Chapter 95 Extra Chapter 10

Chapter 95 Extra Chapter 10

A smile crawled on my face. The dark was hiding me. They took care of each other like brother and sister. Tom should be with his wife. He was comforting my scared wife as a father does to his scared little girl.

"I won't talk to him when you find him. He shouldn't have disappeared." My wife wasn't looking certain about her threat. It broadened my smile.

Like my wife, Tom believed it too that I could be alive and out somewhere watching them. They weren't wrong. They don't need to know the truth, just for now.

"Do you think Andrew could be the stalker?" I saw fear in her eyes. I should have listened to her when she first voiced her dread. It's never too late. We might not be together but we were safe. And we were a family.

Tom shook his head. "You're not thinking about it, your nightmare or anything. Your baby needs you now. You should be happy."

"I don't know how to smile and be happy without him. He said right I didn't die without him. But I don't know how to live without him. Everything! Nothing seems important. And my baby." My heart began to thud in my chest. It hardly went out of rhythm. Her words stung like thousands of knives. I have hurt her. Her words describe the depth of my given wounds. I hate these feelings. I never meant her to make things perceived this way. I couldn't take decisions because I was getting emotional. I'm the wall that is between my family and problems. I forced myself to stay, instead of rushing forward and pulled her into a tight hug.

Her arm came around her round stomach. "That's all I feel I have. But that doesn't make me happy. Please, I want my husband back. I'll apologize to him though he should be the one." Tears welled in her eyes.

I squeezed my eyes shut. It is hard for me. I'm doing everything for our family. I didn't want our kids to spend their childhood under fear or alone, without their parents.

"Brother will never apologize." My eyes flew open hearing Tom. He got on his feet and tugged my wife on her feet, carefully. "No more talking. You're resting. If you want, I can stay in your room."

"No, you must be tired. I'll be alright." She shook her head. I was glad they were taking care of each other at this difficult time.

He guided her to her room. "I'm next to your door. Just shout my name, I'll be there, nothing to fear, Evie." Tom talked to her politely.

"Ok, I believe Ricky is alive." She was scared. I clenched my jaw. I killed him. He was still scaring her.

"You're not thinking about anything. Think about your baby. Have you talked to them?" His eyes were worried over her. But he masked it.

"I don't know."

He laughed. "You should talk to Mini and Rose. They're gonna teach you a lot of things. As for talking to your baby."

She flashed a smile his way. "I'll try to do that." They went out of sight as they stepped in the room. I stayed under the dark.

I wanted to embrace my brother, and tell him everything but there was a strong reason I was here today. Tom walked out of the room and strode over to the next door.

I took it out and read the message from Zhang. He was hidden in my wife's room. Andrew's men were looking for them everywhere.

I kept pacing to and fro. I glanced at the clock. It was four in the morning. My phone vibrated in my pocket, again. I stared at the stone house from the window of my room. My jaw locked.

This place was safe for her until Tom didn't lead them here. It was by mistake. I could have killed them. But they had captured him and the doors were locked. My friends weren't in to fulfill their promises. But we would find a way.

There was only one way to bring them out of the house without letting anyone know. Rocky was in the house and he was updating us after every hour.

"It's four. We have two hours or less." I muttered.

"Are we going to explode the door? I would do this." Arsh said, he got on his feet to get them.

"No, we're removing the wall of the washroom of my room." I told them.

"That's going to be a tough job. We should start now." Blackie said, Victor and Sergio nodded their heads.

"And Tom?" Drake asked, looking at the house over my shoulder.

"Rocky will go with him. He has to pretend to be his side. We still don't know where Sofia and her son are." I told them.

"And Eveleen? Removing the wall would take hours. He could have hurt her." Aaron told me, shaking his head.

" Cey is an engineer. You have to suggest something or we won't let you hold boss's boy." Code said, giving him a cold look.

He gave him a look. "The wall would be double the usual one. We have to start now. We need things but not weapons." Cey stared at Arsh.

"Ain't it an easy way." Arsh snorted, dropping the plan.

"We shouldn't forget. Ma'am and Tom are still inside the house. I would have been really glad if you had suggested this to me in case Rocky would be alone." Jackie said.

"Our two companions are also inside. They're going to help." I reminded them. Jackie didn't like Rocky's girlfriend's involvement in our plan. I wasn't in favor either. I would never allow any stranger to wander around my wife.

"We should start taking out the window of the washroom. That might be about eight feet above the ground but it could easy our job easier." Cey said. He walked in the hall grasping some light and heavy tools. Ben followed him with the same heavy tools.

"Let's not waste time." I told them, grabbing the kit of the tools from the ground.

It was cold but after hours of effort, we succeeded in holing the wall. It was enough to pass through but I needed a bigger one for my wife. I wasn't calling her fat but her comfort came first.

"You should go in. We'll keep the cars ready." Aaron said.

"And?" I asked him.

"That too, brother," He nodded with a smile. A helicopter that would be going to be a major part of the plan.

Checking my mask and hood in place, I managed to pass through the hall. I took out my gun.

Striding forward on my tiptoes, I tapped my knuckles softly. There was one more plan that would keep Andrew away from my wife, forever.

The door opened gradually. My eyes drifted away from his face to the room. The door was locked. Anger coursed through me. "What the fuck?" My wife was sleeping and a nurse was in the room. She was checking her blood pressure.

"I've convinced them to lie to him." Zhang said in a low voice. I opened my mouth to yell at the woman to take her hands off of my wife. "He's outside, boss."

Whatever he has planned. Eve wouldn't spend another minute here after the hole was big enough to carry her out.

"I'll shoot you and every dear to you if a word runs out of your mouth which won't be in her favor." I motioned at my wife.

She stared at me with big round eyes.

"She won't, boss. Andrew has already scared the hell out of her." Zhang said.

"You'll save me. Right?" She asked in a shuttering whisper.

"Yes, tell him what I told you and return to the room. We'll take you out of her. Then you can go wherever you want." Zhang said.

Her eyes turned to me. "Yes," I said after watching her questioning eyes on me and I shoved the gun back.

"We should help them to get it done soon." Zhang suggested. It was better than standing in the room, doing nothing but glared at her. We drifted into the washroom. Zhang closed the door behind him.

My phone began to vibrate in my pocket.

'Where are you, Devil? I did not get much time.' I stared at the message.

It wasn't only Rocky, Zhang but also Tom who informed me about the ambush.

"Is this enough?" Drake asked.

I nodded. My head jerked to the door after hearing noises. My hand reached for my gun again.

When I pulled the door open, she was already gone out of the door.

A low growl rattled through my throat. I muttered curses. With a dark look, I forwarded for the door. The gunshots rang. It made my feet deterred. My heart gave a loud thud in my ear. I curled my hand around the door knob.

My hard gaze turned to Zhang as he stopped me and waved a tab in front of me. My eyes rested on Tom and Eve. It was mute but I could hear them clearly from the other side of the door.

Anger was boiling in my veins. My glare was boring a hole at him. He was just a few steps away. I should have cut his hands, taken his eyes out, cut his tongue in pieces, and shoved it down his fucking throat. I would give him a most painful death. It was a promise.

The nurse was dead, soaked in the pool of her own blood. Zhang's face fell. He gave her words.

Controlling a strong need to cut Andrew in pieces, I focused on my scared wife. Tom was prepared to protect his family.

In his madness, Andrew revealed his biggest truth. He was presented there at the party. His eyes were on her. Tann managed to hide him from us all and trained him to fight against us. Fucking bastard.

"Pack whatever you see things that are dear to her." I told Zhang. I would never allow anyone near my wife but I had seen her shopping everything in matching colors for us. I didn't want to see her sad face. She could shop again, but she wouldn't.

I grabbed the duffle bag and piled her inner wears in it and zipped it up. I grasped my gun again and stood near the door.

"I would have killed myself if I weren't pregnant. Perhaps, he's dead." I couldn't see her face but I felt her pain. It broke her today. Her pain cut through my heart. That was the biggest reason I did all this. Let people consider me dead. To keep her safe. This triggered her fear.

" Evie, don't say this. We have only five minutes. Go to your room and lock it. They'll help you, protect you over their death." Tom told her.

"Is he dead, Tom?" Squeezing my eyes shut, I rested my forehead against the closed door. I should be with her. I pursed my lips to hold back to shout in rage.

"No!" Tom said to her.

"Sir, we're running out of time."

"Take care of yourself and baby."

Anger bubbled beneath my skin. I took steps back. My grasp tightened around the weapon.

"I've called dad. I'm going to pretend to be their side. I need time. I'll find him."

She stormed into the room, her eyes were wet and widened in terror.

'He'll pay for making her cry. I'll make his life a nightmare. You got my word, Love.

Her eyes snapped at Zhang and then at me. My feet quickened at her. She needed a strong distraction from her fear. I clicked the door locked. "This way, ma'am," I told her. I needed to touch her before my anger took over me. I didn't want to go out and put all the bullets in his head. It would be an easy death. He had earned something really rare. Cruelty for himself! I wrapped my gloved fingers around my arm and tugged her toward the washroom. My gloves were irking me. But I couldn't deny she was the remedy for my anger. I love her.
