“Zander I am so sorry for that. I told you that he would do it, he normally never makes good on his threats but somehow I felt he would with this one. I am so sorry for the interruption; it was supposed to be our day and turned into a disaster.” Hopefully this is not another one of the superstitions he is going to tell me about, it won’t last since it had bad karma involved.
“I knew it would happen to. The thing is he does not get to me like he does you; it was not your fault. You are not the one who told him to make an ass of himself. You are my wife now; he will not hurt you again. I will see to that.”

Zanders mind went back to the last call from the mother of the children, the two oldest girls had tried to kill each other both of them were put into the mental institution, only when the charges were filed for what the step mom did to them they were dropped since the mom made the girls change their story to spare the woman who has a mental illness and did not realize what she did to the girls.
“Excuse me, Mr. Space case, you won’t be here to protect me from the wrath of Alex, you will be in California on a movie set, having a good old time, while I am here taking care of kids, and possibly killed by their father. How will you stop him? Seriously, that is hard to do.”
“Okay really you want to do this now? What you still love him? He lost you, you are my wife now, I was there to pick up the pieces of the world he crumbled from under you, so now he can just go fuck himself. I guess, I will have to figure this out won’t I. Movies do not transfer people I checked into it, I am not ready to retire, and there is only one thing left, but you already made it clear you are not moving, so quit bitching and relax, enjoy our wedding day.”
“You know, I cannot leave here, I love my job, all of my family and friends are here, I got this Josh will take care of it if Alex bothers me. I will be just fine. “Okay look, I am not blaming you for what you said, you are right I will be too far away to protect you, I cannot deny that. I will see what I can do when I go back to the set, maybe I can make it where you will only have a few eerie weeks without me.”
“Sure change the subject, but, okay, hopes you can work it out.”
The remaining time that Zander was home flew by, but for Alex was a nightmare.
Zander made sure that he saw his kids before he went back to California to the movie set. He had the strange feeling that he may never see them again since his plan was not according to what he thought it would be. He made sure he was what he should be while visiting them, their father.
