Chapter 36 Forgiveness
Caden's POV
Trixie is truly amazing. I can't believe she didn't go off. She didn't get mad. She comforted me.
I fucked up royally and she was concerned about me. My Queen has a heart of gold.
"They can sense your true intentions. Your true feelings. They can also feel what you feel. That's their gift." Drake purrs.
"What, their gift. What are you talking about?" I ask. "They are special." he says proudly, evidently knowing more than I do.
"Did you talk to her wolf?" I ask
"Of course I talked to Leigha!" He huffs.
Leigha and Trixie, my beautiful Queens.
I could stay like this forever. Wrapped in her arms. Her wrapped in mine. We don't speak. We just feel. The Moon Goddess has truly blessed me with a perfect mate. She's beautiful. She's perfect. She has a big heart. She's mine.
What have I ever done to receive such a kind, caring, and considerate mate. So forgiving, so innocent, so tiny. She fits perfectly in my arms. Like she has always belonged here. Like she will always be.
I want this moment to last forever. I needed this. She knew I did. My Queen, she walked over to me after I'm the one who messed up. My Queen sat in my lap. My Queen wrapped her beautiful and loving arms around me. She forgave me. Mate still wants me, even though I betrayed her. I hurt her. She felt the betrayal. And here she is, still wrapped in my arms. Thank you Moon Goddess I say to myself.
After we pull apart from our embrace, I look into her eyes. "Thank you my Queen." I whisper
My Queen. I now have my Queen. I will never do that again. I will never screw this up. I will never betray my Queen again.
"I will kill you meself if you hurt Queen again." Drake huffs.
Coban' POV
I sit here quietly. I look over at my brother and my mate and smile. Yes, I wish I was holding her like that. I can't wait to have her in my arms.
Caden needed this. They both needed this.
Damn that turned out better than I thought it would. " I told you she would react this way. You didn't listen did you. " Conan says proudly.
"How did you know? You literally knew exactly how she would react. " I say to him in astonishment.
" That's our gift. We just received it very recently. We don't know very far in advance though. " Conan says as he puffs out his chest.
"Our gift" I say to myself. "Why haven't I noticed ? Why didn't I know or sense this?" I asked my lycan. "You haven't been paying attention. You have been to busy to notice." he replied.
We get up and head for the door. I would like to stay here with her. To talk to her. To hold her. But the ball is starting soon and there is still situations we have to take care of first.
"Trixie, would it be to much to ask for, I mean can I, would you" I begin to say as I stutter on the words I'm trying to say. Really. One look at this girl has me at a loss for words, making me feel like a shy teenage lycan again.
"Don't worry, mate likes us too. Mate will give u a hug." Conan says as he mocks my behavior.
" hush lycan" I grumble at him.
Trixie lets go of my brothers hands and walks over to me taking both my hands into hers.
"My king" she says quietly as she looks up into my eyes. " Your my mate as well. You can ask for anything. "
"May I , would it be to much to ask for" I tried to say as my brother cut in.
"My Queen. My brother is feeling slightly neglected and left out. " he started and smirked over at us." He wants to ask you for a hug. He's feeling a bit insecure."
Yeah that's Caden. My brother is back to being an ass.
Trixie didn't say anything in response. She let go of my hands as she stood on her tippy toes. She wrapped both arms around my neck.
Damn she's short. I bent down to make it a little easier.
My tiny little Queen.
"You don't ever have to ask for a hug my King." she whispers in my ear. "and I'll never leave you out."
She kissed my cheek and looked into my eyes before we pulled apart. Damn hers eyes. They are absolutely breathtaking. Hazel eyes with a Golden glow.
Damn. My tiny Queen. I'm hooked already. She's absolutely perfect. I love this tiny little lady already.
