Chapter 320 Finally Here
ADRIANA
"Leo, where the hell is your father? Isn't he getting my texts? Why isn't he coming? Why didn't he come with you?"
The door opened and Hazel walked into the room.
"I don't know. He hasn't been home. I haven't seen him yet."
What on earth was going on? Where was my husband?
"What about your brothers? Are they okay?"
He nodded.
"They've been asking a lot of questions about you and dad though and I'm running out of things to tell them."
I needed to go back to my home.
"Hazel, get us out of here. I need to go back to my kids since my husband has forgotten who he is."
My head was still spinning when I tried to stand up.
"Adriana, you need to rest. You hit your head pretty bad."
I touched my head and thankfully, there was no bandage. Only a bandaid.
"Don't worry about me. I'll rest when I go back home and check on my kids."
I could tell that we were still in the station, they probably just took us to the lounge area.
By the time I get back home, Elijah better be dead or dying because there was no reason why he would be alive and not take care of my kids.
We heard a loud crash from above us and Hazel stopped us from walking.
"What was that?"
There were more loud sounds and even shouting.
"I'll go check. You guys stay here and lock the door. I'll be back."
I didn't care what the hell was going on. Even if it was an attack, at least I would be able to get the hell out of here.
"Mum, what's going on?"
"Go sit on the bed, Leo. It's going to be fine. Don't worry."
What the hell was going on?
The door opened and I could still hear shouting from above.
"Hazel, what is it? What's going on?"
The look on her face had changed.
"It's... you can come, my Queen. It's safe. Let's go."
I wanted to ask her what was wrong but what was the whole use when I was about to go upstairs and see for myself.
I held Leo's hand tightly as we made our way up the stairs.
I first smelt him before I saw him.
And then I saw that fat thing slide towards me as he threw him across the room. The entire place was a mess.
"I'll ask you one more time. Where is my Queen?!"
He hadn't seen me since I was still standing at the corner.
Tobias was there and I could see the fear in his eyes as Roman turned to him.
"Commissioner, my anger is on its last reigns. You've held her here for how many days?! And I didn't know?!"
Was he just realizing that I was missing or he just felt the urgency to come get me?
"M-my King I can assure you that she's fine. She's here with my men and they are working on bringing her. You don't have to worry."
Working on bringing me over? What a joke.
"I swear, if I so much as see a scratch on her..."
Well, he was in for the shock of his life.
"Dad!"
He finally looked over to us and he let go of the commissioner's shirt.
"Adriana!" He hurried over to me and hugged me.
The only reason I let him hug me was because we were in public. I would have told him off.
When he noticed that I didn't wrap my arms around him, he pulled away and looked at me, noticing the look on my face.
"Adriana, I'm sorry. I- What happened to your head? And what's this on your face?"
I had no idea that bastards handprint was still on my face but I was happy that it was.
"Who hit you?"
Well, this should be fun.
Oh, there wasn't one.
"How many of them touched you?"
I knew how far Elijah could go when he was mad and I was hoping that I could use that anger.
I pointed each and every one of them out to him, which was almost everyone in the station except the female officer.
"Arrest all of them! Put them in the car!"
The whole place became rowdy as the guards gathered all of them and took them outside.
I asked them not to forget the bastard who groped me at the bar. I'll deal with him personally.
"My Queen, I'm sorry. You have to accept my sincerest apology-"
I raised my hand to silence him.
"Save it. I need to see you tomorrow. First thing in the morning. Make sure you show up."
He turned back to me but I didn't give him the chance to talk as I grabbed Leo's hand and pulled him out.
There was nothing that he had to say. Absolutely nothing. He ran after me and stopped me before I could enter the car.
"Adriana- Leo, wait in the car. I need to speak to your mother."
Leo entered the car while Hazel stood in front of us, saying nothing
"Adriana, why're you mad at me? I'm sorry. I had no idea that you'd been calling my phone. i didn't take it with me."
If I wanted to say anything to him, especially with the way my heart was boiling right now, I might cause a bigger fight.
So I removed my hand from his and stepped into the car. I saw that he turned to Hazel to speak to her but she just walked past him and got into the front seat.
There was no use saying anything to him here. It was a waste of time.
He got into the seat beside me and we made our way back home. I didn't want to even look at him.
Right now, I didn't care what he had to say or where he went. I just needed to get home and see my kids, take a shower and then continue where I stopped.
