Enzo (Epilogue)
We were in the delivery room John, Nico and Frank was thrown out it was just me and Cat that was allowed in the room. I knew they were freaking out outside because if I was in their shoes I would have freaked out. Cat was having her contractions one after the other the doctor said our baby girl was going to come fast which was a relieved because Cat was struggling the past few days. She wouldn’t say anything but I could see it. This whole pregnancy was a breeze actually we looked so well after her she didn’t have any problems no high blood pressure, no Braxton hicks’ contractions nothing. It’s just our baby girl that didn’t want to come out. But Cat was yet again pressing my hand so hard I thought it will fall off as she screamed then I heard a doctor say “Push Cat, push.” I held her and looked at her while she pushed and pushed. When she stopped the doctor said “one more Cat one more” She held onto my hand for dear life and pushed and then I heard the most beautiful sound in the world my baby girl crying. I kissed Cat on the forehead and then on the lips. “You did it angel you did it.” I said as the nurse swaddled our baby and brought her over to Cat. She was lying on Cat’s chest, Cat was crying and our little girl was looking at the world for the first time. “Hi baby girl I’m your daddy.” I touched her hand. I could feel the tears forming in my eyes. This was a miracle, bringing a life into this world was amazing. I held Cat sideways and our little girl. “You decided on a name yet?” I asked Cat because Cat couldn’t decide. She wanted to give her her old name Lucy because she always wanted to remember where she came from. But I wanted to give her my mothers name Isabella and then Bella for short. “I have; I’m forgetting my old life I don’t want my old life to touch our little girl we can call her Isabella.” “Oh, mom is going to be so happy. Hello Isabella Capone.” I said to her as I bend down and kissed her on the forehead.
John
I couldn’t believe Cat is in delivery and we have to wait outside but we are not her husband on paper so we will have to stick to the rules although we don’t think rules apply to us. I was worried about her; she was really suffering the last few weeks with the baby. She didn’t complain once in her whole pregnancy. She didn’t even ask for weird stuff. I must say her pregnancy was a breeze for all of us. I was so happy she delivered this baby because now it is my turn. Yes, I know I have to wait a few weeks before we can start but I want her pregnant again. The glow she had while pregnant was absolutely stunning I would keep her pregnant if I could. That day she walked down the aisle in that stunning wedding dress I don’t think any of us had an inkling of how much she would change our lives and all for the better. Business was going great both legal and illegal business. Since Alejandro was at our wedding, we had no problems with cartel anymore and no Mafia family complained about the cartel everything was going great. I know Cat always get’s nervous when things go to well but we loved it no problems to solve no people to get rid of. Life was a breeze and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Frank Nico and I was standing in the waiting room when Enzo came to fetch us. “Come meet our little girl, Isabella Capone.” “Oh, thank God.” I said a bit to load I wasn’t too happy that she wanted to call the baby by her other name, Lucy was someone that was in the past I didn’t want her to bring the past into the present. And luckily the Gods heard my prays and Isabella was born.
When we walked into the room Bella was laying on her mothers’ chest. I walked straight to her “May I?” I asked Cat “Off course.” I took Bella and held her to my chest. “Hi baby girl it’s your uncle John.” I let her look at me and I’m sure I saw a smile. “She’s smiling” I said shocked “That’s gas John babies can’t smile so early on.” Frank said. I gave Bella back to her mother and made space for Frank and Nico.
Nico
I couldn’t believe it’s a year later and everything that happened this year. We got married build a massive house and now we have a baby in the house Isabella Capone such a suitable name for a girl with a mother like Cat. She never ceased to amaze me everything she does she does with grace and consideration for other people. I made the biggest mistake of my life once and she gave me a second chance and now standing here next to her with Bella in my arms I have tears in my eyes that this woman gave me a second chance and one of these days I will hold my own child coming from this wonderful woman. “She’s beautiful Cat just like her mom.”
Frank
Since the moment we found out Cat was pregnant I was on her the whole fucking time. I didn’t want to go to work because I was scared, she fell and loose the baby. If I didn’t see her in a half an hour, I go looking for her. And she wasn’t even carrying my baby how will I be when she carries by baby, because after this pregnancy and after seeing this beautiful baby, I want one to, maybe even two but I’ll start with one. She was glowing her whole pregnancy and she was right we had more moods than she had while pregnant. I hoped every pregnancy she has is as easy as Isabella’s. When I took Isabella in my arms I fell in love. She was perfect, she might not be mine but I will spoil her and be the best uncle I can be for her. “She’s beautiful Cat.” Cat looked at me I could see she was exhausted but she asked in any case “So you think you want one?” “I do. I definitely do.”
