up to him and hit him in the face. He didn’t stop he was furious. He was beating him to a pulp when I approached him.

I put my hand on his muscular arm. He calmed down. I spoke up. “I think he has had enough. Lets all head back.”

“Yes, it was rather fun.”

Hayden glared at him.

“Taylor.” I said calmly I was trying to calm down Hayden and getting upset at Taylor was just going to add to Hayden's stress and he needed to calm down. I looked down at the bloody man that Hayden he just beaten.

I bent down to help him up, but he had been knocked out. I called the doc over. “He will need rest Luna to heal.”

“Thankyou.”

“Taylor would you please take him to his barracks to sleep.”

Taylor grunted. I knew he didn’t like that I asked him to do anything. His beta Marc came up and picked up the man and began to carry him away.

I saw that there were still a lot of people hanging around. I spoke up “You all need to clear out now.” They all began to move but it was slowly.

“Faster.”

Then it was just Hayden and myself on the field. I looked at my mate. He was still upset. He hated when a member of his pack was hurt. And in this instance, it was just an act of aggression out of spite, he was pissed. I reached up and cupped his face.

“Mat will be fine okay.”

“I can't believe Taylor sanctioned that.”

“Yeah, well it is Taylor, so I am not surprised.”

“Really everyone will be fine.”

“Thanks for calling the game off.”

“No problem. You were the obvious winner.”

Hayden grinned. “So, can I get my prize now?”
