CHAPTER 9 – THE ONE WITH OLD SONGS 1.1
If other people hear what he's saying, I might lose my license. This is crazy. I'll kick him there when he rolls down.
"I'm just kidding. You didn't answer my question, why are you here now?"
I just shook my head at him and didn't answer his question again. First of all, I was so sleepy. Second, I didn't know if I should tell them everything that happened yesterday, and third, I really wanted to go upstairs when I could change into a turtle neck. I was wearing a V-neck t-shirt. If it weren't for the dark surroundings, Riley would have probably bombarded me with questions about why I had so many small wounds on my neck.
I turned my back on Riley and started climbing again. He was in charge of his life.
"Hey! You see that. You're Sky, baby. You're already a Seener on messenger, are you also a Seener in real life?" he said stupidly again but I ignored him.
I just want to rest! Why are people bothering me?!
"Sorry, baby Sky. Are you really annoyed because of what I said? Oops!"
Just one step and I can go up to the second floor.

Fuck! The surroundings were lit up. Someone suddenly turned on the light!!!
"Skylar Millie Par---AY GAGAAAAA!!!" Riley shouted, quickly grabbing the railings of the stairs because I suddenly pulled the blanket wrapped around her body in shock at the sudden turning on of the light on the second floor.
I wrapped the blanket around my entire body up to my neck to cover the wounds.
"You're so stupid, Sky! I almost fell over!" Riley complained, but I kept staring at the person standing in front of me who had also turned on the light.
"What are you doing?" Luna asked while rubbing her eyes. "Your noise woke me up," she added.
I felt Riley approaching me and her trying to grab the blanket. That's why I looked at her. She's only wearing her red bra and panties. That's why she was wrapped in a blanket.
Why is he dressed like that?!
"Hey! Why are you wearing bold?" Luna asked, frowning while looking at Riley.
"I'm comfortable sleeping like this. Sky! What's wrong with me? The blanket is mine. It's cold!" said Riley, trying to take the blanket from me, so I wrapped it even tighter around myself, especially around my neck.
"I don't know about you." Luna commented while looking at me. "And you? Why are you here now?" she asked me while Riley...
"Sky! That's ours. If I freeze up here in the cold!" he tried to snatch the blanket from me.
Wait!! I'm confused!!
"Do you know we were waiting for you last night?"
"Sky! Hey! That blanket!"
"We wondered how you were. You just brought an update. Auntie is worried about you."
"Sky, it's okay. The old man is getting stiff---"
"WAIT!!!!" I shouted, making them both stop.
Pucha! They were talking at the same time! The one looked like my mother who was still sobbing while she was lecturing me. The other one was just wrestling me a little to get the blanket.
My head is pounding with both of them!
"Riley! If you're cold, go upstairs and get dressed!" I yelled at Riley, who was still surprised by my yelling. "And you Luna, your sermon is so early in the morning! You two are such a mess. I'm tired, okay? I want to sleep. Please, make more mess than my boss!"
After that, I passed them both and started walking ahead. They remained standing in their place and followed me. I ignored them and headed straight for the room.
"Who's the idiot?" I heard Riley ask Luna, who replied with "Your grandfather." before I finally entered the room and slammed the door shut.
When I entered, I turned on the light. To my surprise, there was someone sitting on my bed, looking at me with a frown. He also looked like he had just woken up.
Lord!!! Here we go again!
"Mom? What are you doing here?"
"Your noise woke me up." he said with a yawn. After that, he stood up and approached me with a soft smile.
I know this! I don't know, is the universe angry with me? Don't you want me to rest? I just closed my eyes and took a deep breath before mom spoke.
"Hey...why are you here now?"
I was currently lost in thought while stirring my freshly brewed coffee. After I finished stirring, I took all of my long hair and tied it with a black hairclip that was lying in front of me. When I was satisfied with how my hair was clipped, I took the coffee and walked out of the kitchen to the table where mom, Riley, and Luna were sitting, currently chatting.
Before I could even get close to them, my eyes landed on the large clock hanging on the wall. It was already noon.
"Delicious. Coffee at noon." said mom, looking at the cup I was holding as I sat next to her.
I just woke up. I woke up just in time because they were just about to have lunch. Mom was currently serving rice. She also gave me a plate and served it to me. Then she placed a bowl of hot soup in front of me. That's when I realized that the dish was beef stew.
Awesome, soup and coffee. Good.
"I don't know about your son, auntie. Look, he's stewing a dish and making coffee. And he's wearing a turtleneck. It's so hot. Does that feel like winter?" Riley stupidly criticized me while he was picking up a dish.
"So, you said you were cold, right?" Luna asked him, raising her eyebrows, sitting next to him.
"It was early this morning. Why do I need to be cold at noon? We're in the Philippines, Luna."
"But you should have just worn panties and a bra. You weren't cold earlier. Your brain is also upside down."
"What if I turn your chair upside down and you fall?"
