The next coming days were busy days for both Daffodil and Lexus. They did not waste time in making sure that their wedding would be grand.
Dixon was still checked in at the resort where Trixie is working as a receptionist and most of the time it was Trixie with whom Dixon had a talk. He even invited Trixie for dinner one night with the intent to know more things about Lexus.
“Trixie, I am wondering what Lexus does for a living. Is he a businessman?” he asked, with a quizzical look darted at Trixie.
Trixie seemed to be surprised by his query that she looked at him with a furrowed forehead. “Why are you asking, Mr. Dixon?” she retorted with still creases on her forehead.
“Well, I am just curious. You know, Daffodil is a very good friend of mine and in case you did not know it yet, Daff is a sole heir to a billionaire couple in Los Angeles, and her family and our family are business partners in some businesses.” He smiled at her with pride. He wanted to determine if Lexus is not only after the wealth of Daffodil.
Trixie was somehow surprised upon knowing that Daffodil is not an ordinary person in their place, but rather a billionaire. However, compared to Lexus, who was recently found out to be the real son of Alpha Daedos, Lexus might be wealthier than Daffodil. Their Alpha is practically the owner of all the land of the Mythical Silver Shadow Pack, and that includes the farmlands and products from them, the rivers, lakes, and forests including everything therein plus multiple manufacturing businesses in the country and nearby countries, and two big resorts in the country. But how can she tell Lexus about it without exposing the true identity of Lexus and their werewolf pack or origin? Trixie suddenly was in deep thought.
“Trixie? You suddenly fell silent.” Dixon cleared his throat before saying so.
“Oh, I was just thinking how wealthy Lexus is too. Lexus is also the sole heir of a powerful man in this country. That is all I can say,” Trixie said smiling at Dixon. “So, don’t worry, Daffodil is in good hands. My friend Lexus, truly loves and treasures her.”
Dixon stiffened as he heard the statement of Trixie. He fell silent for a while before he was able to speak again. “Oh, that is good to hear Trixie. It is not so easily detectable to Lexus that he is such a wealthy man too.”
“Lexus grew up to be a humble and kind man, and his valiancy and deep-rooted principles are incomparable. If you would like to know how wealthy he is, you can check in the internet the businesses of the Merthy Family in this country. Lexus' father is Daedos Merthy,” Trixie added. It is better that Dixon will know Lexus based only on what the public knew and not the whole truth about his real identity.
Dixon nodded and smiled at Trixie. “Thank you, Trixie. I will try to do your suggestion as I really wanted to know more about Lexus.”
Dixon returned to his rented suite in the resort with his mind was being engulfed by the information shared with him by Trixie. As he sat down on the bed, he took his mobile phone and started to search for the name Daedos Merthy.

At the packhouse of the Mythical Silver Shadow Pack, Alpha Daedos called on an emergency meeting with his pack soldiers and officers.
“I gathered you all now as I learned from an Alpha from a nearby pack that his men spotted Drew in one of the night clubs in the free zone city, with some men with him. I wanted you to bring him back here in our packhouse. He might not be my biological son, but he grew up with me. I still consider him as my other son, aside from Lexus,” Alpha Daedos said when everybody has been seated inside the conference hall.
Lexus looked at his Alpha father and nodded in agreement. He was priorly informed by Alpha Daedos how he feels about Drew and his intent to keep Drew as his adopted son, and he did not argue or go against his decision. For Lexus, it is but right that Alpha Daedos still consider Drew as his son, especially that his real father, the former Beta has been dead already.
“My Alpha Father, please allow me to organize and head a special group that will search for Drew. I also wanted him back.” Lexus stated that gained the admiration of the soldiers and officers of the Mythical Silver Shadow pack.
“If that is what you wanted my son, I will assign you then that task to organize and head a special search group for Drew.” Alpha Daedos smiled at Lexus, with his eyes shining with pride. He must admit that he felt grateful to his former Beta for guiding Lexus well from being just a boy to the man he is now.
“Thank you, Alpha Father.”
“But Lexus, your wedding is coming soon, you must not neglect that also or your bride might think that marrying her is not the most important thing in your life,” Alpha Daedos said as he remembered the upcoming wedding of his son.
Lexus smiled wide and shook his head. “Nope, Father. That is something I will never set aside. Everything has been planned out already with our wedding planner. There is nothing to worry about it anymore.”
“Good. It is settled then. Just update me then, Lexus, and everyone, you are free to leave this room now. Our meeting is finished.” Alpha Daedos stood up from his chair and approached Lexus. “I am confident that with you, heading the special search group, Drew will be here again, soonest.”
“Thank you for the confidence in me, Alpha Father. I hope, I will not fail you, and I hope Drew would come to us voluntarily. I don’t want to fight with him anymore, Father.”
“So am I, Lexus. Fighting will not do good to both of you. It is time to help each other instead of hating and fighting each other.”
