The wedding preparations finally began and I was slowly finding my peace again
At one point, I worried about the Luna being around James. I could not wrap my hand around it.
They were always together and she was always needing him to do something for her.
I didn't think there was any other reason behind it though because there was no way the Luna would abuse such power and descend so low as to want the Beta when she has the Alpha who had power over everyone and everything in the pack
I just wish she would not turn him around all the time when I needed him.
And I did not like the idea of another woman having that much power over my man
Perhaps, finally getting married to James would mean she has less access to him now and I can be with my husband more often
The Alpha promised me that. I was a very beautiful bride.
This was the moment I was waiting for. The day I'd finally get married to my mate, the man I loved.
Everything went so well and we were showered with so many gifts
The ceremony finally came to an end, and while James was taking the final well-wishes from the noble visitors, I retired to our nicely scented bedroom, prepared ahead of time specially for our wedding night.
I took off the wedding dress and took my bath. I thought James would have been back by then but he wasn't.
I began to wonder why they'd keep him for so long.
Well, that will buy me more time to wear the lingerie and doll up for him.
I took my time to apply some lotion on my body, watching myself in the mirror
I looked very beautiful and the lingerie exposed my skin in the very right proportions
I sat on the bed and waited, watching the door and listening for any movements
None was forthcoming. With each passing minute, I began to wonder what was keeping James
At some point I got infuriated and dived into the duvet, tired of waiting

One of the maids whispered something into my ear as I tried to round up with the guests
So many people came to honour my wedding and all wanted to give their congratulations
The maid motioned that someone very important was waiting for me in one of the rooms and before I could ask her who it was she disappeared into the crowd
I wanted to quickly finish this and return to the house where I was sure Veronica would be waiting for me
I opened the door to the guest room and slowly walked in
"Hello?" I called out. There was no one in sight. I looked all over.
Then I heard the door close and quickly turned round.
Sophie was standing there with the keys in her hand and a big smile on her face.
"Sophie?" I called in disbelief. "What is this? What the hell is going on here?"
"Look how handsome the new groom in town is," she said as she slowly walked towards me.
"Sophie what is the meaning of this? Please let me out. I cannot be here. I need to go home now to my wife. We just got married."
"Relax," she said with an annoyingly calm voice. "Your wife can wait but I cannot. After all, she will be having you completely after today."
"What do you mean?" I held out my hand to stop her from coming any further. "Sophie, please don't do this, I beg of you."
"The more time you waste, the more your wife realises something is wrong."
"I cannot do this. I am a married man now."
"Just one more time then. Let me have a taste of this before it's taken away from me," she said seductively.
"We cannot do this. Not here not now in the palace. What if someone finds out? What if the King starts looking for you or something?"
"You think I haven't fixed that before bringing you in here? I had it all perfectly planned my love. Leave all of that for me to worry about. The only thing you need to worry about is satisfy me."
"Sophie, please, please, I beg of you," I tried to make her stop, but she kept coming closer.
"This will be the last time," she said as she pulled on my clothes
"Neve again? Never again, Sophie," I said, and she chuckled.
"You need to see the look on your face," she said. "It beats me how you're always worried about doing what is right all the time and end up not doing it. Yet you cannot be man enough to face it."
"You are not ready then," I tried to push her away.
"Where do you think you're going?" She pushed me back lightly. "Remember the keys are here. Are you going to break down the door? Shout for help?"
She laughed and I glared at her.
"You have to give your word Sophie, this will be the last time."
"Fine. Enough of the long talks. Come make mama feel good."
When I tried to touch her, she shifted away, pointing a finger at my face.
"Don't even think to rush this because I'll only let you go when you've fully satisfied me. So eat this coochie like you want it."
"Just get down here," I dragged her and pushed her against the bed. She giggled.
"Yes, I like it when you do it like that."
I have to quickly do this and find Veronica before she notices something is wrong. It was our wedding night, and she was waiting up for me.
I only wanted to make Sophie feel good and leave
But that was not what she wanted and in the end, we went more than a round, changing positions, our naked and sweaty bodies against each other as we moaned loudly like I had not just gotten married to another woman
